There's something that really draws people, especially kids to Scuti. Before things went viral, I was showing my nieces the December CTM finals live, and they all decided that they were cheering for Scuti, and were all very excited when Scuti won.
Every time I am reminded of just how widespread and well known Scuti's achievement is, I can't help but think two things, simultaneously: 1) He absolutely deserves all the recognition he's gained but also 2) It's tragic that Fractal missed this achievement by millimeters, and for that simple bit of bad luck, will never get the same recognition outside of the community that Scuti has I wish Scuti all the best in navigating his newfound fame, and hope he continues to excel at Tetris. Hot Take: Despite just being 13 years old, Blue Scuti is already a Goat, one of the best Tetris players of all-time! Longevity is unnecessary. He caused the very first gamecrash!
He's certainly in contention! That being said, it would be controversial to even say he's the best player who's currently active, so marking him as greatest of all time would be a bit of a tough sell. With another few years of consistently good results though? Yeah, he'll absolutely be up for GOAT status.
Blue scuti is absolutely not GOAT status yet, that will belong for a long time to Jonas. Heck, scuti has only won 1 monthly title compared to Dog Fractal and Koryan who have all won something like 10 CTMs.
@@Babyshark-co8ks Blue Scuti received worldwide attention. Longevity is the lamest criterion to determine a player's career. Blue Scuti has the skills to win the World Championships in Tetris!
Blue Scuti changed the game for everyone. He gave all the top players motivation to get better when it seemed like there was a ceiling on how far they could go.
The most impressive thing to me is watching these young guys live up to the etching on the back of the J piece and how it elevates each of them as well as Jonas’ legacy simultaneously

Seems like a great kid. I've been following the Tetris scene for a little bit now, and I know I've said this before, but I really enjoy how wholesome it is.
Props to all the folks involved behind the scenes that keep everything awesome for players.
I hope scuti does well at this weekend's ctwc along with others like Myles, tristop, fractal, Alex, and sidnev.
I'll be looking out for your coverage video of course!
He’s like the “11-year old Magnus Carlsen” of Tetris
Blue scuti is absolutely not GOAT status yet, that will belong for a long time to Jonas. Heck, scuti has only won 1 monthly title compared to Dog Fractal and Koryan who have all won something like 10 CTMs.
@@Babyshark-co8ks Blue Scuti received worldwide attention. Longevity is the lamest criterion to determine a player's career. Blue Scuti has the skills to win the World Championships in Tetris!
The Tetris scene is full of amazing stories. Great. video!
Heart strings at the end. Another fantastic vid
The fact that Scuti is around my age is pretty empowering, it makes me feel like I haven’t reached my video game expiry date yet.
I love how those kids, really root the competition on to win. It's the ultimate friendly sportsmanship.
It’s really interesting on how the kids goals were line and level based instead of score based
to be fair u gotta get to the higher pre-29 levels first to even think about getting scores even above 200k
You can get 200k only level 9 fairly easily
Dad here. Wasn't expecting a gutpunch at the end. Oof.
Great video.
What an awesome video. Such joy and sadness rolled into one. GameScout you certainly know how to make a video. Scuti's achievement certainly deserved the recognition he got and it's a real shame his dad could not share in it. All the best Blue Scuti and all the best GameScout!
This year was wild for the Classic Tetris scene. I wish Jonas Neubauer was here to see all of this.
with all of this recognition blue scuti is getting, you cant help but think about fractal who's watching as all of this happens from the sidelines
It's just like the second guy who landed on the moon
I dont think he would of gotten as much recognition as blue scutti u fortunately it might of made a few gaming headlines but probably not make much news outside of gaming outlets
😢 I already knew, but I DIDNT KNOW HE GOT INTO The Oklahoma Hall of Fame. That's wild being so young and beautifully touching he put a picture with his father inside. ❤ he's a good kid. Didn't know that was going on this weekend. Gonna keep an eye out.
I met bluescuti at So cal gaming expo. Just a fantastic tetris player all around. 🎉
didnt think i would be crying over the end of a tetris video but here we are.
his story is so inspiring to me. I know his achievement got me into the rabbit hole of watching tetris content and i'm glad it did. I know his father would be proud of everything he achieved and i know he'll achieve so much more in the coming months and years. A real living legend.
I really hope he wins this weekend; it would be a perfect capstone to the last year of Tetris progress.
The sports hall of fame!! Incredible!!! Congrats Scuti!!!
And thanks Game Scout for your impecable reporting for us average joes who are only recently learning of the amazing world of tetris
Let's not forget to appreciate GameScout's efforts. I sincerely think that Blue Scuti's accomplishment wouldn't have reached so many people if it weren't for amazing videos like this one!
Wow! what a tear jerker. I never knew about his dad. None of the news stories I heard ever covered that.
Not many people in the media want to talk about heart attacks these days.
Crazy I’ve just watched 2.5hrs of Tetris videos
And honestly
It really is down to your documentary style video you’ve made
Well done sir
He deserves every celebration towards him. Hes done amazing and im hoping the absolute best for him.
2:14 i am from brazil & see this part on this video its amazing, i was watching it live on the tv w/ my grand parents & i literally said every single detail of this achivement, blue scuti, youre amazing
Hey mom, I'm the best in the world at 13.
Mom: nice, high five kiddo
Glad you made it to Texas last minute to document everything thank for the fantastic coverage ❣️❣️❣️
Literally clicked this profile to see if there would be a new video. Thanks for all tour hard work.
Nice to see what Scuti's been up to. A well-made video!
I agree. Also, I don't know who you are, but that's a really cute baby in that profile picture!
I don't know if this is just me but this video made me realise that John Green and Hank Green are different people... I swear I thought they were the same guy they look so alike
Brothers
I like that you were humbled enough to show someone else's' videos for "We saw all the TH-cam videos pop up".
But you know damn right they were your videos they saw LOL ;)
Great work as always! As a gamer who doesn't play Tetris, your videos have been so exciting to follow along with. Never thought I would have any interest at all in competitive Tetris, but you do such a great job giving context to everything! Keep up the great work.
His story is so tragic and beautiful at the same time. I wish this "little" trooper all the best for his future life. Best wishes also for his siblings and all his family too of course!
I love his little Yoshi plushies, they're so cute
honestly, just congrats to Scuti, what Hes done is nothing short of incredible, I just only hope the other players that tried to crash the game also get recognition as this wasn't entirely a solo effort.
You've got me tearing up with that ending.
What I absolutely love is that is confident about holding his plushies. My daughter was like that as well at that age. You be you!
Never realized how intense coloured block game can be but dang this is actually very captivating. Great community too unlike other competitive gaming scenes
such a nice video and story!!.. thanks for sharing
congratulations on 💯videos, and they are only ever betting better! 🥳🎉
Probably by far the best competitive community I’ve ever seen, they all root for each other and still have that competitive drive to try to beat they’re opponents I might have to show up to an event someday!
It smells at the events tho they don’t shower
Thank you for making this video❤
Nothing but bangers from this channel
scuti dad not seeing scuti reach world wide fame upsets me on the same level as jonas not being able to see rolling. what a cruel world i want to cry
Still have the scuti donuts pic on my phone!
Damn Sharky! Pretty sure you would have given even Jonas a hard time with those scores... Very impressive!
These videos are such a mood 😊♥
Blue Scuti has made a name for himself in the Tetris scene. I congratulate him for doing what was impossible and making it possible.
Also, O7(both seriously and as a meme(to lighten the mood a bit)) for Scuti's dad. I bet he would be so proud of Scuti for pulling off one of the biggest achievements in not just all of Tetris history, but in all of gaming history as well.
I love the Tetris community, started by Jonas and others. They always cheer when their competitor do something great, like Sharky does in this video. Great work as always, aGameScout! 👍
Great video followup! Thanks for this.
Another great video Scout ❤
Top notch story telling. Thank you.
Amazing video as always!!!! Go Blue Scuti 💙
Scuti had been very good, I started watching Classic Tetris because of Willis crashing the game. I watched how far he came such as the time where Willis, got to LVL 212 with Tetris Gym. I’m glad how far Willis has come from the game crash!
18:00 Rock Band mentioned, and our community still exists, Rock Band 3 Deluxe (our quality-of-life mod) is better than ever
Tetris might have the most wholesome esport community out there.
The scene for the game I love died. It makes me so happy to see one live this long and thrive
