Good Job, Bob. I received mine and tried to put it together with the "pictures" that come with it instead of "instructions". Then I went looking at the video Televes says to view. That's just a video of unboxing and of no help. Your video did the trick. a good step-by-step assembly with comments. I thank you for making it. I'm sure it'll help more people as the antenna gets popular. Televes needs to pay you to make their videos. jh
I already have a Televes 2 antenna input agc preamp. I wonder if the amp could be bypassed. I put a metal roof on, and the huge outdoor antenna only has two openings on the north to grab a signal, so I need an attic antenna no longer than 3.5 feet if I replace the one in the attic. If I move it outside, I need the smallest, most artistic antenna possible. My current attic antenna is being supplemented with the MaxV, which is the only off the shelf antenna which is not a monstrosity. The infinity shape hangs at the vent level and looks like a family crest, like it belongs there. But I can see mounting this one 3feet below the roof top, hiding in the back behind the chimney. However, there may be cheaper similar antennas without the agc since I already have one, with 2 antenna input.
I ordered one of these a little while ago, and it went together great! Except... One of the reflector posts was a tiny bit too long, and I had to Dremel about 1/10th of an inch off it, before it would fit. So far, the antenna has been working flawlessly!

@@bcma9688 The newest Televes Ellipse Mix model is 148883. I just ordered one today from Lowe's. I currently have the Clear Stream 4V and it's great with UHF but the VHF stations are a little sketchy so far. So instead of buying a giant Televes antenna or a separate preamp and LTE filter, I decided to just get the Televes Ellipse Mix. It's going to be about 2 weeks before I can test it but I hope it's just what I need.
@@solson223 I just returned my clear stream max with mixed results. needed something stronger and not to bad on the eyes. this Ellipse model doesn't look like an eye soar compared to the larger ones. ordered mine today and should receive via fed x in a few days.
@@swiftraider759 I'd highly recommend at the moment. First I tested both the 4V and Ellipse on a lower (non permanent) portion of my roof over the last week. Both were near perfect quality and strength with UHF channels that are 28 miles from the towers. The big difference is the VHF. No matter how much I tweaked the positioning of the 4V antenna, I couldn't get more than the low 60s of signal quality and about 70 strength on ABC (VHF). I thought that would be good enough. It wasn't. There were constant glitches, pauses and and loss of video. ABC local was a no-go with that setup. Insert the Ellipse. Even before the preamp was powered on I was getting around 82 signal quality and mid 90s on strength. After powering on the preamp is was 100/100. The ellipse was definitely the way the go if you need better VHF reception. And.... I got it for $155 (pretax). The 4V was $118 (pretax) but would have needed a separate purchase preamp and LTE/5G filter to compete with the Ellipse, and honestly, it wouldn't have. The Ellipse is a superior antenna if directional is what you need.

Is it possible to buy a link dear sir.
I am leaning this way, based on some of their products.
Like to try this in the attic.
Great video how can I purchased direct from Televes
How does it do as far as reception?
So far so good, my strong stations 49 miles north are 90 to 100% signal quality.
On UHF band is excellent same for VHF Band.

Looking to order one of these. I may have missed it. Is there a link to ordering this specific model?
Or specific model info?

There simply isn’t enough noise during unpacking, Bob...perhaps you could turn it up a notch? ( just joshing! ) Nice video!
I didn't even notice the noise, sorry. Always something going on
