Mannnnn! As a Londoner, content creator and BIG fan of Ali.... This was soooooooooo wholesome to watch. I've watched that video about the marathon probably about 18-20 times and I never get over it. When I first discovered Ali 6 months ago (from that same tiktok) I went to watch all his stuff of TH-cam and he INSTANTLY became my favourite TH-camr. INSTANTLY. I came across @aligallop channel from @samdawson and i found sam from loving casey neistat and his breakdown from casey vid led me to ali and i have to say i just binged watched ali channel and bloody hell Im blown away at your channel ali..... your so inspiring. i want to be a creative i just made two littile films on my channel I just started a you tube channel and i dont even have a camera just a smartphone and doing it alone but watching you makes me so inspired to go get a camera and learn also ali ..... how the hell do you pick all the great music ontop your amazing editing. please make 100 more vids and break youtube you deserve all the success in the world

editing style resembles ali’s, he does it better obviously but my two cents stop zooming in and out with hand so much, you said it at 11:46 that Ali didn’t crop in, i zoom in with hand maybe 1-2 times per video max. other than that good vid Sam.
my favorite sam dawson videos are the video breakdowns. the life of riza breakdown video and the casey neistat breakdown video were bangers! (even the mrbeast authenticity one) and this one is not an exception. Hoping that you make more of these breakdown videos. heck DOUBLE DOWN on the breakdowns!

Just little bit more than 300 words in this video and so good story and a lot of emotions. I watched a few more Ali's films and I think he scripting them almost word to word. Sure it is possible to improvise and then make it in the edit, but videos are too good to be recorded in that way.

i’m getting lil bit irritated how much this video editing resembles ali’s style but it doesn’t feel right cuz his style is his and Ali does it best. (the zoom out or in with hand drives me nuts cause you do it so often, it should be 1-2 times per video max so its not overplayed and distracting) other than that you do good job with editing but i can see you imitated a lot of his editing style
Can you not readjust the camera every 10 seconds? It feels pointless and does not add engagement in my opinion. How do others feel? Great video though!

Panasonic Gh6 with Leica lens (think it’s 8-18mm wide angle is one I use a lot)
