My God, I love that film. Saw it in the theatre back in '85. Yup, I'm old. Here when they were all standing around joking with each other, I got such a happy, nostalgic feeling. So happy they're all well and getting along.
Kerri Green was my childhood crush! She is still so beautiful and I believe she even got better looking with age. This whole cast is great, but Kerri is the one that stands out for me.
I was very young a few years after it came out and I saw a censored version…my brother and I watched it a lot. Still one of my favorites ever I loved watching this because it gave me closure…
@Bart Lee I think I admire Jeff Cohen the most. Because he probably had to gain weight for the role. Chunk didn't let them their picking on him stop him and he ended up rescuing all of them sorta. He no longer works as actor. He made a life for himself outside of acting and he's never gotten into any legal problems or drama from being a child actor. Good for him.
I loved this movie in the 80's and I'm 34 now and still watch it! I hope my Kids learn to appreciate it as much as I do. It's my all time favorite movie from the 80's!
Best quote of one of best movies ever made, (with the possible exception of “Hey you guys!” (R.I.P. SLOTH)), is: Data : “I'm setting booty traps.” Stef : “You mean booby traps?” Data : “THATS WHAT I SAID! BOOBY TRAPS!” I was in the Navy when it came out, and I’ve watched at least twice a year ever since! In fact, life simply wouldn’t be the same if it wasn’t for “The Goonies.”
I was like 5 when I saw this movie the first time. It taught me to love adventure and look for it in my life. I'm a skydiver that has been to the tops of snow covered peaks and love living the fullest life I can. It's silly to say a film decided how I live, but in a lot of ways...it did. I will forever be a goonie. Also, Keri is lovely as ever!
I loved this movie so much I shared it with my kids an they loved it also it took me back home to being a kid I was in my moms and dads living room with all my brothers love this movie!!!!!!!!!
One of my all time favorite films of all time! Loved it in the 80's, still love it now! Great seeing all of them back together, that was really nice to see :)
Recorded from tv on VHS..even though its on DVD now i sure wish I had that tape. Such good memories...me and my sis watches this a million times when we were kids. I'm 28 now and it seems like just yesterday
Omg! This is so awesome! This has made me so bloody happy. The Goonies was most defiantly one of my favourite childhood movies. I get all Nostalgic whenever I watch it and I defiantly think the movie has aged so very very well. Mouth was always my favourite character. They are all awesome, but i love mouth. "Goonies never say die!"
I know I almost cried when I saw this. I liked Mikey because he seemed really relatable. But I felt like they were all my friends even though I never saw it in the theater. I was only 5. So I probably didn’t see this until I was like 8 or something. I still have the Nintendo game. I can’t beat it without game genie because I can never find the speed shoes. A friend of mine has still never seen it and I really wish I could send it to him because I really think he had a deprived childhood for not seeing it. Lol
@@vinnievanwham82 yeah my childhood was pretty good...I guess...then the 90s got messy. Someone taped it for me and they took out a lot in the censored version they put on t.v. I wouldn’t want to want to go back now. Even though I like 80s music videos more than the current stuff. I miss the days before all of the social media crap and webcams I hate those things. I only use them with people I really know Irl. I only do LinkedIn and write comments on here and I have a blog. I almost stopped doing it because some people said some awful things to me. I was depressed for a week.
@@cmrwrite Same i deleted my Facebook account because i kept getting into arguments with my relatives. I can't be bothered with crap like that. When life gets me down i watch a great 80s movie eg: The goonies, Gremlins, Legend, Labrinth, Uncle buck, Trains, plains and automobiles etc: and I'm emediately back in the 80s and in a better frame of mind. 😊
@@vinnievanwham82 I haven’t seen Legend or Uncle Buck yet. I don’t remember gremlins much I think i thought it was kinda scary. I loved John Candy so I want to try to see all his movies. Only the good die young.
Me and my brother and sisters would watch Goonies every weekend when I was a kid. Went swimmin at the local pool, it'd always start to rain. So we made homemade nachos, and rented Goonies. Must've seen it at least 75 times. Growin up in the 80's was great, back when life made sense. And I'd always had a crush on Kerri. She still looks great. Thanks for all the memories, Kerri Green...:) And God bless.
omg they gotta GOTTA make a new Goonies .............. when I was a kid, 15 or 16, this was such an amazing movie and it really gave me so much emotional, joy and sense of adventure.
LXnavarro23 yeah she's still sexy. And I love that her voice is exactly the same. When she started speaking, it sounded like she was back on the Goonies' set.
Millie Gravelpitt its all about the directors imagination. If theare is a great skrip, then we can see new beloved characters. All the new movies problems caused by the directors fault.
Watching it reminds me of when I was a kid growing up in the 70’s and 80’s out in the country riding our bycycles looking for a adventure or treasures.
Video quality is beyond great but it does make me nostalgic for the good ol' days of crisp VHS where I could really tell a human face from a vague blur. The indistinct blob that comprises the group shot makes me nostalgic for what I assume are the original actors who played the Goonies and not just a spill of mannequins, but really it's anyone's guess. Never say die, Umpire Magazine!
Richard Donner was such an amazing director and seems such a lovely guy the Goonies and Scrooged will forever be my favourite films rest easy Dick Donner ❤️❤️
Here I am. That wasn't my skeleton. They deleted my scene where I faked my death and hid on ole' One Eye's ship and rode it out into the sea. And now I've finally got WiFi on this damned thing!
awesome that the guy who played chunk ( Jeff Cohen ) is think and looks soo different but probally always gets asked to do the truffle shuffle... the entire cast has aged ...but its nice that they never forgot how awesome this movie was and still is.
One thing I love about how things have changed, the actor who played chunk got skinny, mean while Sean Astin, the lead goonie, went on to play the "stupid fat hobbit" Sam Gamgee in the lord of the rings. One of life's little ironies.
Me and still oldboy is worst and the sex scene was horrible and smoking too Elizabeth Olsen did she can't smoke because lung cancer and dying 👿👿👿👿👿👿👿👿👿👿👿👿😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤
Came here after Ke Huy Quan won Oscar's Best Supporting Actor 2023. He's still Data. He never aged!
Good for him I didn’t know 🎉

Yup I’m old too but I didn’t see it in theater saw a censored version on tv a few years later
As a 12 yo who watched this back in 85...Goonies never die
smokeybirdman that's why Cory Feldman is still around he lived a hard troubled life but darn it he's a goonie and goonies die hard...
Watch your back now
Kerri Green was my childhood crush! She is still so beautiful and I believe she even got better looking with age. This whole cast is great, but Kerri is the one that stands out for me.

More than any other film ever made The Goonies encapsulated the childhood dream of adventure
I couldn’t agree more
You can tell how much fun this must have been for all of them,
I loved The Gonnies best 80s flick ever and I love the gonnies 80s rocked even the music was great too! Classic movie
Out of all of them, Jeff Cohen has changed the most.
You kidding did you not see Chuck.
No shit
Its so awesome to see them grown up and still so proud of making this iconic movie. Love It!!!
I loved this movie in the 80's and I'm 34 now and still watch it! I hope my Kids learn to appreciate it as much as I do. It's my all time favorite movie from the 80's!
Is that Short Round from Indiana Jones?
"You call him Doctor Jones lady"
jorgensenmj
"...Dr Jones doll"
Yes it’s Short Round
He didn't just unleash The Goonies on the world, but he made us believe a man could fly with Superman! RIP Richard Donner.
It's good to see all the Goonies Reunion here. When I was a kid, I kept watching the movies of my heart.
LOL I love Josh at 2:53 saying it was corey who was the hardest to control and his reaction. lmao I believe it.

Watching this, I almost felt a tear in the corner of my eye. Nostalgia!
Have to admit...teared up a little when they all yelled, "Goonies never say die!" lol, still today one of my absolute favorites!
2:00 when Andy started talking her voice took me way back. She still sounds that same
They still have great chemistry even though they don't keep in contact. 8 years since they last seen eachother.
Lol Data's voice hasn't changed much haha
Intimate Flow Neither has the blonde girl's voice.
Lol! I remember how annoying he was as Short-Round!
Josh Brolin just got even hotter as time went on!
Well men do age better than women.
4:10 Makes me LOL with Irony! Andy was the one who said "I'm not a Goonie! I wanna go home!" And here she is calling out Martha about saying Die!
The chemistry with this cast is a very rare & beautiful thing😊
everyone looking good can't believe I was 5 I feel old😆😆😆
" 3:40 " Totally,, Totally,, True !!!!! Every time I watch it.... Thankyou,, " Thankyou " Goonies for making my Childhood Grand ......
Goonies for life! Just watched on Tubi Soo nostalgic.
Data sounds the same...hahaha
He does a little but he's also the image double of Jackie Chan!! It's incredible! I bet people confuse him for Jackie on the streets
Dr. Jones, Dr. Jones
omg they gotta GOTTA make a new Goonies .............. when I was a kid, 15 or 16, this was such an amazing movie and it really gave me so much emotional, joy and sense of adventure.

LXnavarro23 yeah she's still sexy. And I love that her voice is exactly the same. When she started speaking, it sounded like she was back on the Goonies' set.
LXnavarro23 hell yeah! Always had a crush on her! She was hot in the movie "Lucas" too with Corey haim (Cory feldmans friend)👍🏻
Me too, she was so pretty and beautiful.
What are you waiting for? Give us a sequel!
there is going to be a sequel cuz Richard donner wants the orignal cast that is still alive to be in it
pheanix69 Really? Oh man, thats a good news. I wish to be carefull with this movie.
I agree, but man...it would be hard to do without Sloth and Mama Fratelli, since they are ded.
Millie Gravelpitt its all about the directors imagination. If theare is a great skrip, then we can see new beloved characters. All the new movies problems caused by the directors fault.
Kerri Green who played Andy......GOD SHE STILL LOOKS AS GOOD AS SHE DID ON THE MOVIE :-)
I was 3 years on 1986 but i lived the later 80s and remember well that era and i love this movie, it Will just be more loved each year ,
Shame, that Corey Fieldman was molested. :(
This movie was the first VHS I was Bought watched it a lot as a teen in the 80s!
goonies never die !!
@Fanik8 Born in 77 too. I can still remember going to see it at the movie theater.
This movie was a part of my young life. Please Steve...... do it again.....
That was fun to watch. Such a great movie. Will always be one of my favorites.
Watching it reminds me of when I was a kid growing up in the 70’s and 80’s out in the country riding our bycycles looking for a adventure or treasures.
I remember being pissed that they cut Sean off in the middle of his thought on Cyndi Lauper in the commentary! So glad it's put to rest. Ha!
Huge flash back.....I am back at the 80s and I am still a teen...(why cant I just stay there???)
DO THE TRUFFLE SHUFFLE!
I love this movie, and so do my kids.
I met Sean astin last year, what a doll!
One of the best movies ever. They should re-release it in theatres.

Dr. Jones!! Dr. Jones!!
Pre-Thanos family reunion chill vibe
There all the same but older! I hope they reunite again x
With Ghostbusters 3 being made next year, I guess there's always hope for a Goonies sequel...
Martha Plimpton's career is going pretty well with Raising Hope. She's been nominated for several awards for that show.
For an official channel, the quality is not the best...
240p is rediculous! I'm sure at least they could have used 720p!
Michael Tsang Definitely! (And again, this appears to be an official channel, not someone uploading footage they took off somewhere.)
OreoBunny123 yes i know, so no excuse not to upload at higher resolution. I could barely make out the actors lol
240. horrible
DoubleTap DMR such a enormous cast Steven Spielberg and you shoot it in low-quality
this was my favorite as a child and now my child watches it like all the time
I cant stop smiling watching this, wish it was longer...I read the full interview , it was great, funny that Spielberg wasn't in the video much.
Richard Donner was such an amazing director and seems such a lovely guy the Goonies and Scrooged will forever be my favourite films rest easy Dick Donner ❤️❤️
very nice! made me smile :) Their memories are our memories.
Where's Chester Copperpot?
His skeleton is still lying in a cave somewhere.
Here I am. That wasn't my skeleton. They deleted my scene where I faked my death and hid on ole' One Eye's ship and rode it out into the sea. And now I've finally got WiFi on this damned thing!
Whaleski 1901 still looking for willy...
Stuck in a copper pot
just watched it again... my mom and wife got worked up so much with the movie that they started with their own treasure stories
Damm, they made me cry!! You made me the adult I am, thk you Goonies!!

i like the goonies movie and the sound track "good enough" by cindy lauper
Please please please no reboot. It will never be as good as the original. It makes me so happy to watch every year. 418

"It sucked. C'mon it sucked" haha I love Chunk!
Loved the film as a kid. Watched it again yesterday, still love it but geez i did not realize how many upskirts andy had.
Also totally forgot Cyndi Lauper did the soundtrack
LOVE IT! Watched it today.. Totally fealt like I was 5 years old again. Chunk looks totally different
Now, that you mention it i think I remember hearing about that, may he rest in peace.
Martha plimpton she’s awesome man
Josh Brolin’s voice has changed completely. It’s really deep now with a southern drawl. Strange.
I bet all those dude couldn't stop thinking about how hot Kerri became
Became?? She was hot back then too!
Well she's actually beautiful 😍
Definitely a Classic !!
Great kids movie
All kids should watch this movie
