Note: Salam all! AN IMPORTANT REMINDER! I implied in the video a few times that this applies to a "good man". This advice would not apply to any woman with an abusive husband ever. My advice is for woman who value their husband, their husbands value them, the marriage mutually began with the intention to align with the divine nature of a marriage (mercy, love and peace aka rahma, muwada and sakeena). In those marriages, things start off well and then we don't realize we damage the strength of the marriage through the things we say/do (or don't say/do). This is a reminder of how some simple interventions can change the marriage. Most of us are not entering into unions with people who don't appreciate you trying to steal their heart.
This is for women who want to increase the blessings in their marriage, who want to take accountability and do what they can because you can only control your actions. May Allah make it easy for you all!

@@Allahaloneknows read comment about abuse. This advice doesn’t apply to women in those situations, I don’t care about a woman “stealing her man’s heart” if he’s actually truly cheating. Like that’s easily grounds for divorce, this video should be the least of anyone’s concern. Bless you baby girl, sit with a therapist, counselor, coach who can hold your hand as you figure this out because I don’t know how any person survives infidelity that isn’t stopping

For the brothers who have a stay at home wife wanting to understand how to win back love of their wife: HELP HER! She is overwhelmed with chores and duties to the point she forgot who she is, let alone having energy for you. You go to work, you go to the masjid, you go to appointments, you interact with others. Your life goes on and on. Meanwhile she feels stuck in a world that never seems to end. Surrounded with noise from kids and demands 24/7. Help her! She needs to take care of her own soul first so that she can be good to you. Let her have friends and hobbies and let her go to places and lrt her study so that she feels alive!! Men be talking about their needs while not realising their wife already had an identity crisis 10 years ago..

    1. Follow religion.
    2. Look your best.
    3. Make sure your mental health is in good shape .
    4. Ask him what you can do for him .
    5. Don’t overshare.
    6. Be great full .
    7. Tell him you are proud of him .

I am a muslim man who watched this video, and all I can say is that us men (good, honest men I should add), Wallahi all we want someone who takes care of themselves, the house, the kids...someone who gives us peace, my house is a going to be a place of peace.
Arguments will happen here and there, of course, but all I want is peace of mind in my home..let me go out in this world and take care of all other aspects of our life, you just take care of me, the kids, and I got us, I will take care of you and love you like you deserve to be loved.
it is simple, but does nit meant it is easy

Salaams brother. This is very understanding. Just remember that a man is the one who sets the tone in the house. Toget peace, you need to be peace. A woman wont nag if she says something once and you listen. When she starts nagging means, she has told you the exact same thing 1000 times and you didnt listen.
So be her peace, she will give you haven. Amidst the tinny arguments that are natural when you live with anyone.

That is priceless. That is not to say the husbands shouldn’t and just become couch potatoes but there are very few things that make me happier than coming home to a beautiful, nice looking and caring wife. ❤❤❤. It makes me forget all my work-related stress and challenges and no matter where I go to work, I can’t wait to come home.

Being a woman.... I totally understand and agree with every step you emphasized upon.... But the household you live in can be toxic (saying that because our eastern culture mostly lives in joint families.... Where the in-laws are pretty interfering) so things become a challenge. They are literally competitors. This balance between the mother and the wife. The sisters and the wife. This becomes a juggling act. The husband and wife are mostly in love with each other but these toxic families make them STOP doing those things. Don't get dressed in front of the kids. Don't smile at him in front of his sisters. Why take her out and spend on her. Buying a gift for the husband means ... You spent HIS money on something he MIGHT not even like. I'm not sure what and how they should navigate their lives.

Great advice! I think a big, sticky spot for marriages is when there is a downward spiral of misunderstandings and lack of communication. When women arent supported with kids and home to have the time and mind to care for themselves, health even let alone beauty and so they neglect their husbands. Meanwhile men spending too much time providing and their careers too much that they dont support the wife...neither thinks how they can balance things for each other until they both deift apart and just look for some easy way out to satisfy themselves. They think that they other one has it easier staying at home, or out working not dealing with tantrums or disobedience of kids and resentment builds in both. May Allah make it easy for us to communicate, forgive and keep things in balance!

Often times we forget these important aspects in our marriage. Correction, we don't forget but we are so caught up in taking care of the house, the kids and a job outside the house. We finish one job and come home to another never ending job. While most men come home from their work and relax the rest of the time with a hot meal, their favorite TV shows and etc. and they expect their wives to look pretty and be all smiling. Everything you said was to the point and very true. Unfortunately, marriage for most of us women is just hard labor.

    - Allow your husband to take the lead and make decisions, demonstrating confidence in him. He may fail at times, but with your support, he'll be encouraged to try again.
    - Seek his advice, even when you think you know the best course of action (this should be reciprocal).
    - Engage in physical activities together, such as exercising and hiking.

Men are wired naturally to be stimulated visually and for me personally as a woman I'm more stimulated mentally and emotionally. That being said as new reverts to Islam as a married couple of 20 years we both still try to take care of ourselves and dress nice for each other even if it's just to go grocery shopping..lol. I notice he lowers his gaze and I do the same and when we are relaxing at home we thank each other for showing such a deep respect for each other. Even after all these years I still let him pick out outfits for me and I help him when he asks me if he looks good to me for me nobody else. When we met I wasn't wearing hijab yet but that day I was covered up to my neck in loose fitting clothing and zero make up. He told me that he was attracted and intrigued that I wasn't half naked and wearing a pound of make up so he wanted to get to know me because I stood out from all the others in the western culture we live in of women wearing revealing clothing. It was my modesty that was a huge part of him choosing me over so many others. And just because we are married doesn't mean we let ourselves go..no..we still take good care of our mental physical and spiritual health..it pleases Allah and it pleases us both with respect honor and gifts of joy contentment and delight.❤

I'd be careful on giving the advice on appearance. I used to tell myself the same thing then got borderline obsessive about my appearance as a hijabi. Wearing makeup out, needed nicer clothes, I kept looking at myself in the mirror at home and ask if I'm good enough for a husband. No, this advice should be the least talked about and yet I see it everywhere, it should be a case by case thing and not a general view because then you will inevitably get sucked into the beauty standard. It should be something that the husband and wife talk about only.
Now I'm more than happy with how I look and know my husband would be too and that's the secret. If you are unhealthy get healthy for your own sake, get clean and groomed but that's it honestly. Focusing on the makeup and the hair ESPECIALLY pre marriage is gonna lead us girls down an unhealthy spiral.

    • @alasryh
      @alasryh  หลายเดือนก่อน

@@user-cb5qn1gm3o you confused my advice. The Advice was to beautify yourself for your husband (ie in your own home which is also the prophet’s advice SAW), not to beautify hijab which is the opposite of what I recommend (see my video after this).
Often, I hear women share their experience to counter the general advice forgetting that I speak to the general population, of course there will be exceptions. That’s not who I’m addressing.
Lastly, the issue is not the makeup, it’s a self-love, self-worth and self-esteem and a taqwa issue (if one isn’t wearing proper hijab) which all women should work on, married or not❤️

    • @user-cb5qn1gm3o
      @user-cb5qn1gm3o หลายเดือนก่อน

@@alasryh I agree with your last statement. I just think it's not that important for the general public to discuss women needing more beauty, even for their husbands only. It's more likely for young women by default to think they need to look better than to not, as in the advice is doing more 'rubbing in' than benefiting, of course that's not your intention.
To give advice of being healthy and clean / groomed would resinate better with the general public. That's all I meant.

I am a wife. And everything you mentioned here i actually implement it in my marriage Allahumma barik Alhamduilah. Apart from the dressing up, what i mean is the make up side of things. I always make sure I'm hygienically clean, and wear clean clothes. However i have curly hair and yes I'm into my skincare. But I'm not a make up type. My husband does prefer the natural look. I do keep my make up natural when i do apply. But most days I'm bare face, reason being ' wudu' and the fact ' consistent make up damages skin '. Consistent straightening hair will break my hair. So I'm in a dilemma.
I do believe i need to work on making an effect on hair and make up.

    2. Your physical appearance (He is the only woman he is permitted to look at)
    3. Take care of your misery (fix your mental issues/trauma)
    4. Ask him what he needs (what he feels both of you need to work on to strengthen the marriage)
    5. Don't blurt out everything that comes to mind (every little thing he does)

Sub Han nalla. Finally a woman who makes sense in this world of feminist ideology.
I love ❤️ my dear sister. I wish there were more Muslim women like you out there.
I recently had a divorce after 15 years of marriage with a hejabi sister who prayed 5 times a day.
All of the advice you give in this video, she did the opposite.
She never appreciate anything and she always complain about everything.
Her friends and family encouraged her to leave me instead of work on our differences.
No one from her family ever contact me to find out what was going on and they always take her side.
She only put on make up and look beautiful when she was going to work or when she was going out.
She gained so much weight and she love eating junk and never exercise.
I sacrifice my life for 8 years to working as an over the road trucker to provide for them.
When I would come home, no one cares and no one wanted to see me or sit and have dinner with me.
I’m 45 years old from New York. And she is also 45 years old.
Having sex was not fun it was like a chore. I did it to save myself from ZINA.
I couldn’t have a conversation with out it turning into an argument.

Therefore we feel that learned people like you have to address the women in general to accept and support their husband to marry another at least a widow in their own family to support the society. There are enough of men who are capable of looking after the 2nd in our society and you know where it is blocking.

I agree with you on most parts except the physical look.
I had a condition which caused me to lose weight considerably and i was already thin so you can imagine. The moment i started recovering and slowly gaining weight again I felt like the most beautiful person ever, and I never felt that way before growing up (again always called out for being thin). Then what my husband did on my two weeks away visiting mum who underwent surgery in a different country? He cheated on me by texting women.... that day broke me forever, and even after i "forgave" him, I see no point in dolling up anymore. Especially when I lost weight again going through pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Lowering the gaze is a must for muslim men, and women's job is not to fill their eyes so they wont get seduced by others.
That puts so much pressure on the sisters, and for somebody like me it feels like I will never win
    Always set to lose.
