I can’t recall seeing anyone react to this movie before. It deals with our (America’s) shameful racist past and it makes a lot people feel uncomfortable. It’s a great movie though and I wish more people would react to it. I applaud you for reacting to it. Great reaction too. 😊❤
10:45 the place where the school is, Bayonne New Jersey, is where I grew up and lived until I was 27 years old. I actually worked for a shipyard that had a dry dock at the very end of this peninsula type protrusion into the bay from Bayonne which was called the Military Ocean Terminal (MOT). Needless to say there's a special place in my heart for this film for that reason!!!❤❤❤❤
I have had the privilege to meet Master Diver Brashear in 1992 when i was stationed at the Dive School in Panama City Beach, FL. It was incredible to listen to his story in person.
Back in the eighties I was based out in Hong Kong. One of the army pilots on 660 squadron had had a flying accident and lost his lower leg. Rather than accepting a medical discharge he pushed himself to learn how to fly again.
It is so inspiring and enriches the soul to watch the evolution of both of these characters. Next and if you haven't seen it you need to watch hacksaw ridge

Underrated movie most people overlook.
I haven't seen this in awhile. Your movie choices are random but in a refreshing way.
