Instagram - AdamTheWooATW I really enjoyed this experience and was glad I was able to go backstage and listen to David Stanley. Standing in the dressing room and backstage and being in the stage was incredible as an Elvis fan
🎶I'll have a blue Christmas without you, I'll be so blue just thinking about you, decorations of red on a green Christmas tree won't be the same dear, if you're not here with me, and when those blue snowflakes start falling, that's when those blue memories start calling, you'll be doing all right, with your Christmas of white, but I'll have a blue blue blue blue Christmas, you'll be doing all right, with your Christmas of white, but I'll have a blue blue blue blue Christmas, you'll be doing all right, with your Christmas of white, but I'll have a blue blue blue blue Christmas.🎶 R.i.p to the king thank you thank you very much
Aloha from Hawaii - American Trilogy is my favorite Elvis performance as well, Adam. Nothing else like it. Hard to pick just one, but it’s also my favorite song. 🥰
Hi Adam. I saw Elvis when I was 14 years old at the international Hilton and that was in 1970 when he recorded his live album. It was a dream come true for me. It was for my 14th birthday. My parents bought me the ticket and at that time they had dinner shows so we ate dinner and then after we were done with dinner, he came out on stage and did a fantasticperformance. Thank you for sharing that interview with us today. It was great.
i am born on the 8th of januari, same as.................only it was '69. I also went to the Hilton. What a great film you made. As if I was there again. Still love Elvis.........I got to meet the band as I was a singer myself. Guided them through Amsterdam. Still have the pictures....I mean closer to Elvis I could'nt come. So.....thanks for this video. Ones an Elvis fan....always an Elvis fan. Greetings from holland
While David was doing his talk.. I literally forgot I was watching your vlog. Good on you, to leave most of that in.. & you got a great Q&A in as well 👍
Thank you for this upload Adam! I have been a huge fan of Elvis since I was about 4. I love seeing these different tours and places where Elvis was present. I got to see Elvis & Priscilla’ honeymoon home in Palm Springs several years ago. One day I’ll see his home in Graceland ❤
*Holy Moly !* You have done some very cool things, but that takes the cake. That is amazing that the stage and room are more or less as they were, and you got to see the dressing room and meet Elvis' step brother. What a great guide you had ( a snappy dresser ! ) and that private meeting on the stage was fantastic. Thanks for keeping your camera rolling. A sad end for The King. I hope if you make it to Germany you can get to stay in Elvis' apartment that he used during his miltiary service like Mike ( The GIV ) did. Greetings from Prague.
Thanks adam for this great video...elvis was a big part of my childhood..my mom took me to see him live in 1975 in cleveland and we even sat outside graceland in 1976.never saw him come out of graceland but it was a memorable moment ill never forget....thank you so much ..
Wow, major flashback!! I was married in that chapel back in 1988. Except it was across the street in the Hacienda Resort parking lot, which is now the Mandalay Bay. I got a little melancholy seeing that! Thanks Adam!
My husband and I got married at Little Church of the West 36 years ago. It used to be located across the street in The Hacienda Hotel parking lot. Thanks for sharing it, it’s been a long time since we’ve seen it. It still looks exactly the same.
Hi! I was on this exact tour and I see myself in your video! I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and was a little overwhelmed at being able to be on that stage, tour the backstage area and interact with David. I was the lady who asked if Elvis had bone cancer and also if he’s still close to any of the family ( not in your TH-cam video). Thanks for posting this!
I remember at age 15 being at the 8:00 Dinner show in August of 1970 and was Amazed at how wonderful the show was. I recall Elvis sweating and guzzling bottles of a new drink called Gatorade which he says was "so good". And yes, the food was Great also.
That was awesome. Heading to viva Las Vegas over Christmas to be with my cousins, but I think i really need to check this out. I loved Elvis and his music. I was born in the 60s but Elvis was one heck of a entertainer
That was just awesome listening to that man talk. When I was a kid we had tickets to see Elvis. I loved him when I was a child. Never made it to see him because he passed away.
Thank you Adam for leaving the session with his step brother in. Fascinating to hear his stories. Now I'd like to see the Priscilla movie. The Hawaii concert is my favorite & the American Trilogy is just so good. I never get tired of his music. This wa s definitely not to long. Loved it all. Safe travels.
Thank You sooo much for taking us on this Elvis adventure. My brother was such a big Elvis fan & he would of loved to of gone on this tour in Vegas of Elvis. He never made it to Vegas , yet he always made it to Memphis for the anniversary celebration in August . I got to go a couple times to Memphis & visit all the Elvis places & Graceland. What a wonderful trip!! I really like Elvis too!! My brother has been gone almost two years now , but all his Elvis memories live on with me. Thank You for keeping these memories alive!! ❤❤❤❤ My brother was also the one who introduced me to me to your videos!! I am sooo glad he did !!! ❤❤❤
Love this vlog! I am a big Elvis fan. So interesting! Thank you Adam. You are so right about his Hawaii concert. I get goosebumps just thinking about it. ❤
This was very enjoyable and you could see that elvis step brother still gets upsets to this day chatting about his brother. I am glad you left it all in as it was very enjoyable thank you adam
You and your buddies Micah and Jordan the Lion always cover Elvis in amazing and unique ways. Whenever the 3 of you do Elvis content I know it’s going to be a good vlog
VEGAS, is so exciting,,,Great shows, Hotels.🍹 and Great Restaurants!!..So Much to do and see...but, 4 days there is enough....ding...ding..ding..at the Casino's....gotta win!!! $$$$ Loved your Elvis Tour, Missed it. we went to Liberace home tour, and the Hoover Dam Tour. and oh yes Fremont St. those light shows are the best!!
In 1976, My Mom was thinking about seeing Elvis in Vegas, but I guess couldn’t afford it at the time, so figured, there’s always next year. Elvis died in August, 1977. My Mom never got to see him live, and always regretted not going. 😔
Thank you for telling us about the Elvis in Hawaii , I had not seen it before, very good. I think if you are in the certain age group you will always remember where you were when they announced his death. So sad.
Fantastic video!! Was born in '77. Obviously never a chance to witness the king live, but his legacy lives on. One of the best entertainers. Big big Elvis fan and appreciate Adam keeping all the footage. I was glued to the TV.
Yayyy! I was hoping you would visit Elvis’s hotel. I’m glad you decided not to stay in Seattle as we experienced a bad bomb cyclone and most of the eastside lost all power since Tuesday evening. We just got power back 1AM this morning (Friday). Some areas are still without power.
I'm SO happy you left that footage with David in....my mother LOVED Elvis. Growing up his music was in our house constantly. She saw him in concert once and there's a story there but I'll refrain...the point is...my entire childhood Elvis was like a family member in our household. We celebrated his birthday, every magazine that featured him, every book, every album, my mom had it (if she could afford it). When he died she wasn't ok. It was intense. If you were around when he first emerged it's likely a phenomenon that is just so unexplained. Lisa Marie once said...he was Elvis all the time...he wasn't a push button actor. He was electrifying 24/7. He himself really struggled with why he was that way...that God must have gave him this gift for a bigger purpose than this, but why and how was he supposed to use it. I think this is why he was so generous, taking care of whoever he could in meaningful ways. This was such a gift to get to see, thank you Adam. My mom passed away in 2010...I hope she's in heaven dancing with Elvis.
I stayed at the Hilton several times. I don't remember Elvis memorabilia and tour like this (over 10 yrs ago) but I was there for Star Trek Experience. I saw Smothers Brothers, and the Fab Four, in that theater. Thank you for sharing; great video. I know I'd never get to see all this, otherwise.
Thank you Adam for this video I watch every one of your videos for a few years but this is my first comment. I’m 36 and Elvis has been (for 25 years) and always will be one of my inspirations and idols, so to see the stage and hear MORE of the stories that I’ve not heard before means a lot. So thank you, thank you very much! Uhuhuh 🕺🤴 Long Live the true King.
Thank you for this one Adam! This was a special episode. Thank you for sharing his step brother’s interview. I too love that cut of Elvis performing American Trilogy in Hawaii.
GREAT 👍 vlog featuring the King 👑 of 🎸 Rock n’ Roll : Elvis Presley. Really cool 😎 locations and VIP tour at the Westgate with honest stories from Elvis’ younger brother. 🤩 Wow.
I love Elvis and really enjoyed this video. No wonder he was so worn out after doing that many shows. He gave the world so much and deserves to be in peace wherever he is. You should watch Billy the Spa Guy. He does a lot of Elvis research.
I remember watching Elvis on the Ed Sullivan Show, yep, I’m old! I saw Elvis at the Omni in Atlanta in the 70’s. It was magical being in the same building. I ❤️Elvis, and peanut butter, mayo & banana sandwiches on white bread. Thank you Adam for sharing this with us!
Hi Adam, very cool to be able to attend that tour. So interesting. Micah needs to do this tour . So, any Elvis vibes on stage when you stood where the king stood ? So so 😎.
My grandfather was friends with one of the owners of the International Casino during Elvis's run. I've seen pictures of my grandparents sitting in a booth watching one of Elvis's shows. Apparently they had went to several shows because they were in different clothes. My grandfather was an architect and had his hand in Designing and Building several of the original Vegas casinos. Great video Adam 👍🏻
Thank you so much, I loved Elvis so much , worked for two well-known Elvis imitators back in the day, thought I knew a lot , but was enlightened today. Thank you, Adam Thank you very much tcb
I never got into Elvis but still interesting to watch. I’m not sure I’ll ever get how much you get out and about and do Adam…you really are making the most of your life 😊 xxx
I kept thinking Elvis performed at the Hilton hotel. So I looked it up and I found out the International was later called the Hilton. I saw Elvis in Las Vegas in probably 1973. What a great show it was. ❤
I met Joe Esposito, Elvis's best friend about 25 years ago. I have met many other celebrities before but he was the only one I was nervous to talk to. Great guy!
