Arguments are underway at the International Court of Justice, where more than 50 countries are asking the World Court to issue a nonbinding legal opinion against Israel's occupation of the West Bank, Jerusalem and Gaza since 1967. The request is separate from South Africa's genocide case against Israel at the ICJ. "Israel has been instrumentalizing the rules of international humanitarian law … to further its settler-colonial project in Palestine," says Ahmed Abofoul of the Palestinian human rights organization Al-Haq, which submitted an advisory opinion on the case. "I have no doubt that the court will decide that Israel's occupation is illegal," he says. We also discuss what comes after the ruling and Israeli society's reaction to the war.

They built missile depots and launch shafts under and in schools, kindergartens, hospitals, and mosques. They dug and constructed a 500km "terror metro" instead of building civil infrastructure. On October 7 they send over the border into Israel thousands of murderers that slaughter, burn babies alive, tear off limbs, rape, behead and kidnap.

Mr. Mansour's breakdown in this speech is a very good indicator of the faith lost in world nations to do the right thing, or anything for that matter. I wept with Mr. Mansour, I can only imagine how much of this gentleman's life has been consumed by the effects of Palestinian oppression. The last 4-months have proven there is little hope reaching the conscience of global governments who now seem to view social ethics and humanitarianism as impediments to the acquisition of money, power and international partnerships/allegiances.

Thank you for putting this into words. I was having difficulty expressing it. I cried as well… the knowing that the whole world is watching, yet not stopping it. The knowing that far too many are either dismissive or don’t care while the Palestinians are experiencing this terror and torture. I will never understand it as long as I live. I believe it is psychopathy or sociopathy. I’ve felt this way before… especially in regards to Iraq, but I feel even more pain over this… the absolute injustice of it. I think we are all just saturated with the endless wars that kill millions of innocent civilians everywhere and can not take anymore. 😢💔
