I was watching this tutorial to learn how to make my own stickers (which was super helpful, thank you for this video) and then I saw your sticker logo and it looked so familiar and then I realized you’ve sent me stickers before. 😘❤️✨
Jackie!
I know it's kinda randomly asking but do anyone know a good site to stream new movies online ?
@Messiah Kendrick Flixportal :D
@Kieran Jimmy thank you, I signed up and it seems to work :) Appreciate it!
@Messiah Kendrick happy to help xD
OMG... you are awesome... I followed your instructions to the letter and everything came out PERFECT!!! I have been so intimidated by my silhouette that I can count on both hands how many times I've actually used it... smh... I'm cutting my own stickers, creating and cutting my own die cuts ... I am just having me a big ole ball... YAY FOR ME!!!!! THANK YOU soooo much! Be Blessed.
So glad I could help! I love my machine!
How would you do die cuts ?
Thanks for this video. I purchased a silhouette 2 machine recently to print my own stickers and to start an Etsy shop. I tagged you in one of my videos.
I about to purchase one to start my own sticker shop as well. Thanks for such an informative video!
Thanks so much for this guide.
I’ve been debating whether to buy a silhouette portrait2 or Cameo or just save up for another month and buy a Cricut E-Air but this shows it does exactly what I need for cheaper! Very helpful
update - purchased and currently using this video to set it up
this is the most helpful youtube video about cutting stickers with the silhouette portrait.
thank you so much
Aww thank you! Glad I could help!
This is very helpful. I bought one last Christmas as a present for myself and just opened today. I’ve got a lot to learn. I wish there was Silhouette Portrait for dummies book.😂
Thanks, I picked this machine up today and used your video to get me started. It helped alot and was very easy to follow. Thanks
I'm so glad I found your video. Some this im using to cut my stickers and some it i had to figure out the hard way. You connected the dots Thank you times 2!♥
Thanks a lot for making this video! I'm thinking about getting a cutting machine, and this detailed tutorial helped me a lot!!!
Thanks you so much for making this video. I am interested in making and maybe eventually selling my own stickers, but I wasn't sure how to use a silhouette machine. Still, it looks complicated, but with a little trial and error I'm sure I'll be fine. Thank you! ⭐️
This was 5 yrs ago...and I discovered it now: 5 yrs later
Make sure to subscribe so you'll always on time ;) Ha
Same I just discovered this today
So this to design a sticker is totally customizable? I draw my own designs on photoshop so with this device will I be able to say like design my own dog free hand and will this be able to cut what i ever draw freehand?
ThatsSoMandyQ yes you can! :)
So exciting to go to Hawaii!!
Thanks for the tutorial. So helpful! 😍 so excited to set up my Silhouette
Great instructions...one of the very best videos I've seen on printing stickers. Huge thank you!!!
Wow, thanks so much Leslie! That means a lot :)
Thank you soooo much for this, made my first sticker cut. And in love!
I am not sure why i am watching this video, as i have the same machine and know how to use it....but hey never know maybe find out some new stuff I didn't know about it yet XD And I love watching videos like this lol!
Hehe thanks so much for watching!
Thank you for this informative video. I just ordered my Portrait 3 machine.
What kind of sticker paper did you use?
Thank you for making this video is very helpful. Like anything else that we learn a lot of it is trial and error. I'll definitely save this video to a file. I'm definitely going to be buying a Silhouette now that I've seen your video.
hello, I was wondering if you could tell me what program or site you use to design your stickers, Thanks !
I use Adobe Photoshop!
i recently got my own plotter for my shop and this helped so so much!! and those stickers are really cute 🥺
Yah good luck and have fun with it!
Thank you for showing a video on the printing and how your machine cut it! most of the vid tutorials I watch don't show that, so thanks a lot!
OMG your video has helped me so much, I always had troubles to make my stickers, cause I didnt know that there was the Offset feature :-)
Yah! So happy I could help!
Thanks for the fab tutorial! Love your eye makeup too!
Thank you Kate! :)
Love videos like this! Could you create a video of how you design your stickers?
Thanks :)
really nice video, I want have a question you might be able to help me with,
1st. Do you put your A4 Paper on the matt at the A4 line or the 8,5x11 line?
2nd. I needed to cut a few circle stickers however it always cuts off a bit for example there is a bit of the white sticker paper on my circle, but I don’t want to add a white outline to my logos. Do you have any ideas what I might be doing wrong?
3rd: For sticker sheets I always draw my stickers in Procreate on an 8,5x11 inch size and just import them as they are to silhouette, is that okay ? would you recommend another Procreate size ir technique?
And last would be that your sheet was a bit over the grey grids in the corner does it matter or is it only important that it is not over the cube and corner?
thanx. this is the best tutorial i ever see. thanx again
Well, awesomely nice video. Was just a bit hard to stay with you because you spoke a little fast for me. I also seen where you had some "thumbs down" I wouldn't be surprised if it were others who "just thought!" they made such an educational video, LOL.........and in reference to Missy B's comment, again, probly the same ones I mentioned LOL...........good job young lady, very good!!
Hello Xao. Awesome video!
I have a huge problem and was wondering if you could help? The cut will sometimes be 0.5 to 1mm off to the right or to the left randomly, and sometimes it’s perfectly centered. It’s no glossy. The calibration is perfectly centered and the lenght of the line too.
I have the 5.02 for Portrait 3. Is that the latest firmware update? I tried finding the information on websites but couldn’t find anything.
Thank you so much for taking the time to make these videos. They are very helpful. I have a couple questions, I absolutely love doodling on my IPad but I am very confused when it comes to sizing. Does the size "paper" you draw on the program affect the design?? Are you able to make a videos concentrated more on the designs? 😩 Please!! Thank you again.
This is exactly what I was looking for before I bought a machine from them!! Some tips on using the software itself, thank you! Adding this is my wish list for sure now :)
Yah!! So glad I could help!
Info are said very well and easy to understand and direct to the point.. thank you for this tutorial videi.finally i saw a video that is easy to understand and to follow
Hi again. What kind or type of sticker paper you used and what type of printer you also use?
Planning to start my own sticker printing business.
I will be posting a part 2 video soon! :)
great tutorial video, thanks for making this! Also, I really appreciate the quality audio and lighting, nice job! what kind of printer do you use for stickers?
I use the Canon MG3520 :) Thanks for watching!
Very helpful! Thanks for making this tutorial.

Thanks so much for this!! It was incredibly helpful! :)
This is a really helpful video!
super helpful, thanks a bunch for uploading this!
Of course! Thanks for watching!
Fantastic tutorial, thank you!
OMG your sticker designs are so cute
I use a Canon MG3520 :)
Xao Vang thank you 💖
I'm thinking of starting an etsy shop and I found your videos! I love stickers but idek how to make them to i need a lot of practice lol but they look fun to make. How do you design stickers?
I use photoshop :)
This is so informative, thank you! Can you put multiple sticker sets on one sheet of sticker paper (like 2 or 4 per sheet of paper)? I.e., how can you avoid wasting sticker paper by only printing one set of stickers at a time even tho u don't need all that space?
I only printed this many stickers for the sake of the video. I usually always use up the whole sheet :)
Xao Vang thank you!!
This is so helpful!! Thank you!
You're very welcome!! :)
Do you design your stickers on silhouette or another program and then put them into silhouette to cut?
I design my stickers using Adobe Photoshop and then cut in Silhouette.
This was incredibly helpful! Thank you so much!!!
You're very welcome! :)
I enjoye the video. Thanks for sharing.
Can you still use the machine with a free printable from a website?, or do you have to use a program to cut them out? Plz answer thanks💚
Omg chibi pads!! I'm dead 😂
This was very helpful! Thank you!
thank you so much, this is so helpful :)
i think i'm gonna buy one! Just one question.. What's the name of the program that you used?
+Gloria Dreamer It's the Silhouette software that comes with the machine
+Xao Vang thank you so much 😘
Do I have to use a leaser printer to print out the sticker, before putting it in the Silhouette?
It can be any printer.
Thank you, I just now started to wonder about this as has own ideas =)
Hi, what is the glossy paper you use?
Hi, what canvas/page size are you using in Photoshop when you lay out your sticker images? In other words, do you lay out the images on an 8.5" x 11" canvas size and then scale it down when you import it to the Silhouette program? Thanks in advance! :)
I double the image size so I do it on a 17x22in so that the image is better quality. Then I just scale it down in Silhouette :)
Xao Vang Ok, thanks so much for your reply :)
I see you use a canon printer. What is the machine number? Which canon printer do you like best for printing stickers?
I've never seen anything more complicated in my life!!
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful! Let me know if you have specific questions.
i am glad you made the video exactly like you did. I am thinking of making my own stickers and did not know, where to start. This helped me tremendously - exactly as you made it : )
I saw in other methods that people advised against using laser printers, due to heat sensitivity of the print - but this machine doesn'T work with heat at all, does it?
Thanks a lot for this informative and detailed video : )
Thank you for making this video! It was so helpful! ^_^
This may seem like a weird question, but why not just cut them out with an exacto knife? It seems like the machine takes a lot longer to change all of the settings than it does to just cut them out by hand. I don't mean to criticize, I've just only ever done this by hand and am wondering which method I should use for my potential business.
Ok what do you do with the left over sticker sheet? Isn’t it a waste throwing it away, or do you normally print more stickers on the sheet then store them?
I usually print 4 sticker sheets on one 8.5 x 11 sheet of sticker paper. For the sake of this video, I just printed some stickers on it :)
Thank you sooo much for this tutorial!
Question! So I am using matte paper from onlinelabels, and the sticky part of my paper is not what's being cut? The stickers that I'm cutting aren't sticky? Why would that be?
Lol just turn it over.... otherwise I don't get what you're asking.
Maybe you need to peel it off?? The way you put your sentence grammatically is confusing
Would you mind telling me the name of the paper cutter you use at the end to cut down your sticker sheet? Thank you so much for making this!!
It's the brand The Paper Studio from Hobby Lobby
wow super cool
+Hander Askaro Thanks for watching!
What is the cut settings for the stickers? My silhouette seems to cut all the way through
I'm wondering the same thing. I'd like to do some sticker sheets like she made, but I mostly want it to cut all the way through
Thank you! Finally a good tutorial with clear explanations.
I love the machine but is there a cheaper alternative?
+cookiemuniz lol... I believe the Portrait is the cheapest version. Try checking out Craigslist! ;)
+Sonia Esquivel on sale right now on silhouetteamerica.com for $99+tax with code APRILDEALS until 5/2/16
Did I understand it right, that you can make sure to not cut through the whole stickerpaper but only the sticky foil by adjusting the blade? I just recently purchased a Silhouette Portrait 2 and I don't really got the hang of it just yet.
you can clean off the mat after using and it will clean off those tiny paper scraps left on the mat and after dry will still be sticky.
what type of sticker paper do u use?
I am wondering this too! What kind of sticker sheets work well with the silhouette? Tia
Silhouette makes some that are pricey or you can go to onlinelabels.com...they have a good amount for like 12.95. Also try using full sheet labels you can get from Staples. The only thing is those are not repositionable. Good luck!
thank you such for this video, I recently just bought one and how do you your sticker paper to not roll? every time I take it off the mat it rolls like crazy
When you take it off the mat turn it upside down. So put the sticker paper on the table and roll the mat off.
which software you have been used?
Silhouette studio :)
Holy Moly!! That's a lot to remember. Can I get a transcript?? LOL
I am gonna buy one it is so cool
Thanks for this video, great help on deciding whether or not to buy a cutting machine like Silhoutte! Refurbished is a great idea, too.
thank you from France
are you able to upload free files that some blogs offer on this select silhouette?
Hi what printer and sticker paper did you use?
I just wanna ask do u use A4 paper or white matte sticker paper
White matter paper sticker!
thank u so much!
Great video, thank you!
Of course! Thanks for watching! :)
so in order to print and cut stickers, I'll have to use a printer and a cutter; is this correct?
is there an all in one machine that prints and cut? thank you!
That is correct. And I don't know of a machine that can print and cut. That would be awesome though!
Can you get a free printable from a website and still use the cutter? Plz answer thanks💚
As long as the printable has registration marks on it then yes you can
where do you get your images for your stickers?
Made them myself or had artists design them
Is there a program u use to make them?
hi.. what kind of sticker paper did u use?
Hi! I've recently purchased a Portrait, I just tried using it for the first time but apparently my cutting mat is too wide? though it came with the machine itself? would love for some have any advice on what to do?
What size is your cutting mat?
I used my dads measuring tape and it said length was 34.5cm and the width was 22.5cm
Maybe put the mat in the other way?
Can the machine cut the overall border (the one you did by hand) by itself?
Yes it can! You just have to set the border line as a different color and then assign it the cutting settings you want. It's hard to explain..
I am trying to make my stickers and I have selected the area to trace and clicked trace out edge. But I cannot select that section in order to offset the stickers. Once I trace the outer edge the selection box disappears. How can I select that again to offset the stickers? I am not sure if that makes sense!
seems like a hassle, I'll just order them lol
The more you do it the easier it Will be :)
what kind of printers do you use to print those stickers ?
My Canon MG3520
and also how did u design your stickers? if I may ask lol
+christine aging I use Adobe photoshop and I've also paid for some of the designs :)
+Xao Vang it was an awesome video really loved and enjoyed watching it thank you so much sharing 😊😊😊😊😊
great video just subbed ^_^
newbie need help to create stickers on the silhouette portrait do you have a video on that planner stickers
Are you able to cut 8 1/2 x 11 paper with the portrait?
Yes the portrait cuts 8.5 x 11 paper. The Cameo which is bigger can cut up to 12 x 12 I believe
Awesome thank you for the response! I keep reading that it cuts 8x10 I kept wondering why anyone would want that when normal letter is 8 1/2 x 11.
What kind of printer do you use ?
I use a Canon MG3520 :)
Thank you!!
Hi there. Thank you for this great video! Just wondering, the stickers you're uploading, are they jpg or PDF? I just got my silhouette a few weeks ago and am learning still. Thank you!!
Hi! The images are PNG when I import them into Silhouette. And when I save them, it's saved at PDF.
