"fractal" just means having non-integer Hausdorff dimension. It doesn't necessarily require infinite "recursion" (self similarity), and conversely, there are also sets *with* infinite self similarity that are not fractals. Of course, it does require something akin to "infinite detail", which is probably what you mean. That is to say, a set with non-integer fractal dimension necessarily has measure 0 in the locally Euclidean space in which it is embedded, but necessarily cannot be embedded in a space of 1 fewer dimension by a diffeomorphism. This means that it is in some sense "infinitely thin" everywhere, but "smooth" almost nowhere, in the space in which it is embedded (what might be loosely considered "infinite detail").
What a great storyline! It was spectacular watching Fractal’s story in Genesis with alongside some parts that I never knew in the tournament! Great to see what happens in CTWC!
Fractal is so cool. He has become such a pillar of the community. His nickname for Alex T being the "impossible child" is very apt as far as Alex's gameplay and his antics 😂 Can't wait to see everyone's performances in Pasadena this weekend at CTWC! 🎉
Alex T saying that there's not enough latency in the Apple Vision Pro to affect his Tetris play is probably the biggest selling point I've heard for the device.
Here because of Scuti crashing the game, your video about it being recommended, and then down the rabbit hole i went. Watched the majority of CTWC this year and was in awe of the player talent. I'm from Portland and I'm very sad I'm one year late to that being the CTWC location, but I'm glad there is still a regional and I'll be there to cheer them on. Hoping to see some of the top players there!
Who else has noticed aGameScout’s production value has improved? This channel deserves all the attention and love it’s getting. The grind is being rewarded.
I say this almost every video, but these guys are just as impressive as people as they are players. Fractal’s thoughts and approach to prioritizing growing the scene illustrates the foresight and awareness that’s required to compete at the level he does.
I have to still think fractal is the favorite. He is right there with the young kids on talent, and he has experience and consistency on his side. There are so many players who could feasibly win though, it is impossible to predict.
Another great video. Thank you for everything you do for the community. I'm so sad I won't be able to make it to CTWC. I'm hoping next year to make it happen.
It just struck me that despite following this scene for a while, I still don't know the actual names of most of these guys. I had no idea Fractal was Justin.
Thx for the video! Doesn’t play tetris (a little bit want now but don’t know where to start) but I start watching it in this year bc of some tetris-related videos I watched since last November, can’t wait to the Worlds.🎉
It's so great how from the start of your channel you have talked about the game itself and every player individually with the utmost athletic respect. Not every gaming community respects everyone equally, you have made Tetris accessible to many and Blue Scooty to me is like saying Grubby or Leeroy
Amazing video. I love fractal, not just as a player and spectator, but as a friend after knowing him now for nearly 5 years. Can't wait for ctwc this weekend!
its hard being a world champion.... people just dont know how hard it is to be a world champion like Fractral... with the other stuff and also CTWC this weekend hope factal and the other good luck.
I thought I was too late with that article, I didn't know you were making a video the day before the event. I watched this video the morning it was uploaded, it did not sink in for me that I was going to meet you later that day.
I don't play tetris or cannot say that I'm even a part of this community. But I've been so enthralled by this community ever since I saw summoning salt's video, as well as your other video on Alex T about the scene. This community has an amazing ability to paint storylines and I insta click these videos as soon as I see them pop up on my timeline.
@@cosinev1265 bruh you unironically call this milking? He probably posted twice because the championship is tomorrow. Either way, scout got over 10 million views on his video how is he milking summoning salt?
@@domonkoshpalko-gyurina7563Eh I would disagree. I think AlexT still isn’t at his peak. So I think he might be a good contender for next year but I think I will be rooting for Joseph darker because some old comments said that he has been practicing with a new type of Tetris technique even BETTER than rolling. But for now AlexT is still improving and he will get the first rebirth and become the same celeb as blue scuti
Can't wait to see you again this weekend. It will be extraordinary. Eyes Wide Open.
good luck on ctwc:) dont disappoint us :D

I don't think AlexT takes himself seriously lol
I was surprised he's also a Video Game Orchestra, Fractal161 has alot of talents and is one of the best person i know. Great Video!
I see Tetris community as a one big wholesome family. Simple as.
This is the best independently created coverage of a competitive gaming pursuit I have ever seen. Wish there was something like this for pinball.
