Just a few more fun facts about the Office:
1. Jenna Fischer actually made a mixtape "sounds of Scranton" for her to help get her into character and when they thought the show was going to end, she gave copies out as presents
2. Rainn Wilson's son was actually born during the production of "Hot Girl"
3. They actually originally wanted to start with "the Dundies" to reframe from "copying" the original but network wanted them to start with their own take on the Pilot episode
4. In preparation for "the Dundies", Jenna went to B.J. Novak for help on being drunk. So like any good writer, he took her out to document her behavior as she drank to help her play drunk Pam
5. Production of season 2 started only 2 weeks after the release of the 40-year-old Virgin, which is why Steve Carell looked so different
6. These actors are pretty much the sweetest people in the world, but I'm sure everyone already knows that :)

I re-watch the series multiple times a year. I think it's the first live-action comedy that I watched weekly from near beginning to end, as the episodes aired.
It's like being with old friends. It's crazy.
I can understand the criticism against Steve Carell. Michael Scott drives me absolutely crazy sometimes, but that just shows the strength of the performance and the writing.

Mr. Blue Sky is one of my all time favourite songs, but I'm glad it wasn't used as the theme. Had it been, it forevermore would have been known as The Office theme, and not recognised for the standalone masterpiece that it is.

I loved Micheal but they wrote him out so well.... I actually thought as good as they ended it the show could have run on for a few more seasons. Especially with Dwights role expanding. Id happily have watched The Dwight K Scrute regime a few more seasons.

In my opinion John didn’t insult the producer at all he had a very valid point and I think that’s why he still got the role. I think you’re instagating the situation or whoever suggested that-that was insulting. There’s evidence throughout the years that american remakes don’t do so well. so he had the right idea to worry about the show.

What I always found funny was how BJ Novak is in the opening despite Ryan not being a main character.
Shows sometimes bring people in on the pilot to see if they can be good on the show
it’s because in the beginning ryan was meant to be a main character in fact b.j. novak was the first person to be cast (i’m pretty sure they said that in the video) but later they decided he shouldn’t be as much of a main character so he could have more time writing for the show
Actually, in season one, he was one of the only five season regulars on the show.(BJ Novak, Rainn Wilson, Jenna Fisher, John Krasinski, and Steve Carrell.)

If you have not watched the Office, please do. It is honestly a great and funny show. I like that it seems so natural and that these are actual people being filmed on their job. I can never watch an episode without laughing so hard, love it!
I still haven’t felt the same way. Workaholics gave me a unique ride I loved. It’s always sunny is gold. Plenty more have given me laughs but the office is like a group you are part of.

That was REALLY well-done, and told me tons of stuff I never knew about The Office (and I re-watch the entire series at least once a year). There are so many "things you didn't know" crap videos on TH-cam about The Office, all recycling the same factoids, and you really did a great job pulling far ahead of them and being really informative and entertaining.

If they do make an office reboot, I don't think it'll really be the same. They tied it off pretty good. Seasons 8-9 felt empty without Michael tbh, and a reboot without him... eh. They should get the whole cast back for just one special episode or smthn like a "where are they now". It'd be really cool if we could see how Holly and Michael are getting along in Colorado.

I think that rebooting The Office would be a bad idea because so many people love the show that doing it again might ruin the love people have for it. I do think that it would be interesting to see if NBC could pull it off but mostly I think they should let The Office continue to hook people the way it does now.

Idea for an Office reboot: include some "non-documentary" behind the scenes with the fictional documentary crew making comments about the Dunder Mifflin employees. "Man, are these people for real? What a pack of imbeciles!"
I think one of the most clever gimmicks they pulled was when Jim and Pam were going through some serious marital problems and Pam was left crying in a hallway. The "sound guy" dropped his gear and went over to comfort her while the cameras rolled. Talk about breaking the 4th wall! It also posed a monstrous dilemna: was Pam and Jim's marriage in serious trouble, especially with the "sound guy" consoling Pam??
and season five the weight loss episode when Jim proposed that convince store was the most expensive episode they ever filmed

HannaShine parks and rec: shitty rip off of style with some laughs and 30% likeable characters but the majority of characters aren’t as likeable as the office and Leslie trying to be an overachieving mike Scott was so derivative. I mean it’s fun if you’re in a good mood but compared to the office it’s trash. If they recast Donna, retooled toms character, recast April contrary to popular belief she’s a shitty character, and brought more fun to the plot Instead of forced feelings

April's a great character and so are Donna and Tom! Ofc it's not gonna be exactly like the office, its a different show! Leslie was a lot different from Michael and the characters were all great and likable, the comedy was awesome, and the relationships felt natural.
