G2 Brake Caliper Paint

- W215 Mercedes CL600 with the AMG/Brembo big brake upgrade. Using www.g2usa.com G2 caliper paint that was a custom color (Petty Blue) and I could not be happier with the application / results. Self leveling and a heavy duty no chipping finish that looks amazing.
Os upgrading brim stock calipers to the AMG calipers just a bolt on or do I need to make any modifications to make them fit?
So i had to drill out/die grind out the eyelets of the stock caliper bolt holes. I think i had to move brake backing plate out of the way a little bit to. They do clear my spare 17's I run too
Did you have to sand down the caliper during the prep ? If so what grit did you finish off with to get a smooth finish?
g2 is a self leveling epoxy and is amazing to apply! i did clean everything with brake cleaner and used a high grain (380 i believe) sand paper just in a few spots

You mention the color as being G2's custom mix of "Petty Blue". I don't see any custom mix available other than G2's Dodge PQD which is Surf Blue Challenger. I spoke to their customer service & they were not able to help. Do you know exactly what color you purchased from G2?

Wait wait wait ✋️ I could've gotten a custom color? Did you use a clear coat after you finished?
Yess and i applied decals and no clear on these but others I have either way held up phenomenally!
