Some thoughts. I absolutely love Cats, Wicker Man and Chippy. We haven't seen anything quite like these before and I think they serve the channel super well. I actually think the weakest is the first one - I know it's a visual callback to some 90s C4 presentation but it feels a little bland compared to the rest of the set.
The wickerman was probably one of if not the most frightening of films in it's era but the actors and actresses were all big names and the special effects no doubt speak more for themselves then the screenplay of the whole film,this said to recreate that film in the style of idents is more then a little worrying
I think you should do the BBC knowledge idents next. There aren't a lot I think but seeing as you did BBC choice I think It kinda makes sense to do the BBC knowledge ones too.
I think the Chippy ident rips off the 1982 Channel 4 "Space Squad" ident. Oh yeah, and the Space Station ident rips off the Channel 4 "Sci-Fi Weekend" ident too, as well, also.
Hello Adam, I have been a big fan of your channel for a long time and I think it would be good if you made a documentary about noedolekcin in video scaries relating to tv hijackings a bit . Just a suggestion, but I think that it would boost some views and subscribers.

The later ones did give a nod to pop culture in a way by putting in the dreadful Bingo Hall Lounge music heard in the charts these days. I don't like it I think it's the lazyest as the songwriting is often also crap and loopy loo lyrics and least purest form of electronic dance music next to Poo Step and later incarnations of Tech No. Give me back Disco up until mid 90s electronic dance music over today's anyday.

By the way, the first ident had a male announcer say: “Hold on a minute, this IS E4 isn’t it? It’s all looking a bit, err... a bit different.”

Speaking of the Wicker ident, Alton Towers (the resort in staffordshire, UK.) has the roller coaster by the same name, the Wicker Man.
i think the kabab ident shows elements of bbc 2 past (the kabab and fly zapper ident)
I prefer the 2001 logo as it’s unique, I am personally not a fan of the c4 corporate rebrand, I just think that the previous branding was unique
The "animals" and "cats" indents give me the suspicion that a furry is on the E4 ident creative team.
