Love the sock pattern. I would be interested in it especially since I have never knit a partridge heel and the idea of a chunky top with a fingering weight foot is nice. I laughed about your potato harvest holiday. We always had our children help harvest our potatoes from the garden and they loved it. Thanks for sharing.
I love the idea of those socks! They may seem like an easy pattern for you but it's always nice for us non-designers to be able to enjoy simpler projects without having to figure out the stitch counts and everything 🥰 Thanks for taking the time to film this podcast even when you're so busy, it's always so nice to listen to you chat about your knitting and your life!
I think it's always nice to have a simple pattern from a designer you love and can rely on! The idea of chunky looking socks that you can fit in your boots sounds amazing, please release a pattern!
I feel the same about Halloween :) not easy with kids sometimes! About the socks, I think that a pattern is never too simple to be released, if you like it you should always release it and it will be special in its own simplicity! Sometimes it’s nice to get a pattern that is quite simple and not everyone is able or willing to figure out numbers by itself… :) so it’s always good!
I absolutely love the mending on your daughters pants, as well as what you did with the pillow ! I have the same wish to try not to waste old things and make some new treasures with it 🥰 thank you for sharing your work ❤️
I really enjoy your podcasts. You look very lovely with your hairstyle. I haven't made any of your patterns yet, but I do really like them. Right now I am sort of collecting sock patterns, so yes, I would be interested in your sock pattern. Take care and enjoy your fall. .
I love that sock and would definitely like to have a pattern for it! I find that chunky socks are always too big for my boots and think that sock would be perfect. Love your channel and your knitting!
How wonderful to teach children early about reusing, mending and upcycling! I think visible mending looks so cosy and cute and I'm glad it has become a bit of a trend.
So lovely to see all your wips.I had a busy Oct, apart from my birthday as I had 2 big mascots to make and the 2nd one was collected today. Also knitting a jersey from a soft teal merino wool for a client I am also teaching to knit ( she is also knitting a jersey along with me) Now I can take a small break as other work is waiting, but I moved a month ago and so many boxes not unpacked yet, but for now, just resting and catching up on sleep and knitting
Fun sock!! American here who doesn’t celebrate Halloween. We love fall and decorate with pumpkins and such but anything symbolizing death (skeletons) and Halloween we stay away from.
I love the idea of a chunky cuff with a finer knit sock, the look of chunky with boots but a sock that fits inside well. I do not have the ability to design things and even " simple" patterns are worth buying when I can;'t do it myself. I also find it awful that people steal design ideas but because they are more " known " get away with it as if they thought of it themselves .
Yes please to the sock pattern! And I’m very excited for the sweater too. Will it be written as a unisex pattern? Love your mending and embroidery - makes me want to pull out a bunch of stuff to work on.
Last time you told about the k2p2 festival... I said I had missed everything about it and I was sad I couldn't go because it was sold out but that I was determined to go: I have a ticket now!🎉 Looking forward to it and hope to meet you! 😊
I love the hairdo. Looks really beautiful! I would be interested in the sock pattern, since I have the same problem of not fitting in my shoes with thick socks.
Hey Laerke, thank you so much for your Video! I like your Sock idea and i would be interested in to knit it as well! ❤ I like Danmark, we where this sommer on the way back from Norway in Danmark for one night and I really wanna come again and spend more time there. Many greetings from Germany.
Hello Lærke, Gorgeous ideas on your needles! Don't worry about releasing at a later date, we will still love it 🥰 I knit my Røtur out of Plötulopi-- it is one of my favorite sweaters! Thanks for sharing your experience of knitting a strand of Manchelopis with mohair. Is it hard to unwind a single strand? I heard it was wound double stranded... warmly Uta
I'm American. I just look at Halloween as a celebration of autumn. It falls on the calendar, when leaves have reached their peak of color here. If I had kids, I'd make them a quick homemade costume, pick pumpkins, eat apple desserts, etc. Just an "I love fall" holiday. I don't get into the scary commercial stuff.
Absolutely release the pattern. Sorry, I’m guilty for adoring Halloween. My sister and brother and I always had such a great time back in the 50s and early 60s. And bring on the witches, skeletons, spiders (faux, please) and other creepy things. I really want to make that sweater you are wearing. Bought the pattern, but not sure my skills are equal to it.
Halloween like that sounds lovely! I would totally love it too if i grew up with it. But the way it is here i feel like it is just an excuse for the shops to make us buy more 🫠😂 Hope you can manage with the sweater 🤍
I agree with you on halloween, not our culture at all. A lot of people see it just like Mac Donald, KFC and many other foreign things trying to change our culture and way of life. It has to be restricted to children and young people who find there one more opportunity to enjoy life in a time where the weather is heading to winter and the news not always good.
Traditionally you can have single stitch colorwork going both ways. Bottom up is “lus” (lice) and top down is “loppe” (fleas). Nothing is wierd or upside down, It is just a stilistic choice. Don’t take knitting too seriously 😉
I don't suppose you have a tutorial for how you cut your long hair yourself? The way I've tried always turns out uneven - there must be a better way of doing it! The Halloween thing - I totally understand your irritation with it. Here in Scotland it is a tradition, but we used to call it 'guising', not 'trick or treating'. It was for one day only, not the whole of October! The best thing about it was thinking up and making our own costumes. We never, ever bought costumes, and people didn't decorate their houses. It's just another commercialised thing now, like everything else 🙄. (PS, we also (used to) call the October holidays the tatty holidays 🙂)
Love the sock with the chunky cuff. It's exactly the type of sock I've always wanted - chunky at the top and regular sock yarn for the rest.

Excited for the simple beginner sweater with videos! Although simple, it looks so lovely!
I think it's always nice to have a simple pattern from a designer you love and can rely on! The idea of chunky looking socks that you can fit in your boots sounds amazing, please release a pattern!
Absolutely love the combination of your sweater and the braided hair with the scarf 😍
I really love how the sock is coming along. I think it would be a great pattern to release!
I vote YES on the sock pattern! So lovely to spend some time with you!

Love the embroidered pillow and that little mug you’re drinking from!
I love the idea of the sock pattern as well as a nice simple children’s sweater.
Love the sock. It’s simple, practical, ingenious and I would definitely buy this pattern.
Love the sock and the beginner sweater 😍 have a lovely weekend!
I would like to purchase such a sock pattern to wear with my boots, for sure. Very practical and I like the style. I love your designs.
Thanks for a nice episode ❤

A very enjoyable listen.
Oh thank you for saying about pumpkin thread. I made some for my work. Next year I will do that
I love that sock and would definitely like to have a pattern for it! I find that chunky socks are always too big for my boots and think that sock would be perfect. Love your channel and your knitting!
Disclaimer, I have never knit socks, but the sock design seems so practical. I love the idea. I would use socks like that all the time

It’s such a delight to see you back!❤
I love your patterns. Your earthy vibe speaks to me. Those chunky socks are wonderful.
Always enjoy
I think that is a great idea for a sock. Please release it. Thank you for your podcast
I love the idea of the sock you are designing so I am hoping you will release it. I am also liking the look of the beginner friendly sweater!
I like your socks! I just bought short boots and those would look cute sticking out. ❤

Have you ever considered publishing a book of your patterns? I would buy it in a heartbeat!!!

God ide med sokkerne! Jeg kunne godt bruge en opskrift på dem, da jeg har samme udfordringer med støvler og sokker✨🤎
Can we have a conversation about the fact that your stitches are upside down when you knit top-down? So your fleas look really weird.

Hi,I love your sock design but the pattern is very pricey, not everybody can efford it.
How do you know it is expensive? 😅 it hasn’t been released yet
@@FiberTales I am not taking about this sock It was Var socks, mostly yours socks pattern are $8.50 , which is expensive
