Great video as usual Martin. I have started my t-shirt business very slowly. 2-3 t-shirts a week. In about 2 months by word of mouth only I now make average 30-50 per month. Really taking off by listening to what the customer wants and create the product. I make shirts for my model airplane club and work. I think I should be able to retire after 28 years in about 8-10 months. I'm having a bunch of fun!! Great DVD. Cheers.
Hey, Jeff, That's a great way to get custom with your Model Airplane club. Can you imagine how many other clubs are also out there and guess what? they all look on Ebay for stuff so if you want to increase your sales, tap in to other types of fanatic, collector, etc' and put the correct keywords in your titles of your ad's on Ebay and they will find your t shirts. Every niche has an army of people who love specialist t shirts.
Your story is quite inspirational, Martin. It demonstrates that even if things don't go smoothly at start up - perseverence is key. You also took the trouble to learn about taking your product to market as well as the nuts and bolts of making the product. Nice job.
Yes John, I learnt internet marketing but not to con people into instant wealth that everybody does. It's not really achievable for beginners but building a business like the t shirt biz is defiantly do-able for someone interested in doing so.

Looks like t-shirts sellers are coming to the end of the road on ebay. They are really ramping up the product identifiers nonsense. How an EAN number can be assigned to a custom t-shirt listing is beyond me?

I use Photoshop CS3 but Photoshop elements will do as well as the software that comes with the Silhouette Cameo for t shirt graphics.
