When this video was released, I just came home from a cruise with my family and got extremely sick in the process. This video helped me get through the sickness I was dealing with as I was lying in my bed, dying. I’ve been watching you ever since you started your channel. So thank you for the content! Keep up the good work!
The fact that Raph loves Kirby to point of nerd rage, is too good And that he stabbed a Sai through an older model TV, from the '90s - those things have some thick glass
It helps that Kirby has the ninja ability (in which, he uses in the anime) and The Next Mutation (the cancelled movie, not the awful live-action show) was going to introduced Kirby the 5th turtle
That He-Man Crossover sounds amazing. If nothing more than to see Skeletor and Shredder fighting side-by-side. I was literally thinking the DreamWorks She-Ra show could actually pull-off a crossover before the segment came up. The art styles are very compatible!
Pigpen is my savior. TMNT is probably one of my favorite franchises and there is so little content about in on yt imo. Pigpen once again delivers a goated video

But wonderful video otherwise, a few nitpicks would be a lot of the characters first appeared in the toy line over the cartoon and for the Next Mutation you said Shredder was "killed off" but then mention his return later on. (He was just like mind wiped by Venus's magic initially.)
TMNT 2012 was my introduction to TMNT. I’ve been a fan (shellhead? lol) ever since. I’ve only watched the 2003 version so far. But I want to watch all the adaptations eventually. Overall, I love the franchise as a whole. I’ve been hoping to get into the comics at some point, but I have no idea where to start.

amazing work dude, this ice berg was great. I hope that you eventually come back to tmnt since there were some things you didn't touch in this one. I hope your break helps and I can't wait to see the DCEU iceberg.
1:32:45 Raph being a fan of Kirby Right Back at Ya makes a lot of scenes, Kirby has a ninja ability and The Next Mutation (the cancelled movie at 21:29, not the terrible show) was going to introduced a 5th turtle named Kirby.
It's wild how literally all of the other actors considered for April in the reboot would have been better suited for the role than Megan Fox, imo. Wild.
The Foot Clan prequel series pitch wasn’t the only time Eric Robles almost worked on a TMNT property. The series he was a showrunner for, Glitch Techs, was going to have a crossover of sorts with the TMNT before that episode got scrapped. It got far into production where there’s voiced animatics, with Shredder being voiced by Kevin Eastman himself.
Great video. Way to sum up 40 years of TMNT. I really enjoyed the things I forgot about when I was little like the Rock concerts and the Oprah appearance. I also enjoyed learning about new things like canceled live action movies and the female turtles.
Just a few more: Ceberus Crossover, Usagi crossover and Fugitoid Crossover beign canon, Mirage Comics Last days of the TMNT Tales of the TMNT Souls Winter Panda Khan Tmnt: Oddysey
What's funny is that while the '87 cartoon was known as Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles, when the 90's TMNT movie was released internationally, it still retained the actual title, hints of a supposed change to the international release were found elsewhere including on a Japanese release of the film, the credits song in the international release having the word Ninja replaced with Hero, and gallery images in the Hong Kong DVD release of the film showing scanned versions of the lobby cards with the altered name. These types of hints including the fact that the UK version had Mikey's nunchucks covered in darkness indicated that this was being worked on but for whatever reason never made it in the UK release.
I was confused as to why you censored the concept art for "Evil April", but now I see why. I'm sure that was an early idea and it was dropped quickly, but I didn't know there's an official piece of concept art from The Jim Henson Company where April has her chest basically exposed.
Yeah that would’ve made more sense. Since the first two Jurassic Park films came out around then, maybe they were inspired by the raptors in those movies?
Have a happy new year pigpen! I always enjoy your content, and i hope you see continued success into 2024. TMNT has always been a franchise I've barely engaged with much but seems like something I'd really enjoy.
Yes, the 2014 tmnt movie wanted to beat the audience over the head with the fact that Megan fox is attractive every chance it got. The sequel did it as well.
Although I remember the TMNT cartoon from when I was younger, I never got hooked on the show like some of my friends did. He-man and Thundercats were more my thing (Heh hum) Though the recent movies weren't fantastic, I still enjoyed them. This has been really interesting and you make it so fun. Have an amazing New Year.
Something I found amusing about Coming Out of Our Shells is that April is played by Sherie Rene Scott, who would later become a talented big Broadway actor (seriously, listen to My Strongest Suit from Aida, it’s a bop). It’s funny how the TMNT rock show is how she got her start. Also I’m so happy the cancelled Hallmark movie was mentioned. I can never find anyone talking about that. So funny how the people who are mainly known for doing cheesy Christmas movies almost did the Turtles.
2 minutes in, I'm already upset😭. So close to getting an interesting storyline for Mikey and then not 💔. I wish they would focus more on all 4 brothers instead of just Leo and a bit of Raph.

That part about April kills me. The cut to the two kids in the audience is hilarious and perfectly timed.

26:04 I hate to be such a nerd, but the 2012 series was NOT Pizza Face's first appearance. It was his first on TV, but not as a whole. Pizza Face was a character in the 1988 toyline, where he was described as Shredder's chef, who wanted to become "the most powerful pizza chef ever". To do this, he put himself in his "retromutagen oven" but the turtles came in time to pull him out in the middle of the process. This turned him into a "half baked" monstrosity who vows vengeance against the turtles, wanting to turn them into pizza toppings.
The 88 toyline was fucking hardcore.
Lol that's dope
I wish TMNT would adapt former toy exclusive characters more often
I swore he made some kind of appearance in the original 87 cartoon, or maybe there was just an evil pizza chef henchmen and my brain just crossed the two

A Weird Villain iceberg, tho... Now that would be something!
Yesss I’ve been looking forward to this one
Ending on a bigger bang than any fireworks tonight thanks for the hella goof work as always 🎉🎉
1:32:45 Raph being a fan of Kirby Right Back at Ya makes a lot of scenes, Kirby has a ninja ability and The Next Mutation (the cancelled movie at 21:29, not the terrible show) was going to introduced a 5th turtle named Kirby.
Finally a Tmnt iceberg video! This gonna be a banger
Thank you so much for releasing this today I love tmnt and I’m forced to work on New Year’s Day so it’ll get me through
It's wild how literally all of the other actors considered for April in the reboot would have been better suited for the role than Megan Fox, imo. Wild.
HAPPY NEW YEARS!!! Pigpen you have the BEST icebergs ever! Cant wait to see what you have in store for 2024!!!
My guy you cover in icebergs every my obsesion so yeah thank you for your service man
16:55 = This actually was the one thing TNM did right. Donatello should have always had a metal staff.
I SWEAR YOU ARE MY FAVORITE CHANNEL. You literally do icebergs on everything I’m in to. Happy new years man and to everyone
I enjoy your videos man. Take your time on a break. I can't wait for your future works. 😊
Great video. Way to sum up 40 years of TMNT. I really enjoyed the things I forgot about when I was little like the Rock concerts and the Oprah appearance. I also enjoyed learning about new things like canceled live action movies and the female turtles.
i'd really like to see either a power rangers iceberg or a ben 10 iceberg from you
I'm almost disappointed that you didn't use Raphael German Pickle commercial for an ad break
Just a few more:
Ceberus Crossover, Usagi crossover and Fugitoid Crossover beign canon, Mirage Comics
Last days of the TMNT
Tales of the TMNT
Souls Winter
Panda Khan
Tmnt: Oddysey
Man I remember actually playing with a street sharks toy my uncles gave me as a hand me down
What's funny is that while the '87 cartoon was known as Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles, when the 90's TMNT movie was released internationally, it still retained the actual title, hints of a supposed change to the international release were found elsewhere including on a Japanese release of the film, the credits song in the international release having the word Ninja replaced with Hero, and gallery images in the Hong Kong DVD release of the film showing scanned versions of the lobby cards with the altered name. These types of hints including the fact that the UK version had Mikey's nunchucks covered in darkness indicated that this was being worked on but for whatever reason never made it in the UK release.
I just want to say I appreciate the running gag of listing off an unnecessarily long list of Fortnite skins whenever the game gets mentioned.
I was confused as to why you censored the concept art for "Evil April", but now I see why. I'm sure that was an early idea and it was dropped quickly, but I didn't know there's an official piece of concept art from The Jim Henson Company where April has her chest basically exposed.
Big bouncers 🥛 😎 🥛
It was done by Kevin Eastman, not anyone from the Jim Henson Company.
What the shell??
This is awesome! Just in time for my TMNT obsession for the year 🤩
Dude,of course u deserve to take a break,u always do an amazing job! Cant wait to see DCEU iceberg! Merry christmas!
my current hyperfix is tmnt lol perfect timing
Honestly rapheal’s new mutation should’ve been a Ankylosaurus then a velociraptor but that’s just my opinion.🐱 20:33
Yeah thats makes more sence
Yeah that would’ve made more sense. Since the first two Jurassic Park films came out around then, maybe they were inspired by the raptors in those movies?
17:00 Nice to see you playing MWZ.
You should do a Spawn iceberg!
Whoa
39:29 Shoto Two-Dorky is now my official way to say todoroki‘s name 😂 that was gold my friend
Have a happy new year pigpen! I always enjoy your content, and i hope you see continued success into 2024.
TMNT has always been a franchise I've barely engaged with much but seems like something I'd really enjoy.
This has been well worth the wait
Loved this informative take on the turtles. Maybe next time you could do a Nightwing iceberg
YES ‼️ I BEEN ASKING FOR THIS LETS GOOOO
I like the bit about Lady Shredder makes me wanna go read the Urban Legends comics
Another great iceberg video to end the year on! 1:07:51 also had me dying lol
The two kids: 😐😮
Thank you Pigpen!!! What a good video to end the year with 🎉🎉🎉 Happy New Years everyone
Yes, the 2014 tmnt movie wanted to beat the audience over the head with the fact that Megan fox is attractive every chance it got. The sequel did it as well.
Out of the shadows was wayyyyyyy better than 2014 but yes it did that as well
Unfortunately a stereotype with Michael Bay movies, even if he didn't have direct involvement with Out of the Shadows.
Happy New Year Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Let's go final upload of the year! Hope you have a happy new year Pigpen 😊
I hate New years Eve and Day, so thank you for giving me a distraction, youre the best
Thank you for this Pigpen! Happy new year to you kind sir!
Hyped for the next iceberg! Enjoy your break - you've got your work cut out for the next one!
Outstanding work as always pigpen
Future!Raphael 🤝 Duke Nukem
Scaring Hitler into unaliving himself in a comic.
I MEANT LEONARDO.
Great using mutants in Manhattan, its a really underrated game. This vid is a good end to my year to watch.
Another day another banger video from Pigpen keep it up bro 👍
I think this sparked my interest in TMNT again lol I haven’t watched anything from the franchise in a decade but I’ll need to give it another go
Happy New Year Pigpen!
Thank you for all the Icebergs you do!
So funny how the people who are mainly known for doing cheesy Christmas movies almost did the Turtles.
as a kid i liked Venus she used magic which was lacking from the other turtles at that time
A god among men uploaded a new video this year cannot end any better
I enjoy the video and Happy New Year 🎊🎉🎇❤️🐢
“Getting ready for Christmas the only way they can singing ,shopping, inviting children into their home , and harassing a charity Santa”-pigpen
the fact that you referred to FoxBox as being the "original" name for 4Kids TV without mentioning FoxKids makes me feel ancient lol
LETS GO hes back
Amazing as always! Going out with a bang this year!
The way you pronounced Joe Manganiello cracked me up. 😂Great video!
HELL YEAH THIS IS THE BEST CHRISTMAS GIFT EVER ‼️‼️
Thank you I wanted to learn more about ninja turtle lore
I may be a tad late, but I enjoyed the video. 'm still waiting on that X-Men Iceberg!
2 minutes in, I'm already upset😭. So close to getting an interesting storyline for Mikey and then not 💔. I wish they would focus more on all 4 brothers instead of just Leo and a bit of Raph.
Def has the Power Rangers/Super Sentai problem where like. .the Red Ranger and maybe another get attention while the others just kinda exist.
For real, TMNT 2007 is a good movie. But it was more a Raph and Leo movie rather then an all-four turtles movie
Great job on this video keep up the great work next year can you do an iceberg on the '90s comics dark horses
