I've been making this same smoothie for a couple years now - usually use soy or almond milk. Great breakfast. Freezing the banana too adds a lot more texture and I usually use plain Greek yogurt for protein.

Michael, thanks for your videos and your great tips. I used to make this exact smoothie (except I'd also add Brewer's yeast and use almond milk) for a couple of years. However, I recently switched from Spinach to Lacinato Kale. Many dark leafy greens have oxalic acid in them which bind to calcium, spinach is high in this. If you have the shake regularly you might want to think about switching. Also, try to blend for about 20 s or less to minimize oxidation. Hope this helps and thanks again

This is great! Just made this, but I used 80g strawberries, 80g blueberries, 80g baby spinach, 100g banana, 240g ff greek yogurt and 1 tbsp of stevia. Will drink it before I goto bed.
Because its the month of Ramadan for us, its kinda difficult to get in the fruits and veggie/s compared to during the 11 months of not fasting. This way i'll get the protein in along with 4 portions of fruit! Thanks once again Mike!

Just had this with a tuna sandwich, whilst sitting in the sun... GAF!!
If you put the spinach in first so it's on the bottom it will generally blend better so you can avoid the larger pieces of spinach.

How do you personally set up your meal labels on my fitness pal? I used to do meal 1 meal 2 etc.. but now I changed it to Carbs, Proteins, Fats, Shakes. easy to find everything!

I need to start calculating my food. I use 1/2 a cup of oatmeal, blueberries, and a bannana with my whey protein shake everday. Adding spinach seems like a great idea. This is why I subcribed to this channel.

Can you do one for people struggling to fit in calrioes, a highly calorific dish? Snack ect for bulking. Substitute for weight gainer?
That's my Smoothie! Although, I usually use Kale instead and add flaxseed and blend with Vanilla Almond Milk... After a workout I'll add Vanilla protein powder.

How do you stay lean while bulking? Im doing a recomp right now, 20 percent above maintenance on trainingdays (4 days a week) and 20 below on restdays. Also, lowfat on trainingsdays because fat gets stored more easy as bodyfat when in a caloric surplus. Lowcarb on restdays.

I make something similar to this for my detox diet. I buy all organic and add celery, kale, and cucumbers. If you squeeze in a lemon/lime you won't taste the vegetables at all.
Instead of fruit juice, try this with one scoop of vanilla casein protein. Taste like banana split ice cream. I actually used dymatize cinnamon bun flavor casein and it was awesome.

Michael I have the same food scale as you. When I was looking at the screen from the bottom I saw ml (milliliter) do you know how to measure in ml using this scale? I tried searching the internet but no use

You dont need always Proteins just , alot of fresh and good vegetables makes the same point . You will feel healthier and much stronger . Great video michael .
