How do you navigate having people over for dinner now, before you had three chairs and a bench plus two bar stools for a total of 8(7?) people but in the new space only two of those beautiful chairs fit with the two bar stools for 4 people. Or do you have chairs in other rooms serving a dual purpose? Genuinely interested as someone who regularly entertains large groups.
Kitchen envy, girl... 😍 Have fun and enjoy! I guess if you want to entertain more people, it looks like you would be able to push the island a bit closer to the stove and the sink and then bring in the bench too. Hope you can make it work, because it's such a beautiful kitchen.
Alexandra- thank you so much for your mission of addressing the needs of us non-millionaire millennials! I remember watching your channel years ago when I was in an absurdly small apartment, and it made me feel better about my tiny space. Even us poor folks don't have to live in depressing spaces.
Not me taking furious notes on how to tackle my all white kitchen 🤩 Also can we just acknowledge what a gem Graham is!? Since joining Team AG, the DIY game is on a new level.
Oh my gosh Graham needs his own channel or segment or something where we get first hand explanations for everything that happens in the workshop. I would eat it up✨
SO many great ideas, BUT we lost so much dining space. Where once there was space for5-6 at the original table, now we have space for 2. Ok, there are only two roommates, but even when the table is pulled out there's only space for four (and no dining chairs!). I LOVE everything else they did.
I would have used a narrower hutch and put it perpendicular to the wall it's on now. Then there would have been room for a bigger table. I would also have used a bench against the wall, and the chairs on the island side. I would also have painted the hutch and cabinets a darker tone, like in her European inspiration photos.
@@ediefolta9494 What a great idea! Instead of useless space above the hutch, I think a tall narrow piece on the wall to the left would have left more dining space and been more functional.
@@ediefolta9494 I thought the same, there was space for a bigger dining space with the coffee hutch on the side, the outlid would also have been covered :) other than that, really beautiful kitchen!
Personally I would have gone with sage green for the cabinets and the hutch...but the furnishings and the way it all came together is AMAZING!! The wallpaper is killer! And Grahams talent is incredible... he's definitely professional++.I LOVE THE MAGNET DOOR.. SO CREATIVE!! Congratulations to two young women as well as the AG Team....thanks for sharing your talents!!💜💜💜💜💜
yes, or more of a smoky blue - the cabinets felt a little too pale for me, a bit unsatisfying somehow? I think there wasn't enough contrast from the walls and tiles. But it's still beautiful.
Pretty! I so wish you would have painted the hutch the same green shown in your mood board. It would have made that wall look so much richer. Love the ceiling light!
@@kansasgirl8371 yeah but those were big pinterest kitchens. And I didn't say it would look ugly but that it would made the space look smaller. Also the client didn't say anything about dark colors. She said the kitchen needed color. AG delivered that with the wallpaper. Which was a much better choice than dark furniture in a tiny space
This came out so pretty! My only qualm is I wish the paint was a little darker of a blue, it feels very pastel in comparison to her inspo pics and I’m a sucker for a super saturated kitchen.
Love this makeover. One critique. I would’ve added an over the sink drying rack. It provides function and keeps the counter clear. There wasn’t a drying rack in the new space and you could tell they used it a lot previously.
Yes I was looking for this comment! Was wondering who else noticed that. I also think the dining table is too small AND they didn’t account for where to put the extra chairs. The ‘taking several steps when they have ppl over’ aspect hasn’t really changed like they said they would. Apart from that it’s pretty.
Love this makeover so much! My one complaint is that when you pick colors, you always pick very pale hues. I would have loved to have seen a bit more pigmented blue. Something darker than white. It's very pretty, but it's hard to tell that it's blue.
I agree. It looks beautiful, but to me it doesn't really match the inspiration pics which all featured deep rich colors. It has a very different style in my opinion, even though it's obviously gorgeous.
I'm not sold on the hutch having both the caning and the black, textured back, but I love every other part of this makeover! The mirror and that wallpaper were made for each other.
the way i screamed when the middle hutch door just came off like i thought it broke lmao but no it is intentional and magnetic!!!! whaaat!!! that is genius!!!
I think it's a bit sad that you didn't go for a dark cabinet colour like in the inspiration. I like that it's not your usual style but I feel like you struggle a bit too get away from that, but it definitely turned out very very pretty and I love the wallpaper. Not a huge fan of the chairs and table but that's completely my own preference and it works well in the space for sure.
We are so pleased with the transformation of this space! You did an absolutely amazing job. The whole DeccoPrint team is thankful for your kind words and hopes to turn many more places into dream spaces.✨
This space looks amazing! Great job! An idea for the future, you could use one of those cabinet drawers (used for garbage cans) to attach the cabinet door to the hutch and it would pull out like a drawer.
This is one of the most epic, high quality transformations yet!! Graham's talent is next level and the way this came together is soooo beautiful!! Absolutely stunning!
The end result is stunning 🤩 it's unbelievable that it's the same kitchen! Congratulations on your book 👏🏻👏🏻 and thank you for caring enough to bring that content accessible to anyone that wishes for a Pinterest space on a budget 🥰, like myself 😄
The styling is always immaculate and the clever solutions (like how to install temporary backsplash over drywall) are always brilliant, but the color story here really didn’t work for me. The cold pale blues clashed with the renter’s beige walls so I feel like going warmer would have made more sense, especially after seeing the red wood baseboards, trim, and laminate countertops. Color is such a tough thing though, especially when you’re picking colors without being in the space first.
Amazing!!! I think this is one of your best renos! It seems much bigger! Love the tall chairs and the chandelier. I might have added a cupboard on top of the fridge to maximize the space, but the change is spectacular.
they seemed super happy and the design is such a smart way to update an old renter kitchen but im surprised team ag decided to prioritize the coffee station rather than the dining area given she mentioned loving to entertain, and the fact that two people use the space. she said she didn't like the effort it took to use their old dining set up, and i feel like the solution requires the same effort to be functional and doesnt really fit the vibe.
STUNNING 😍 as always. I love that Graham has his own (team AG) workshop! More space for HIS creativity to grow! Congrats 🎉 love the cottagecore vibe, love the hutch😊👍👏great job team AG😊
Stunning transformation. I will never get over how epic Graham is. He levels up every make over x10!! Congrats on the workshop - makes total sense for y’all.

This is inspiring. Since I’m only one person the smaller table makes more sense but it could be opened up to include others when necessary. Storage is going to be really important in my tiny home I’m building and I like the idea that she paid more attention to storage in the coffee bar and such than just the dining room and chairs taking up the most space. Very pretty.
Ok I wasn't sure about the wallpaper but wow it looks amazing what an incredible transformation of that kitchen/meals area...Graham that hutch is beautiful...well done Alexandra and team AG 👏👏👏 I bet the ladies love how much more functional that space is now 😍
I usually do a mental assessment of what I would do with the space before you even start, but I must admit, I never get it right! You guys have so much talent and great ideas. Graham is a blessing to the team, as are all the others. Congratulations again on a job well done. ❤❤❤❤🎉
Wow you did wonders with that kitchen! Love the wallpaper and dining area. And so glad that Graham has a workshop at AG location. He deserves it! Well done all around TeamAG!
A big yes to the workshop, garage, atelier or taller....at last! Love the trendy wallpaper, not so much the off white blue on cupboards and hutch? I would have used the flower tone on them.
Best makeover I have ever seen on your channel! It fits the style that the client described and seems to add physical space to the kitchen. I really like the light as a statement piece. I would have gone a shade darker for the blue cabinetry and hutch - perhaps it looks darker IRL. Great design!
The kitchen turned out gorgeous, but Alexandra's paint choices lately are driving me crazy - the paint shades are too pastel. The blues and greens in the inspo were so pretty, but this blue looked like white with a hint of blue. If you're doing a color, go for it!
Looooving that wallpaper! Your videos have been such a gift during these crazy past couple of years. Your videos inspired me to redo my outdated kitchen in a beautiful blush colour and I'm planning on tackling another room in the spring. Really looking forward to getting your book. Thank you for making beautiful things!
The best makeover so far, love the color pallet (baby blue and this dark green), the eclectic / vintage vibe so much !!!! This style changes a lot from your other transformation, and I m so glad you did it ! Also all your ideas to gain space are amazing (threw all your videos of course). But this one is really stunning 😍 Thank you a lot for this video and the inspiration
Beautiful makeover, that bold wallpaper made the transformation even greater. Loved the light fixture and the hutch hack coffee station. Great job guys
I love how Alexandra has been learning and improving her techniques too! Each video I see you using different tools, you can see how she gets involved in each part of the process and I love it, congrats 🎉
My dear Alexandra, you are one of the most remarkable artist I have enjoyed. It boggles my brain that anyone would criticize you and say some crazy stuff. I know you have to have developed alligator skin to be able to withstand the remarks made to you. You are a Jewel and your precious heart comes out in your shows thank you for remaining strong my dear! BRAVO TO YOU!!!❤
I refurbished one in 2021. I reworked it by adapting it and mounting the hutch part on the wall. That gave me the height for the appliances. I was lucky to already have a plug there. I store my glasses and mugs in the hutch, and my liquor in the bottom (It's a coffee bar right? lol). I also painted blackboard paint between the hutch and base above the existing wainscoating of the kitchen to change up messages to welcome guests. I installed lighting underneath the hutch part as well. My home was built in the 40s. I still have the original cupboards (painted white) so the hutch was painted to match. It's cute and very functional and GREAT when I have a gang over.
It's so lovely! But I am a bit sad that the cabinets and hutch are still almost white. That cornflower blue in the wallpaper would've been so much fun and they would've loved that! Not that this isn't super pretty too, it is, but that would've fit their inspo better I think and would've made that wallpaper really pop!
What a transformation! Overall a really good looking space and love that you share your laughter and funny moments! You did exactly what I thought could be done with the middle hutch door. There must be something wrong with my eyesight since I do not really get how the cold blue color of the hutch goes with the beautiful warm colors of the wallpaper and the rattan of the hutch doors.
Just pre-ordered your book...can't wait for it to be out! For me as a life long renter in the Bay Area, all the ideas you have to make a rental space your own are so amazing...now I just need a Graham in my life to build amazing furniture pieces and hang wallpaper.
This is such an awesome idea because now a days people really can’t afford to buy a home it’s just not as possible as it used to be so I think that this really caters to the new reality that most people are living. I LOVE IT ! ❤
I'm really enjoying this series, despite the fact that we aren't renting or having space issues and such, because I love taking notes of great ideas and seeing ingenious new products, and especially the happiness of the recipients after the makeovers. The changes are always beautiful and a huge improvement. It's fascinating to see what clever design can do to a home, and definitely not forgetting the amazing contributions of Graham. Congratulations on your book! How on earth did you find the time! 😳🤗
hi alexandra! im a pretty new subscriber but ive been running through the renter-friendly series like crazy, i just love all the work you and the team do and the results are always so stunning. i had to move back in w/ the family at the end of 2021 bcs i just couldnt hack it out on my own and one of the biggest problems was that my apartment at the time didnt feel like a home and i just didnt have an eye for decorating but these videos have been so educational and i am DEFINITELY gonna make good use of all the notes ive been taking for when im ready to go back out there, so thanks so much to all of you
Good news on the book which fills a gap. This is a loveable kitchen now. Thank you for the information but seeing your newest member of the team shine is really a plus.
Love that wallpaper! And the idea of transforming the hutch into a coffee station is brilliant. I love that your team always seems to be having such a good time, even though there's so much work to be done.
I would love this!!! Our rental is from the 80s and ugh... My husband and I want a studio setting in the front, giving 2 bedrooms to our kids. You're giving me all kinds of ideas!
Omg im soo happy for all the New things coming to your channel and your business. Watching Graham work in his dedicated space was reaaly fun and the final result with the kitchen, phenomenal.
I think the color Alexandra has in her own kitchen, that beautiful green, would work even better with wallpaper and all. Or that beautiful green hutch that was in the Milanote board originally
im SO happu i found your channel, i LOVE this kind of content but idk why i never found a channel that had only renovation and diy content like this, so this is a real find, im so so happy
Omg so amazing idea for that middle part of that hutch! Make it a drawer! And they can put all the appliances on it and just pull it out when they want to get something!
Oh gosh Alexandra, this makeover was so awesome, love that thrifted cabinet that you painted that beautiful color. I agree that the over head light for sure needed to be changed out and the one you picked is so beautiful. Love that you fixed the island so now it workds again. Oh my gosh your teamAg is so amazing and Graham is just the most amazing guy at all of the incredible things he can do and create. I love that you could do that backsplash it is so amazing and you would never guess that it is a peel and stick tile, I really want to be able to do that in my kitchen. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful makeover that I had so much fun watching and you always give me so many ideas and inspiration to get busy on my own older home. Stay safe and have a wonderful weekend, sending love and many hugs, bye!! 😍😻🙏👍💜💜💜🪴❄✨
That hutch is everything!!! Love your makeover! It's functional and aesthetic - the perfect combo! Just wondered if there's additional chairs to sit on if the table is fully opened?
Great job as always team AG!! Had a question for y’all, as a student who’s going to be renting for the first time next school year- do y’all have any ideas for ADHD friendly storage that still looks nice or neat? If things are out of sight, they basically don’t exist to my brain, so hiding things in cabinets is pretty difficult- especially if I need to use them often. I guess open storage works, but for me it tends to get really cluttered really quickly. Love y’all’s work and congrats on the book launch!! 💖
One thing that's been helpful to me is getting seagrass or metal storage baskets/bins with more of an open-weave pattern, so they look cohesive and less cluttered but are still pretty see-through. Works well for closets and storage spaces with open shelving and they can be super affordable from places like Target or Homegoods :)
Hi! You might want to check out the TH-camr Clutterbug. She has ideas for different organization styles and works with the way you naturally tend to organize. I believe she has ADHD herself
In my opinion this is your very best makeover yet. Of course this is my style so that’s why I adore it. It’s cozy, pretty, functional….it’s home sweet home. ♥️
one of my favorite aspects of your videos is that you do in depth explanations of workshopping (even though I have no skill with wood working at all lol). thank you for not gatekeeping diy ideas
Love your videos, can’t wait to get your book. I really wish you would tackle a laundry room. I spend so much time in that room as a mom and it has to be multipurpose in my house because you enter from my garage into that room and it is just off the kitchen. It’s one of those spaces that can turn to chaos easily, but houseguests have access and see the space easily
Build a mudroom in cabinetry stye For hanging coats ,bags A place to leave your shoes as you enter the hse A bench to put on shoes Shelves over the washing machine for washing soaps A table to fold clothes maybe?
I love watching your make overs Alexandra. You've got a fantastic team, especially Graham. You definitely made a huge improvement to this kitchen although I found the wall paper a little too dark combined with the light furniture. Would have also chosen a lighter colour for the dresser backsplash. The black is a bit harsh. Loved the cabinets, table and chairs!
Incredible makeover! Alexandra and A team you out did yourselves. The chandelier, backsplash, kitchen island revamp, perfect blue paint and hutch (koodoos to mightily builder man). It's perfect and one of my all time favorites.
Okay, I just gotta say it: Graham, you simultaneously make me wanna be as handy/on-top of DIYs as you and date a guy like you, give it up to living in the solution and always rockin a top-notch grin 👌👌
Am I the only one that noticed the wallpaper didn't line up when she was talking about how perfect it was? That would drive me crazy and I'd tear it down. Maybe it's because the cabinet was going in front of it that she didn't care.
What a transformation! So much added storage. The only comment I would make is that I would have put another knob on the hutch's magnetic door for ease of use and visual balance.
This makeover is grand ! Reconfigured hutch has provided for more efficient storage and convienent use of appliances. Wall paper is rich and inviting. Pale blue is fine though a deeper color on the hutch would have continued that rich feel for that side of the room. Sink/stove side is neater and those under cabinet lights are a good idea. Ceiling light = wow !
Would you guys ever do a video on how you set up Graham's workshop areas and what tools, supplies, and work benches you invested in? I love seeing how creative people make functional work spaces and use it as inspiration for my own space. Thank you!

If you click "like" before even watching :D Love you guys. Is this Graham´s dog??
Same here
Same here 😂
Literally me
Yes!
😂me too
I mean....Graham! He is everything! Impressed doesn't even touch what I feel as I watch him do his magic!
BRAVO TO YOU!!!❤
A huge improvement team AG!
I would have done the hutch in a wood tone to fit the vibe of that wall better.
I bet that kitchen looks even better during the day with natural light filtering in, looks like a beautiful Mediterranean restaurant.
My eyes see it the same way you do. I hope it looked more cohesive in real life.
Alexandra is a really impressive entrepreneur. I have no doubt her book will be wildly successful.
I was super critical of your choices until it all came together at the reveal at the end. I am floored!!!
hi alexandra! im a pretty new subscriber but ive been running through the renter-friendly series like crazy, i just love all the work you and the team do and the results are always so stunning. i had to move back in w/ the family at the end of 2021 bcs i just couldnt hack it out on my own and one of the biggest problems was that my apartment at the time didnt feel like a home and i just didnt have an eye for decorating but these videos have been so educational and i am DEFINITELY gonna make good use of all the notes ive been taking for when im ready to go back out there, so thanks so much to all of you
Good news on the book which fills a gap. This is a loveable kitchen now. Thank you for the information but seeing your newest member of the team shine is really a plus.
Love that wallpaper! And the idea of transforming the hutch into a coffee station is brilliant. I love that your team always seems to be having such a good time, even though there's so much work to be done.
I get tired just looking at them.
I would love this!!! Our rental is from the 80s and ugh... My husband and I want a studio setting in the front, giving 2 bedrooms to our kids. You're giving me all kinds of ideas!
OMG YES NOTHING BEATS WAKING UP TO A NEW AG VIDEO 💗✨
Graham is the bomb! He is a fabulous craftsman that brings your ideas to life!
Omg im soo happy for all the New things coming to your channel and your business. Watching Graham work in his dedicated space was reaaly fun and the final result with the kitchen, phenomenal.
That is probably the most warm and inviting kitchen I have ever seen! And I'm buying your book!!!
What a transformation! So cozy and warm looking. And the appliance/ coffee hutch is so nice. Well done team AG!
I think the color Alexandra has in her own kitchen, that beautiful green, would work even better with wallpaper and all. Or that beautiful green hutch that was in the Milanote board originally
I agree. This colour choice didn’t seem right at all. 🤷♀️
Congratulations on your book!! I cant wait to have it as a coffee table book and point it out and say that I decorated my place thanks to her!
im SO happu i found your channel, i LOVE this kind of content but idk why i never found a channel that had only renovation and diy content like this, so this is a real find, im so so happy
Hello lovely Alexandra!!! Your work is amazing 👏!
Oh, those girls are so lucky, the kitchen turned out beautiful! Love the wallpaper !
What a wonderful transformation! The difference is stunning! Love how much room they appear to have now.
This has to be one of my favorite transformations.
That hutch is everything!!! Love your makeover! It's functional and aesthetic - the perfect combo!
Just wondered if there's additional chairs to sit on if the table is fully opened?
This is my all time favorite kitchen. It’s designed to really work when more than one person is cooking 👏👏👏
Obviously I pre-ordered the book when you announced it and saw that it shipped to Mexico. I'm soooo excited and extremely happy for you!!!
Ahhh thank you!!!!
one of my favorite aspects of your videos is that you do in depth explanations of workshopping (even though I have no skill with wood working at all lol). thank you for not gatekeeping diy ideas
Another amazing video!!! Thank you team AG!!!1
As well as style you added so much more function to this kitchen. Bravi Team AG!
Your makeovers just get better and better! 😍
🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦Morocco did it again🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦
❤️❤️❤️ Congratulations for your book❤️❤️❤️
INCREDIBLE! You opened up the space and provided so much more storage. Magic!!!
Build a mudroom in cabinetry stye
For hanging coats ,bags
A place to leave your shoes as you enter the hse
A bench to put on shoes
Shelves over the washing machine for washing soaps
A table to fold clothes maybe?
@@nurugizani3075 those are some very good ideas
I believe this is my favorite Team AG makeover. Beautiful and functional!
It looks amazing, I love everything about this transformation 😍 you guys did a great job as always 💪💪💪
I absolutely LOVE your designs Alexandra 💕 Congratulations on your new book, definitely will pre order a copy 😊
I love how you used the router to get some of those old world details! Fantastic!
The paint colour of the cabinets looks dirty with the white wall. Totally different styles and colours all mixed together. Sorry not my fav this week.
What a transformation! So much added storage. The only comment I would make is that I would have put another knob on the hutch's magnetic door for ease of use and visual balance.
Not loving this kitchen. Inspiration photos had deeper cabinet colors, and you did not follow her guide.
Also a tad disappointed that the hutch and cupboards weren't painted darker! The light blue is way to light to be seen as a colour...
Alexandra put a lot of color into the wallpaper wall. Leaves it more neutral for the renter to add her personal touches.
Incredible, immaculate, inspired. That wallpaper, that hutch, the lamp, the table and chairs... I loved absolutely everything.
Ceiling light = wow !
a huge diff- love the idea of converting a hutch for kitchen storage and coffee bar space.
Cottage core: my favorite design style!
Congratulations on your book! You are always hard working, down to earth and bubbly. I love to watch your videos. Keep them coming!!
Would you guys ever do a video on how you set up Graham's workshop areas and what tools, supplies, and work benches you invested in? I love seeing how creative people make functional work spaces and use it as inspiration for my own space. Thank you!
