Homebuyers who are looking are looking in Lakewood Ranch, and Sarasota are finding more budget-friendly options in Parrish.

If you are thinking of purchasing a new home in this area, have it inspected by a reputable inspection company, a lot of these houses are not being built up to the building code.
Having it inspected is the only way to go. You should NEVER buy a home without one. Thanks for sharing!

If you like the earthquake from CAT-D10 bulldozers, dump truck gates slamming, chain saws, smoke from brush pile fires, the unending staccato of nail guns and traffic jams in the middle of nowhere for years on end, then by all means move to Parrish, FL now. It might be a nice to live again someday. Somehow I doubt it.

They definitely are in a rural area. One of the reasons we left.
Half hour to the beach??? You can’t even get to the beach in a half hour from west Cortez Rd or Manatee Ave.
You can 100% make it to St. Pete beach in 30-35 minutes.
You totally missed Isles at Bayview, which is not Del Webb.

I grew up 45-hour from the Jersey Shore, and I never looked at it as “the beach not in my backyard”. I still consider it as having grown up there.
Also, Ft hamer, not hammer.
Hallandale beach Florida is better, beautiful beaches and restaurants and growing businesses and communities.
Two completely different worlds.

One would assume he means new, modern, lovely. No way to judge them educationally yet (if that’s a word 😂)
@@michaelvitale4029 Parrish is well established community. There are sub par schools in this area. Further South, say, Sarasota County you could get away with a blanket statement like that. Not North of Manatee River.

I'd love to move down there if I had the money. But what about any damage from Hurricane Ian?
We were very fortunate and had little to no damage from Ian.
We been very lucky for Manatee County with no real hurricanes in our county.
