Surrounded by all the top influencers in the uk and still can’t perform simple exercises with even slightly decent form, get the finger out jack mate it’s been about 8 months now
It's the same as when people slow down as they pass a wreck in the motorway. People are fascinated by the tragic. This guy is doomed to never gain an ounce of muscle, due to his lack of willingness to do the minimum required to make progress. Eat.
Hey jack just a quick tip don't do cardio before ur workouts as u won't be able to lift as much or do as many reps since u are pre fatiguing ur muscles and it will take away some of ur energy (glycogen).
It's not a marathon, 15 mins of easy running as a warm up isn't going to massively impact anything. In fact you often perform much better when you have got the blood pumping a little bit.
People will really do anything to avoid cardio It's just a 15 minute jog you aren't gonna lose any gains Although in all fairness after would be better in the sense of fatigue but it's only a jog
If you’re doing cardio, and you’re burning calories while bulking. Make sure to rebound on a huge meal at the end of the day. A 2000 calorie meal if you will.
you burn more calories during lifting than during cardio... that doesn't mean you should stop lifting whilst bulking does it? 20 min cardio only roughly burns 200 calories, that won't affect your bulk. jack is simply trying to work on his cardiovascular health, but if i was to advise him i would say do cardio either 2-3 hours before or after training or on a rest day as research shows that intensive cardio just before or after training can slow down your muscle growth.
@@szy5414 you’re proving my point, cardio and weight lifting combined when you’re the size of a twig trying to bulk up isn’t good. You’re burning 200 calories with cardio and burning 350-400 calories weight lifting. You gotta pick one when you’re bulking. That combined is 600-700 calories. And tbh, I’ve seen this guys TikTok’s his bulk isn’t that much. He’s only eating 2500 - 3000 calories.
@@smokey12242bull shit mate, when I was bulking I was swimming weightlifting and running and cycling and fighting at the same time, I just accounted for the cardio I was doing still being in a calorie surplus
I wasn't a huge fan of back days either until I started using thumbless/open grip on nearly all back exercises. It made a huge difference especially for lat pulldown, pull ups and seated rows. You get less forearm and bicep activation, which allows your back to do more work. It might also help to pull your shoulders back and imagine pulling the weight with your elbows if you're having a hard time getting your lats to fire up. Looking forward to seeing you progress even more!
@@josesantos-nh1er My form wasn't great for the first 6 months or so, but I still made good progress (especially with newbie gains) Now my form is much better and I'm still making progress, and I enjoy back a lot more now
Just some advice: 1. If your going to do cardio, do it after your workout so that you have more energy during the workout, especially if you don’t particularly enjoy the split day. 2. Learn to love training back. I used to hate back and now it’s up there with chest day. 3. Try to increase the weight slightly so that you are closer to failure when u finish. 4. I personally found a ppl split to have too much volume per split to effectively train each muscle so I would recommend doing a split like this (if u go consistent enough as it is a 4 day split). This will help u find time to train ur arms more on ppl as u only did 1 bicep exercise. 1. Chest and Side delts (and shoulder press if u want) 2. Back and rear delts 3. Arms 4. Legs Hope it helps, looking big king
you gotta do triceps on chest day imo because they are hit in basically every chest exercise, and for shoulders i train them on both chest and triceps day and back and bicep since i don't do them on back to back days.
I appreciate your effort, but I notice that when you usually perform the last repetition (for example 0:38), you regularly perform only half of it because you let it drop during the negative part. Always consider the whole of repetition, because that also has its share - you also train mentally this way by focusing on the quality rather than on the quantity. Be patient and good luck!
Frick the form haters... You in the gym lifting some kg's about. I cant wait to see you in 5 years buff as fuck. Whilst I'm still here with my beer belly and a multi gym collecting dust. Inspire another skinny dude man! Keep at it!!
Awww man jack! I hate to hear you don’t enjoy training back, it’s legit my favorite muscle group, but i love to do rows, and pull ups, that’s all i do in fact, when i used to not be able to do pullups i remember back wasnt as fun
My guy you've gotta increase the weights on those machines. You're making it look too easy lol. Keep grinding brother! And never let yourself get comfortable with a weight
Good video Jack, as others suggest as you are set on doing running, you should probably do it after the weight training and make sure you eat a ton afterwards.
I don't want you to get me wrong because you doing fantastic job, but I think you should drop weights a bit and focus on your technique. Not only you get better gains, but also if you focus to much on weights before perfection your technique in future it's possible is gonna lead to potential injures. A part from that keep going, great job 👍
Great Advices. I recently joined I almost look like this guy. I am just confused how much weight is he pulling in the lat pull down? its 20kg right? I started lat pull down and even 10-15kg was hard in the beginning. It’s my fourth week and now I can do 20kg with good form. I am trying to progressive overload with correct form slowly. Any advice on progressive overload safely without getting injured?
Brother I get where you’re coming from. I’m 6’4” and was really skinny out of high school. Eating big was the most important thing. I know you already know that, but I just wanna tell you that if you stick to a reasonable surplus, the eating does actually get easier.

I don't think he should do cardio because he is trying to gain weight instead of burning calories. I think he needs to increase his calorie intake. Regardless, he's going to burn calories lifting weights. But again, this is just my opinion. He has to do what he has to do. Keep pushing buddy!!!
Hey jack! Recently started watching your videos. I was just curious to know what your diet was like, do you eat eggs or anything? I’d definitely recommend them as they have lots of protein and calories, and maybe try some premier protein drinks if able. Keep up the good work!!
Jack I think you are mistaking hate for help. Yes there will be some haters, always is with social media, but there are a lot of useful comments too. You need to decide what you want to prioritise- getter bigger or getting better at running, because it is very difficult to do both, and be good at both especially this early on. If you want to get bigger, you should do the weights first and finish with cardio. If you are intent on running, you need to make sure you are eating even more otherwise you won’t be in a calorie surplus in order to grow! What about a different form of cardio if you want to work on stamina? Cycling? That is low impact and a lot less harmful to gains.
1 bicep exercise? If you want more growth do at least 3 bicep exercises, 2 sets till faliure, good form and heavy weight. Bicep curls, inlcine curls and preacher curls helped me 🔥

You will never grow muscle unless you eat. You could literally just eat more without training at all, and in a few months come back to the gym and you'd have gained more strength on all the exercises than you have by training this entire time and not eating enough to grow.
