    Made a mini one as only I eat cheesecake in my home, I just halved the ingredients and it was incredible! I chilled it overnight and it came out perfectly! I might have slightly over baked it as I didn’t reduce the baking time to account for the smaller size, there’s always next time!😊

    Thank you for sharing this beautiful recipe! My cake turned out great and very delicious! It raised well but once I took it from the oven, it dropped in size dramatically. Any idea why and what should I do differently next time?

    • @turkishgirl_homecook
      @turkishgirl_homecook  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Hi! I am very happy that you watch my video and try it! Please check other recipe videos.
      Actually ıts normal the cake is raising during bake. And it goes down a bit. But if it s too much probably the batter get too much air while you mix it. So try not to take out and in your whiskers into batter while you whisk it

    • @turkishgirl_homecook
      @turkishgirl_homecook  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      sorry for late reply. but I guess you can reduce the temperature. this could help to cook slowly ,longer and burns when it is baked.

    is it fan assisted? I tried it but I cracks

    • @turkishgirl_homecook
      @turkishgirl_homecook  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No. Should be baked in the oven without fan . Only top and bottom mode. It might cracked if you over whisk the batter. Whisk until everything combine. Not more

    • @turkishgirl_homecook
      @turkishgirl_homecook  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You may use philadelphia cream cheese as well. Some people may use labneh but it's slightly softer when you compare with cream cheese. But you can also use labneh drained the excess of water.
      Or if there is any cheese which is close to the cream cheese in the country you are in.thank you for reaching us. Enjoy!

    Can i use labne penir instead of krem peynir

    • @turkishgirl_homecook
      @turkishgirl_homecook  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes You may. But you need to drain the water very well. Also labne will taste lighter than cream cheese. I would prefer labneh for new york style cheesecake and cream cheese for San Sebastian. It is all depend your palate🥰😊

    • @turkishgirl_homecook
      @turkishgirl_homecook  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you overwhisk the batter,cause of the air bubbles involved it can rise while it bakes . Even though Which is okey normally. Also the purpose is to make a burnt cheesecake here

    • @turkishgirl_homecook
      @turkishgirl_homecook  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I also mentioned on another comment. Raising up is not a specific that it should be. Even its better. If you did from 300 grams you should also consider to use smaller spring form to keep height enough for jiggly middle
