bought a new one (se)in 10/21. Definitely what I was looking for for power and woods riding. I'd definitely recommend a FI model and the se stock shock upgrade is nice. Almost everyone that has ridden mine that had some pre conceived notions were pleasantly surprised.
I'm not a yamaha guy but it's not bad. I would have tried one sooner if it wasn't called a raptor. I had bad experiences with the 660's in the past but I like it
Garage gang this man is the killer of give aways. I won a ported Honda 400ex head from Matt and it was way more then I expected he did a great job on it. Can't wait to get my 426 back together and rip it with the head on it hopefully next weekend. PEACE.

Still have not figured out the problem with it. I just ended up wiring the start button directly to the solenoid circuit temporarily

The only 700 raptors I have seen have been on the road.
There is a loophole here where you can legally ride quads on the road if registered as farm vehicles. A lot are registered like this.
From reviews I've seen it's a lot more user friendly than the 450. Aimed at a totally different rider.
I seen u can ride them on the street by you. I wish we could do that here. I'm looking at a yfz450 this week. Fingers crossed I get it.

700s are way better then 660s, I had an 04 I believe it was it's the 1st yr they came out
660's were 01 to 05 and the 700's are 06 to now
