My kids are older now but I have vivid memories of making school lunches and it was my least fav part of the weekly routine! I started making a weeks worth of sandwiches and freezing them, and by the time lunch rolled around they were defrosted! I also made up a weeks worth of containers with nuts, carrots or grapes etc. it made it easy for the kids to assemble their lunch each morning.

I love Leena I love her vlogs I honestly do, but does anyone else feel so weird that we’re living such a “normal” life while there are Palestinian kids being blown up to pieces? Arms and legs gone.. it just feels so strange to me now. Even for myself going about my day to day and then watching these kinds of vlogs. Anyone else just feel like wtf are we doing as an ummah? How we know better, we know Allah and that this world is just a joke but we’re literally so consumed by it.. Is it just me? May Allah forgive us all.
There’s always wars going on in the world. If we stopped living every time there is a war then we would forget to be strong for our families and others around us. There are wars happening all the time, when something is not in your control does not mean to be depressed and cry in bed all day and stop living. You have to carry on . Leena has young children and a family to take care of…what’s wrong with people. You do you and but don’t tell others what to do and how to live.
