There is huge size market for silent mechanical keyboards. Because in ofc you can't use loud keys as it annoys everyone. Apparantly no brand address this market or problem. Also they need to be backlit.
I uses mx keys mini in the office for most of time, I brought a mechanical mini and my college complained that it is too noisy for her what should I do? i really want to use a mechanical keyboard as the mx keys mini is too low and give me wrist pain
@@nightswithd buy one of them fancy new silent mechanical keyboards or get over it and just use a regular MX mini, not mechanical. Its better anyway. Mechanical keyboards are highly over rated. They're a glorified gaming peripheral. For whatever reason because of the hype they get from gamers, regular people assume they must be better keyboard for regular uses too. Definitely not.
How about the half-sized right shift key (on the mechanical)? is it comfortable to use (in combination with arrow keys during coding sessions)? I wonder if people get accidental mistakes compared to the apple style shift keys on the mx keys?
I have the mechanical mini and never had any problem with the right shift, tbh I didn't even considered this could be an issue until I read your comment, I use right shift for typing and left shift for gaming.
Mini keys should be get. I have a MX craft keyboard and am super happy with it. I'm looking for a small keyboard and looks like MX mini will be a great choice
A huge surprise to me but I preferred the scissor style keys of the MX Keys (smoother typing action with less errors) over the MX Mechanical (rattly switches, cheap keycaps etc)
100%. the mx mech is ridiculously easy to trigger. I make 10x more typos on that thing vs anything else. If it wasn't for that, it would be a great keyboard.
Very good video, thanks. for gaming mechanical is the right choice as i understand. Do u recommend any cheaper ,quiet ,mini ,wireless, with soft buttons, alternatives for gaming. I dont care latency.

Mechanical mini is backlit and the linear red is decently quiet. But I know what you mean.

I have both of them and both are amazing pieces of gear. The MX is a huge improvement over the mac stock keyboard.
How are they compared in terms of fatigue. I read that without a wrist rest, the mini mechanical users are experiencing fatigue?
Thanks for the Excellent video. You have covered all the critical points that will contribute to a well informed decision. 👍

thx for the typing sound comparison

Great video! May I know what is the mouse that you showed in the video?
Thank you! Logitech MX Master 3S: amzn.to/3Jc53t2
Thanks pal for the review. Which keyboard do you think types the best and most effortless?
I gotta say keys mini is my daily driver.
How do you typenthe @ symbol on those keyboards?
Shift + 2

what compatible stems are the mechaincal kb?
I think they are Cherry? I'm not as deep in the world of Mechanical as others though.

i use the scissor mx mini for gaming and its completely fine 👍👍 just depends on preference
@@RyanPiwarski i see do u mean logitech by scissor . İ couldnt unserstand :)
how easy do you think it is to travel with the mx mechanical mini? do you think it could potentially be damaged easily if put in a backpack? thanks.
I’d put any keyboard in a case if traveling with it.
@@adamtalkstech thanks a lot. do you have any particular case that you can recommend?
@@dteja92did you find a particular case?
Can you have the mechanical mini plugged in at all times? I really want this keyboard but I don't want a wireless one
You can leave it plugged into power, but it will only work with the wireless connection
Why did you take the keycaps off?
Just to show the mechanical switches beneath the MX Mechanical Keycaps
Nice video! Amazing how you did not blink ones :)
We all have hidden talents

You should smile brother lol. Jk but this video is literally what i needed so i know which one i want for work
Haha working on it man.
mx keys mini all the way much better than mechanical mini
My all around favorite
@@adamtalkstech Do you still use it for productivity work or something else?
I’m mostly writing and editing videos these days and just found the keys mini to be more convenient
MX Mechanical typing experience is horrible - feels mushy, cheap keycaps. Fck Logitech for wasting such good idea!
I haven’t tried any of the other high dollar brands yet but it’s fine.
