about the wearing perfume outside the house, I do think there is a difference between wearing a real strong perfume that attracts the senses compared to just not smelling bad, smelling good and fresh with spritzes of body mist. Thats what I do, I don't wear strong perfume like designer perfume but rather like bath & body works etc. I do think smelling good in a subtle way is important so we do not smell bad
Showering and wearing deodorant does just that.. so no you can’t wear mists because what makes you think men don’t like that ?
Oh no for me when I go out and I'm.out and about in the street the whole day, whenever I come home my sister tells me I smell bad like the smell of being outside and hot. It's the clothing that takes that smell of outside, riding the metro, walking etc. And visa versa I can smell that too on her when she goes out and about the whole day. So for me I am not trying to wear perfume to attract men I am trying to cover an unpleasant smell. Big difference. Also the perfume smell always fades anyway. Also I am not mingling and walking and being with men. It's about smelling decent for the women around me in the masjid, women around me in the halaqa, women around me in the women's metro cabin. maybe a shower and deodorant work good for you and where you live, but for me the lifestyle I live and climate I live in it's not enough. The clothes end of smells g of the day out. Personally when someone enters the masjid and has an unpleasant smell it is really bothersome. I really don't like it. So I wouldn't want to do that to others myself. Makes you realize why a good smell is a sadaqah. H@@alhamdiuallah2989

I really appreciate the questions about postpartum and career questions that you answered. This is the season that I'm in and it's empowering to know that not focusing on you as a mom and as a woman is common. I've had to talk to many moms to come to that conclusion. All the questions were amazing since it's so important to take care of ourselves as women/moms/wives and glad that you addressed them. I did get it cut n down , but now I have baby hairs all over my hair line curling from the postpartum hairloss 8:00 😅
I like doing a sleek back pony & I wear a band especially after wudu to keep my baby hairs down flat. When they are flattened down, they actually fram the face beautifully

If you are sweaty, you cannot use "natural deodorant." It literally does nothing for sweat and just masks odor without reducing it.
You need to use a "regular" ANTI PERSPIRANT. Its literally in the name of the product. A regular or natural deodorant doesn't work towards sweat. The fear mongering against aluminum products is ridiculous, not based in any scientific evidence, and needs to stop. In fact, the fragrance ingredients in natural deodorants can cause irritation because its straight up perfume. Almay fragrance free is a great option.
Additional things that you can do: apply benzoyl peroxide cleanser in the shower to the underarms to control bacteria responsible for body odor (bonus is it reduces underarm discoloration!). Also applying anti perspirants at bed is said to work better but i still apply post showering.

Because of people like you judging them for every little thing. It's not your place to judge how or if they wear the hijab to be honest. This toxic culture is what makes people look down on hijab and saying is oppressive
@justanotherpersonxo calm down . I just asked a question. I have every right to ask because when someone is sharing with us their every day lives that means we have the right to ask them anything we want. I just want to know why are hijabis not covering their necks especially when it's a hijabi influencer because they are representing Islam. I have said the same thing to my niece who also wears a hijab but doesn't cover her neck. We can't allow this to become a normal thing because it's wrong.
