In number 011's defense, the guy was already eliminated from the moment he moved and got shot in the leg. Someone else shot him before her and Number 011 just finished him off, so it was pointless for Gi-hun to save him.

Interestingly, he also happens to be good friends with Lee Jung-Jae, the protagonist of Squid Game. In fact, it was Lee Jung-Jae who helped T.O.P land his role in the show.
