Really interesting - thanks so much! I am researching side hustles - my career is incredibly stressful and i am working out a simpler path for myself, so this tutorial was very helpful- thanks again! 💚
Great video. Yours was the first one I watched on doing Instacart and I was pleasantly surprised to see your location being in Daytona Beach. I have friends in Holly Hill and I'm planning to move to Port Orange this fall. I am currently on the waiting list up north to do Instacart and it just seems so complicated. I'm sure I'm just nervous, but your video helped.
You will love it down here! The beach is a little sad since the hurricanes this past summer, but it is still beautiful. Port Orange is a great area. I definitely understand it is nerve-racking to start shopping with Instacart, but once you get the hang of it it's easy and pretty fun! Start with small orders and work your way up to the bigger ones. Good luck!!!
I think in the UK that the folks who do this work are store employees. Shame as I feel I could do this. Thank you for your transparency in showing us exactly how things are .
Thank you for the video, alot of people on TH-cam don't really show a lot with the app I just started and I only done 2 batches. They 😂are hard to come by where I'm at. Like 20 dollars or less is all I had seen. Not so great in my area. I cancelled one so far. Accepted it by mistake
Is this a 1099 gig? My friend and I are thinking of forming an LLC and treating this as a business on the side so we can take tax deductions and purchase a vehicle under the LLC. Establish some business credit then eventually get into real estate.
The store has a special area to put the groceries - only IC shoppers and employees are suppose to handle to groceries. When the customer arrives, a grocery story employee will bring them out to their car for them. I have not heard of any of the groceries being stolen - but you do have to depend on the store employees to make sure all the bags make it to the car. Luckily, I have not had any bad experiences with shop-only orders ... yet lol.
Is there any trouble you could get into if you take longer than the goal time? What would you say is more worth it, Instacart or Doordash? Thanks so much for your in depth explanation of this. I want to start a side hustle but am not sure if I want to do Instacart or Doordash. I've done food delivery before so I might pick Doordash.
There are honestly pros and cons to each DD and IC. I prefer IC because you can make more money more quickly, but it is more work and communication with customers. My husband prefers DD because it is super easy - just pick up and drop off with very little interaction. The MOST money can be made by multi-apping - doing both DD and IC at the same time. My husband does this a lot and we are thinking of doing a video on how in the future 😊 So maybe start with DD if you are feeling more confident with it, then slowing add in some IC. And you will not get into any trouble for going over the IC timer when shopping.
I would scan as you go. It could get pretty confusing if you need to communicate with the customer about making replacements if you try to gather everything first.
This reminds me SOOOO much of Kroger Clicklist with how we scan, weigh, substitute, refund items, etc. I will be placing my first instacart order tomorrow I’m excited but kinda nervous cuz I’m in Ohio😅
this was super detailed, thank you, very helpful

I am glad it was helpful!
I would have been stoked about the salted caramel replacement 😋
I just got off the waitlist today after 3 months. Thanks for this. Looking forward to shopping tomorrow.
I learned the most watching your video-thanks
Thanks for sharing that, I always wondered how it worked.
Great share. You explained it so well. 🙌
Thank you so much. This was super helpful.
You're very welcome!
Very helpful and detailed video. Thanks about to start doing this
Do you have to put money on the debit card do you have to use your own money to start😮
Thank you for that! Needed it!
Just got card to start shopping Im nervous so Im gonna try a demo shop first and see how that goes.
My insta cart doesnt show me where the items are going to before i accept the batch. Do you know how i find that out?
Yesss! Thank you!! Very helpful!♥️

I just signed up but couldn’t start because it said no spots available in my area 😭😭 I’m in Fort Lauderdale area and not sure when I can start 😢

so bummed in southern california it isn’t taking any new shoppers. iam on a waiting list. keeping my fingers crossed i can do it soon.
When I first signed up, I was on the wait list for a couple weeks before I was approved. So don't give up! Hopefully you will be approved soon :)
What if there's no scale available?
Any opinions regarding self checkout vs using a store cashier for your orders?
What if the store charges for bags? How does that work with the order? - Who pays for it and how?
Doesn't seem too difficult, much better than driving people around.😍
I agree! I would be so awkward driving people around lol.
I think in the UK that the folks who do this work are store employees. Shame as I feel I could do this. Thank you for your transparency in showing us exactly how things are .
I only want to shop. Is the pay good for shoppers only? Do shoppers get tips? Can shoppers set their own hours?
The Shop Only orders get no tips. Customers can be brutal with reviews for no reason and often say items are missing. Sucks

A great tutorial. Thank you so much!
Am I insane or is this way too involved of a process for $9?
Did you get pay every day or every week?
Are there any shopping jobs for disabled without delivery?
Thanks for your help really appreciate it
Is it only apple pay , or is there a google pay ?
Hi. If working everyday, how many times does Instacart ask for facial recognition ?
Hello Just Started a TH-cam Channel. Thanks for this video. I have been interested in trying Instacart here in Northeast TN where i live.
Wow, I had no idea! So for the second order, she comes to the store to pick up up the bags? Do they ever get stolen? I want to lol.

I was wondering this too, I've never seen this in any of my local stores
Is shopping timed?
yes
Is there any trouble you could get into if you take longer than the goal time?

Do you recommend shopping for the items then scan or scan as you go?
I would scan as you go. It could get pretty confusing if you need to communicate with the customer about making replacements if you try to gather everything first.
Thank you so much
Very helpful Thanks
Aldi's does take Apple Pay so this must be an old video
