    We just got our 40° Cedar Ridge quilts. They are amazing. Light weight, warm, and well made. We got ours in a custom "Northern Lights" print. We love them!

    Sorry for any thunder stealing lol! Kris is far worse than me! Well ... maybe! CRO makes incredible gear, 7 quilts in the arsenal from them. Great video, enjoy the quilts!

    Mt. Leconte in Tennessee was named after one of two brothers, no one is really sure. Joseph was better known as a geologist from the University of Georgia. He is also well known for his book about the Sierra's, Ramblings through the High Sierra's of California. A great short read. He has a mountain named after him on the border of Sequoia National Park. This was named after him for earlier being the first professor of geology and natural history at the University of California. There is speculation that Mt. Leconte could be named after Joseph's older brother John as a favor for a good deed. No one is sure about this. Just some neat history of the name Leconte and their importance of our parks today. The Sierra's and the Appalachians are very dear to me. I'm waiting for my first Cedar Ridge quilt now. Can't wait.

    Met the CRO crew at my 1st hangcon in 2018 and never looked back. LOVE my quilts and how they will try their best to create or make what you want to perfection! Now time to order a 7d quilt for the CRO collection

    I really need to buy one for a blanket. It's sad that I haven't bought one yet.

    We've got a couple of LeConte quilts. The quality is impeccable and I'm looking forward to buying an under quilt and lighter top quilt as I transition to a hammock setup.

    I have been looking for a 40 degree quilt. I have always found it hard to match Hammock Gear's quality. I have quite a few.
    Would you say the quality and sticking is as good as H.G.?
    Thanks for the review.

    • @SpiguyverBackpacking1
      @SpiguyverBackpacking1  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, there are a few brands that I would say are top of the list for quality, Hammock Gear, UGQ, Loco Libre and Cedar Ridge. That is, of the ones I've tried, I'm sure there are others out there that rock as well

    I love that company. Super awesome to work with. My only complaint is my 40 degree top quilt doesn't get me to 40 degrees kind of a bummer but not a deal breaker. Keep up the great work

      I don't hear that very often. Have you reached out to them about the temp rating of the quilt?

    Thanks for introducing new (to me) cottage vendors. I'll ask CRO about a draft collar and weight saving of 950 fill. They were able to print on 7D fabric?

    Great vid Mark! Love the CRO stuff. Don't own any of their products yet, but I've seen the quality first hand. Not to distract from the main topic of this video though, but I think you're gonna have to make one about trail Margaritas now 😆... Keep up the good content!
