It was fantastic to see where Elvis performs and where Barry Manilow performs today. It is great that they haven't touched it only took the tables out and made it into a real theatre settings. Loved seeing it from Barry's view.
Nick, that was absolutely FANtastic. To be able to walk, and be where the legend was must have been so amazing. I loved the old pics interspersed with the present. It's sobering to realize he has been gone longer than he was on this Earth. I'm so happy that you had a dream come true, thanks to your escort. Elvis was an amazing performer. Thank you for sharing this with us. 👏 👏👏🤗
Fun and interesting to view back stage and the history of one of the greats, if not the greatest entertainer of all time. Nice to see your enthusiasm, looks like a special time for you😀. Thanks for sharing, c u on the next one✅
Just watched this now, and I felt it just watching your video, must have felt unreal to have stood there centre stage where it all happened. Thank you for sharing your video and enthusiasm.
I remember when me and my mom went to Graceland and we watched that's the way it is I love that film so did my mom as soon as we got home I went out and brought it on DVD well done with this video really enjoyed it wow nice one 👍
Just ran across your 2 videos on this. We were in Vegas last year (summer 2022) and you got the little "tour" we were hoping to get! We are huge Elvis fans and I asked to see the theatre/stage but they told us Barry M. was rehearsing at that time! Your video was super and scratched the itch! Thanks for posting this!
So glad you enjoyed it!! And really sorry to hear you weren’t able to make it back stage. But try next time if you go again! I’m sure it was just bad timing but maybe you’ll get lucky next go around. Thanks again 😎🤘
I stood outside the doors and looked through the door cracks down into the showroom 17 years ago. They still had the booths and the chandeliers, and then to have a pic outside those doors was the best evening. They were wooden doors too. Sad they've changed them. Still, i saw them before all the changes. Elvis will always be there regardless. Let's face it he must have paid for it to built with all the shows he did. They definitely made their money back from him for sure. And the colonel in the cascino, Elvis paid for that too!!! They should rename it after him!!!
I saw Elvis there 14 times and the showroom was so beautiful. Such a shame how they changed it. It was so glamorous when you walked in and saw all the chandeliers. It suited Elvis to a tee. So exciting!!! It breaks my heart to see how ordinary it is now. He was unbelievable!!! I have such great memories and two scarves.
That's awesome you were able to experience this as well! Sorry to hear about your photos that sucks. Glad you enjoyed this and thanks for watching! I have an entire ELVIS playlist on my channel if you're interested. Take care!
Nicely done! I have seen a few videos from other Elvis fans/friends highlighting these locations. You covered some other ground, as well, which was awesome. I was lucky to have stood on that stage, too, and wow. What a thrill. I would LOVE to see a video of the walkthrough area Elvis did in his awesome blue suit waving at and passing by employees having lunch or dinner. I assume that area was where you opened the doors and briefly showed the area where Elvis was wearing his brown suit? By the way...Did you set up a tour to see the downstairs/dressing room locations?
Thanks glad you enjoyed! They don’t really do official tours. When I was there I just went to the desk and asked. I was lucky the manager was working that day and took me around
Nick, awesome video. Question. Is the cafeteria that Elvis walked the halls and waved to workers at the International on the way to his dressing room still there or have the walls/big windows been covered? Thanks for a GREAT video!
This is just beyond cool Nick! I must ask, how did you get this tour? Where did you find Chris? Was he a manager? I would love to be able to do a quick walkthrough with him!
Thank you very much! The tour wasn’t easy lol. I was on a mission. I asked a security guard he wasn’t sure. I talked to two different desk clerks they weren’t sure. Finally the third desk I stopped at I told them what I wanted to do and they went to ask Chris who was a manager. Thankfully he was working that day and said he had some time so he’ll show me around. I was beyond thankful! 😎🤘
Wow, this is amazing. I thought that the entire hotel was long gone. Most hotels have about a ten-year life span in Vegas before they are imploded and something new goes up. Just knowing that place still exists makes me feel great.
I'd love to know how he was able to do all this as when I stayed at the hotel earlier this year they wouldn't even open the showroom doors for me to have a brief peek inside
If you’re referring to Elvis’ stage that I’m on in this video it’s on the first floor! When you walk in the main entrance pretty much walk straight to the back and the entrance of the showroom is through the doors 😎🤘
@@TravelswithNick Thank you very much❣️ We stayed at the Westgate in May for a billiards championship. While we were there I got an Elvis / Vegas tourist tee. Just saw the Elvis movie. When we go back I wanted to know where it was. 😎
It’s not really an open to the public thing. I had to ask and go through a few people. Then luckily manager was working that day and available and agreed to show me around

There’s a painting of @elvis at The Westgate at the welcome desk and it has a signature on it but it’s so hard to read
Oh I know which one you’re talking about! That’s a great painting!
Get on Chris, what a great fella.
Chris was great! Thanks for watching 😎🤘

I did this in September, none of my pics came out 😭 but I have the memories. Love your enthusiasm, that's exactly how I felt too TCB ⚡

I stayed at the hilton hotel 30 years ago and used to stand at the bar watching shows with out realising the history, I was a young man
Man that must’ve been something to see back then! Thanks for sharing 😎✌️
Very cool tcb baby

I know exactly where youre talking about! It might still be in another part of the building but I didn’t get to see that area. Thanks for watching!!

Elvis...
I'd love to know how he was able to do all this as when I stayed at the hotel earlier this year they wouldn't even open the showroom doors for me to have a brief peek inside
It was a bit of persistence and a bit of luck. Next time go to main check in desk and ask if a manager is there
@@TravelswithNick cheers, I might give it another go if I ever go back there
I’m trying to figure out who did the painting
That's the original stage man
It was certainly an experience. Thanks for checking out my channel! 😎🤘
Most of the people that filled those seats are all dead now. ENJOY & love while you can, it goes so fast.
Thanks for watching and checking out my channel!
Can anyone tell me which floor and where The International Showroom is located in the Westgate ? 😎

Angelina Jordan is having a concert there on 29th on Thursday 7 and 9pm ;3
Thanks for watching!
Tours Monday through Thursday 10 bucks They would be surprised how many thousands of people would do this
That would be awesome haha and I totally agree so many people would!
Can anyone go there or did you have to pay for an Elvis experience or something?
