It appears that the refrigerator and freezer section are close by the shelving sections. It appears that you do not need to staple the bags? So you or the cashier print the labels for your bags, guess that is done after all your items are bagged? Do you or the bagger place the bags in the shelving units?
I separated them as I put them on the belt at checkout. They put them in the paper bags. I take the bags to the station and I’ll say I have 3 bags. It then brings up a QR code and I scan it and it prints the 3 labels. I put the labels on the bags in the top left. And I put them either on the shelves, in the freezer or fridge. No stapling anything. Everything is in a little corner or off to the the side in the front of the store

I may try one of these. You made it seem easy until the end with the bags and the labels and shelf’s and freezer. I was like lord lol
It really is easy! They bag it for you. You just tell them it’s for a curbside pickup. And they separate them into the paper bags. You go over to the staging area and type how many bags you have in the app. It goes step by step in the app. After you type the number of bags a QR code comes up. You scan the QR code at the machine and it prints your labels. Labels go on top left of the bags. And then you place bags either on shelf for dry grocery. The fridge for cold items and the freezer for frozen items! Take pictures of them in the area and your good to go!
If you let a store worker know they will help you the first time!

So did u pay out of your pocket and then they return to you the money or hpw does that work?
I have never paid out of pocket. If your card doesn’t work and you do pay out of pocket they (instacart) will reimburse you. But I’ve never went through with all that

Yes! For the stores that offer shop only. It’ll say shop only

So you pick them up and where do you leave them?, how they get them ?
For the shop only? You shop and leave them at the designated spot in the store. And the customer comes and the store employee brings it to their car! Super easy

im wondering how crazy would it be to bring my toddler along i would love to do this as a way to fill my schedule and bring in more income im a baker and every month is totally different for me financially i hate that sometimes lol
If they can sit in the cart while you do it o don’t see why not! I bring my daughter but she’s 12. I’ve seen people have toddlers. Try it out and see!
if you get to an appartment complex youll be leaving the kid in the car to deliver...
I’ve brought my toddler.. if they’re fine when you’re grocery shopping for your personal stuff they’ll be fine for working. It’s no different.
I'm just signing up.... Option 1 is Shop Only and option 2 is Shop & Drive..... Does option 2 mean you could do both Shop and Shop & Drive depending on the order? And does Shop & Drive pay more than Shop only?
Shop only is not really an only option anymore. They don’t have in store shopping shoppers anymore. All shoppers get both. Shop only and shop and deliver. Shop and deliver is way better. You get orders with High tips. Shop only is no tips. I do then but it’s best to only take 15 items or less. Usually instacart pays anywhere from $6-$10 for those!
They send all the orders to your screen and it’s first come first serve. So maybe 10 people get all the same orders so the better orders will fly off the screen!
Also the closer you are to the store now the better! You’ll get the priority orders before people who are further away.

Is it worth it to shop only? Do shoppers only get tips and bonuses?
I know it’s been a year but in my experience they are not eligible for tips
I don’t get for label print and how I can print while I’m in store? I mean how to do label process?
After you do the shopping and check out it’ll take you to the next process and you’ll scan your barcode that’s gonna pop up on your phone by the Pick up section. They have a little barcode scanner and it prints out the label right there

Mine tells me the mileage but not the actual location

It's from your current location to the store and to the delivery one way
Can you go back and forth from shop only to delivery
Yes. They all upload on the screen and you choose which orders you take. So you can try to get the shop only batches or do one and then the other.

@Come See Marlee Dee also is there a schedule you have to do? On the screen it says there is a schedule if I switch to shop only.
What if the order isn’t until later in the day? Do you just wait until that time?
For shop only? You start shopping when they send it and you snatch it. So if you aren’t at that store you gotta head to it ASAP to start shopping. And set it up in their pickup area.

@@roba168 for shop only we get paid very little and customers can’t tip. If I order myself I’ll ask for their cash app so I can’t send a tip that way.
For a shop and deliver its automatic $7 base pay plus tip. We get the full tip the customer leaves. Sometimes they give you a little for heavy items and far mileage
@@ComeSeeMarleeDee I got a question when I select free pick up does that mean the person doesn’t get paid?
@@roba168 we get paid but can’t get a tip. And it’s not a lot! So like 20 items and under is usually like $7 -$10 but you have have 50 items it’s not equal to the time it would take to shop that because it’s only gonna be like $15 for the shopper .
I haven't seen any decent batches since Sunday and only like 5 an hr this is horrible 😫😫😫🔥

Not really..... in Florida if you want to do the right thing you can't get insurance for delivery driving even commercial insurance to drive. I looked into it with an insurance agent and they said no insurance will cover you for food or grocery delivery! Me and the agent couldn't believe it. She said only for transporting people would be ok not food or grocery delivery.... unbelievable.
