  • Purpose of Human Life... Conquering Death... Guru's Blessing... Destruction of the Caste System... Transcending Religion.... Self Discipline.... Power of the True Guru... Experience Vaheguru!.... This must watch conversation highlights misconceptions some Muslims have towards Sikhs. Two sisters learn about basic Sikh philosophy and concepts and are impressed by its Universal message. They found the information enlightening and wished more people were aware of it.
We encourage everyone to engage with the general public and spread awareness of Sikhi to help dispel misconceptions.
Street Parchar can be done anywhere!
Watch This Next: • Muslim family question... Muslim family question and then praise Sikhi!
We are encouraging everyone to get involved with SAFE Parchar (Sikhi Awareness For Everyone).

Hello I am a Muslim. I would like you to know that Sikhism is a beautiful faith and I wish that Allah/Waheguru blesses you all. I’m so honoured to have discovered Sikhism. You people are so good at heart. You’re Gods people for sure. I urge everyone to listen to the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. He is the guru for humanity, for all of mankind.

@@smileyface8412 Is Allah formless? If yes, then immanent soul is also Allah. if you say, allah is not like any other form or greater than any form, then is it the cosmos? islam's monotheistic understanding of so called "god" is half baked since it does not accept the immanence of the formless divine in the form of souls. Without the immanent divine or soul, nothing can be perceived in its current form. In other words, no duality cycles of matter can be perceived and nothing exists but the truth is everything exists (touch yourself). This is Sankhya vedic metaphysics which can be validated by double slit quantum experiment and embodied experience (focus + 112 meditation techniques).

Even though I'm a Muslim, I'm so inspired by this video. It encourages me to learn more about other people's faith as there's only ONE TRUE GOD no matter the name people use. The guy is encouraging me more to practise my religion, this is so simar to Islam; we should always remember GOD and only worship and seek guidance from him and spiritually cleanse ourselves.
We should set aside our differences and UNITE to defeat the evil and also guide other people to GOD our creator.

Hi Basics of Sikhi It was a good discussion, and i respect your religious views. How ever whats missing here is this; i can for example say the concept of christianity of someone dying for my sins and i go heaven sounds amazing, and many concepts of many religions are amazing. but the issue is that is the sriptures really from God? thats the main factor. other wise ill just make my own religion and say everyones going heaven, it sounds amazing but is it true. : )

    • @akhifilms4374
      @akhifilms4374 9 ปีที่แล้ว +4

***** What you have to understand is this, The Quran VALIDATES itself (however I won't discuss this). Whenever someone comes with a claim it is always questioned. for Example if a scientist comes up with a scientific theory it is scrutinized by other experts and similarly the credentials of the individual come into account. for example if the scientist above didn't study science in fact didn't know 1+1 was 2 then his thesis would be disregarded. Similarly what allowed the prophet peace be upon him to get followers in the first place was that he had a status as a prerequisite and that was he was known as the ''the truthful one'' so whether he said the sky was green after 40 year of telling solid truths people would believe him thinking their eyes are faulty. 2ndly at the time of the prophet people questioned him. This was a man who could not read or write so when he came with such meticulous text, the experts came to attempt to debunk it and just couldn't (bear in mind this was a prime time of linguistics). In addition to this if you as an individual made up an idea for example a being in a cave told you if you drink cold water on a cold day it will make you warm, your logic would make you think im a liar until you TEST it or UNDERSTAND the logic. however if you explained to me that cold water would make the effectors in your body counteract to do its best to keep the body warm thus making the body warmer then you would accept my claim about cold water because it APPEALS to your intellect. the Quran makes sence and appeal to my intellect thats why I believe it, if it went against common sense then I would reject it.

Akhi Films what you're saying is knee deep in subjectivity it's unreal lmao. as Sikhs, we know what the Guru said is truth because it works. Not only does it work, we can look at their lives as they lived what they preached. The 9th Guru gave his life to protect the Hindu faith and the other faiths in India from being forcefully converted to Islam. Tell me this, if a Jew came to Muhammad in his time saying Christians are forcefully converting us - would Muhammad give his life for the Jew? I don't think so. The Guru was one with the Divine, they looked upon all of humanity as One. The Guru's path works, if you don't believe it try it - you'll see for yourself.

    • @arjansingh1946
      @arjansingh1946 9 ปีที่แล้ว +14

Ali Dawah because it works. do this, follow your 'own' religion for 1 month and see if you experience the Divine. Then after the month, follow Satguru Nanak's path and you'll see for yourself. The experience validates itself.

+Yasmin Adams ... hello Yasmin ... i jus saw ur above comment to "disprove any one sentence of the Quran ...."
Pls note that as a Sikh and the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev ji, they do not say that Sikhi is better than Quran. Guru Nanak Dev was treated as a PEER by the known PEERS of the times... as he did not teach tht one religion is better than the other.... he preached to rise above the limits being practiced ... see each as a SOUL ( HUMAN ) and not as a MUSLIM OR a HINDU etc..... can u understand where he was coming from ?
In his words... EK NOOR TE SABB JAG UPJEYA, KON BHALE KON MANDE ... meaning, from one source all of this humanity has developed, how to say who is good and who is bad.... do u understand what message he was trying to share with the world ?
Sikh does not tell u to change to Sikhi only then u will be able to attain salvation ... infact it tells you to follow the path that you have chosen diligently and faithfully, as it gives you peace, and enroute treat others fairly and with respect.... these are the priniciples of Sikhi as taught by Guru Nanak Dev ji.

Guru ji truly blessed these two on this day and seeing that they have a relationship with God as it is i have a feeling they thanked God for this conversation as it seemed to have strengthened their own connection with the one true being.

Sikhs and Muslims had been always friend except the time of Mughal emperor Aurangjeb. Many Muslims like myself don't support what Aurangjeb did. Aurangjeb's actions was unforgivable like he had his own brothers killed, tried to forcefully convert HIndus in South and also killed Sikh's Guru and many other atrocities. He was the reason Mughal empire came to an end and left very vulnerable toward outside attacks. SALAM

Tough to believe that one is more holy than other. I think any message which brings us closer to GOD, WAHEGURU, ALLAH,RAM MUST BE AUTHENTIC. ONLY A SELECTED FEW ARE SENT BY OUR CREATOR TO LEAD A PIOUS WAY OF LIFE FOR THE BETTERMENT OF HUMANITY. it is NOT upto you or me or EVEN ZAKIR NAIK . I UNDERSTAND THE EMOTIONAL STATE OF YOUR MIND BEING A MUSLIM , AND YOU CAN SAY IN AFFECTION OF HOLY MAN MOHAMMMED , BUT THE FACT REMAINS THAT CREATOR DOES NOT DISCRIMINATE BETWEEN DIFFERENT SO CALLED RELIGIONS.i can write on and on on this but the bottom line is lets get to path of enlightment by treating fellow human beings as we want to be treated.

DiscoverALLAH7777777 calm down there mate, you do realize 75% of converts leave Islam within the first few years, don't you? Islam is growing primarily due to high birthrates, nothing else. As far as conversions are concerned 6 million Muslims convert to Christianity in Africa alone every year. But of course you'll never bring that up :)
Let me ask you: where is the objective historical evidence that prophets were sent to the Chinese and Native Americans? Islam claims your god sent prophets to every people, so where were these people's prophets? Where was the prophet sent to the ancient Indians?

'Disprove one... just one sentence of the Quran if what you say is the truth'.
Oh OK, take any abrogated verses of your choice LOL! '
Elements of truth can exist in both Islam and Sikhism.
Statement A: 'Jane was wearing a red dress.'
Statement B: 'Jane was wearing a long red dress.'
So there are elements of truth in both statements.
Koran was not documented properly during the lifetime of the prophet, but the final version was drawn up hundreds of years later. As you guys like saying, he couldn't read or write. Also he thought he was mad when he heard the revelations through Gabril. And he admitted that one message was from Satan.
It was allegedly written on leaves, bits of rock and wood etc. - not a fool-proof way of preserving accuracy. Why don't you write your Will or accept a cheque in this way, and hope little bits or leaves don't fly away? LOL
There were many versions in circulation, which is why Uthman had to burn many versions.
It was memorised, but what if you memorise from a version? So there would have been 'Chinese Whispers' variances.

I am torn with your point saying that we are all equal @13:45, as Muhammad [PBUH] in his farewell sermon and Muslims understanding relating to this matter is that:
*"All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white [person] has no superiority over [a] black [person] nor does a black [person] have any superiority over white [people] except by piety and good action - [Also] learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood."*
_Furthermore regarding the matter, Allah says in the Qur’an:_
*"O' mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted."*
    _[Qur'an:__49:13__]_
Allah states from the above quote in the Qur’an that people are made equal in God’s eyes and one’s true test of character is not decided by what “tribe or ethnicity” he/she is from but rather how virtuous and pious the individual is.
_So I would like to know more about Sikhism and what would be its stance regarding the above verse in the Qur'an and the quote from Muhammad alongside what is Sikhism's beliefs in regards to Adam and Eve, etc. _

Justin Credible Muhammad said race doesn't matter and the only thing which separates human beings is "good deeds" along with "piety". The definition: "In spiritual terminology, piety is a virtue that may include religious devotion, spirituality, or a mixture of both." What does 'piety' mean in Islam? Is it religious devotion (to Islam?? spiritual devotion (to God?) or some mixture of both?
Is it possible for non-Muslims to fit this definition of 'piety', considering Muhammad claimed himself to be the "seal of prophets"? Sikhs specifically are an interesting group to consider since their religion came after Islam. Muslims can argue that Jews/Christians are accepted by the Qur'an because they may have been valid messages and are also of Abrahamic lineage, but how do you account for Sikhs who reject Muhammad's claim to finality and follow a scripture which came after the Qur'an? How can these people be 'pious' by the Qur'anic definition?

Interesting ideas, but they are just that man's ideas. It would be impossible for everyone to be born on equal footing. Just because it doesn't "sound" fair doesn't make it so. It all has to do with the heart. Nothing else matters. All are born equal in his eyes. It is up to us to seek after him. When we do that He makes the difference. He always makes the difference for those who seek him! How you are born doesn't matter!

    • @gdblackthorn4137
      @gdblackthorn4137 6 ปีที่แล้ว

I said that those that call on the Lord where He will hear them will make up the difference. I have seen it so many times I cannot tell you. People from India, African countries, and other poor places around the world brought to a place where they can serve him. I know of many hundred in India that serve God, hungry or not. There are those here that come to their aid and assist...
Those people born deaf and blind in third world countries without food or water that call on the Lord and if their heart is right he will be brought out of that situation to a place where the Lord can further deal with his heart. In some parts of the world where people are so far from the Lord there may be few that reach that point in their heart where they are saved. Many people in western countries have forgotten God and have turned to Darwinism. Those that are suffering in life have a much better opportunity for salvation than those that have everything! This is because they think they have no needs so they will never turn to God for his help. "Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me: Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain." There is a scripture that says "The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God."
When a nation forgets God then there are fewer that escape death because unless their hearts are right with God they will never find him. This is where the United States and other countries are going. "And when the LORD saw it, he abhorred them, because of the provoking of his sons, and of his daughters. And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faith. They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God; they have provoked me to anger with their vanities: and I will move them to jealousy with those which are not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation. For a fire is kindled in mine anger, and shall burn unto the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains. I will heap mischiefs upon them; I will spend mine arrows upon them. They shall be burnt with hunger, and devoured with burning heat, and with bitter destruction: I will also send the teeth of beasts upon them, with the poison of serpents of the dust. The sword without, and terror within, shall destroy both the young man and the virgin, the suckling also with the man of gray hairs."
This is the judgement of God! Those that turn to God will be saved! Note that that paragraph is not speaking of a burning Hell in the ground, but Hell here on Earth! This is the lowest Hell!
I know we will not agree with each other and I hold no animosity towards you or other Siks. As a matter of fact I am more and more encouraged by those of you that can stand side by side with those that disagree with you and peacefully make this a better world.
I am a Christian, but I believe in what the Bible teaches so our beliefs will differ. I actually am enjoying this conversation as I can see how our beliefs differ so greatly. I only wish you well, so please do not think evil of me.

    • @gdblackthorn4137
      @gdblackthorn4137 6 ปีที่แล้ว

No all religions are not man made! The authors were inspired by God so they are his words! They are not the words of man! So NO, man did not write the Bible and nowhere does it say so! Most religions contradict one another so it is impossible to say that they all lead to God. You cannot say take this straight road to the east and it will take you south for it will not. Most so called Christian religions contradict each other because they have taken his words and twisted them. That is why there are thousands of types of religions.
No I don't believe the Bible was written by man; it was written by God through his servants! The Quran was written by a man who loved women, power, and money! He took pieces from different religions and made one of his own! The Quran is full of hated, murdering, and the abuse of women! Their is nothing spiritual in the thing. I have read and studied much of it!
No, I don't believe in people being condemned to a burning Hell in the ground as those that really understand the Bible don't believe either. The Bible is full of things that are spiritually discerned; just as there was no tree in the garden of Eden for Adam and Eve to partake in! That was not a literal garden and there was no literal snake there either. The serpent represents something just as the tree does. To eat means to partake of; they were not eating an apple. The Bible Doesn't even say that there is an apple. It mentions fruit! There is much that is taken literally that is just figurative. There are religions that use the lie of a burning Hell to blackmail people into belonging to their religion. It gives them power and money! I don't blindly follow anything! I have studied and studied many things until I have found what is required! The problem is that you are having difficulty discussing this with me because of your idea of what Christianity really is. A true Christian is Christ like. To be that takes several years of reading, study, denying oneself, and prayer. I have just stated what I believe. You are free to believe what you will. I have no problem with that!

Re caste system you're right, but it's not important in many walks of life. Pakistanis have the above-mentioned castes as well, but less so. Being always a minority, influence of Hindus and Muslims have dominated Sikhs.
The caste system was a creation of Hinduism and is still quite prevalent in Hindu areas as you're aware.
Re violent history, Sikhism as a religion does not allow violence unless it is self-defense and the last resort. Sikhs have been a minority throughout, and were the Oppressed rather than the Oppressors, oppressed first by the tyrannical Mughal emperors and then the British, then the Hindus (1984 etc).
For about 500 years, India was invaded and settled in by all types of Muslims: Arabs, Turkics, Central Asians, Afghans, Mughals. Yet you talk of Sikh violent history. Hope you pardon their efforts of self-defense, although you would obviously prefer them to have converted to Muslims forthwith LOL!!
If you're referring to the 1947 partition, that was six of one, half a dozen of the other. The need for partition anyway was due to Jinnah's insistence on an Islamic state and the British messing up by not controlling the safe passage of millions of people.
Although all religions allow self-defence, eastern religions are comparatively peaceful. They believe that everyone has a soul so it naturally follows that you have to respect all human beings and all life.
You're right, violence occurs everywhere and with everyone, but don't confuse the perpetrator with the victim.
Islam is perhaps unique in that Jahad is a religious duty and violence is sanctioned and in fact demanded by large chunks of its holy scriptures. As you're aware, the message from your holy book has to be spread for all time and all parts. There is only peace when everyone becomes Muslim, or people become more humane and progressive, and do not take your holy book literally. That's why there is always long-term conflict: Muslims v Christians, v Jews, v Hindus, v Sikhs, v Buddhists, v Parsees (who had to convert or flee Iran) v Jains, v Ahmadiyyas, v Communists.
Please acquaint yourself with your scriptures.

    Surah 19. Maryam (Mary)
{1} Kaf, Ha, Ya, ‘Ayn, Sad.
{2} [This is] a mention of the mercy of your Lord to His servant Zechariah
{3} When he called to his Lord a private supplication.
{4} He said, “My Lord, indeed my bones have weakened, and my head has filled with white, and never have I been in my supplication to You, my Lord, unhappy.
{5} And indeed, I fear the successors after me, and my wife has been barren, so give me from Yourself an heir
{6} Who will inherit me and inherit from the family of Jacob. And make him, my Lord, pleasing [to You].”
{7} [He was told], “O Zechariah, indeed We give you good tidings of a boy whose name will be John. We have not assigned to any before [this] name.”
{8} He said, “My Lord, how will I have a boy when my wife has been barren and I have reached extreme old age?”
{9} [An angel] said, “Thus [it will be]; your Lord says, ‘It is easy for Me, for I created you before, while you were nothing.’ ”
{10} [Zechariah] said, “My Lord, make for me a sign.” He said, “Your sign is that you will not speak to the people for three nights, [being] sound.”
{11} So he came out to his people from the prayer chamber and signaled to them to exalt [ Allah ] in the morning and afternoon.
{12} [ Allah ] said, “O John, take the Scripture with determination.” And We gave him judgement [while yet] a boy
{13} And affection from Us and purity, and he was fearing of Allah
{14} And dutiful to his parents, and he was not a disobedient tyrant.
{15} And peace be upon him the day he was born and the day he dies and the day he is raised alive.
{16} And mention, [O Muúammad], in the Book [the story of] Mary, when she withdrew from her family to a place toward the east.
{17} And she took, in seclusion from them, a screen. Then We sent to her Our Angel, and he represented himself to her as a well-proportioned man.
{18} She said, “Indeed, I seek refuge in the Most Merciful from you, [so leave me], if you should be fearing of Allah .”
{19} He said, “I am only the messenger of your Lord to give you [news of] a pure boy.”
{20} She said, “How can I have a boy while no man has touched me and I have not been unchaste?”
{21} He said, “Thus [it will be]; your Lord says, ‘It is easy for Me, and We will make him a sign to the people and a mercy from Us. And it is a matter [already] decreed.’ ”
{22} So she conceived him, and she withdrew with him to a remote place.
{23} And the pains of childbirth drove her to the trunk of a palm tree. She said, “Oh, I wish I had died before this and was in oblivion, forgotten.”
{24} But he called her from below her, “Do not grieve; your Lord has provided beneath you a stream.
{25} And shake toward you the trunk of the palm tree; it will drop upon you ripe, fresh dates.
{26} So eat and drink and be contented. And if you see from among humanity anyone, say, ‘Indeed, I have vowed to the Most Merciful abstention, so I will not speak today to [any] man.’ ”
{27} Then she brought him to her people, carrying him. They said, “O Mary, you have certainly done a thing unprecedented.
{28} O sister of Aaron, your father was not a man of evil, nor was your mother unchaste.”
{29} So she pointed to him. They said, “How can we speak to one who is in the cradle a child?”
{30} [Jesus] said, “Indeed, I am the servant of Allah . He has given me the Scripture and made me a prophet.
{31} And He has made me blessed wherever I am and has enjoined upon me prayer and zakah as long as I remain alive
{32} And [made me] dutiful to my mother, and He has not made me a wretched tyrant.
{33} And peace is on me the day I was born and the day I will die and the day I am raised alive.”
{34} That is Jesus, the son of Mary - the word of truth about which they are in dispute.
{35} It is not [befitting] for Allah to take a son; exalted is He! When He decrees an affair, He only says to it, “Be,” and it is.
{36} [Jesus said], “And indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. That is a straight path.”
{37} Then the factions differed [concerning Jesus] from among them, so woe to those who disbelieved - from the scene of a tremendous Day.
{38} How [clearly] they will hear and see the Day they come to Us, but the wrongdoers today are in clear error.
{39} And warn them, [O Muúammad], of the Day of Regret, when the matter will be concluded; and [yet], they are in [a state of] heedlessness, and they do not believe.
{40} Indeed, it is We who will inherit the earth and whoever is on it, and to Us they will be returned.
{41} And mention in the Book [the story of] Abraham. Indeed, he was a man of truth and a prophet.
{42} [Mention] when he said to his father, “O my father, why do you worship that which does not hear and does not see and will not benefit you at all?
{43} O my father, indeed there has come to me of knowledge that which has not come to you, so follow me; I will guide you to an even path.
{44} O my father, do not worship Satan. Indeed Satan has ever been, to the Most Merciful, disobedient.
{45} O my father, indeed I fear that there will touch you a punishment from the Most Merciful so you would be to Satan a companion [in Hellfire].”
{46} [His father] said, “Have you no desire for my gods, O Abraham? If you do not desist, I will surely stone you, so avoid me a prolonged time.”
{47} [Abraham] said, “Peace will be upon you. I will ask forgiveness for you of my Lord. Indeed, He is ever gracious to me.
{48} And I will leave you and those you invoke other than Allah and will invoke my Lord. I expect that I will not be in invocation to my Lord unhappy.”
{49} So when he had left them and those they worshipped other than Allah, We gave him Isaac and Jacob, and each [of them] We made a prophet.
{50} And We gave them of Our mercy, and we made for them a reputation of high honor.
{51} And mention in the Book, Moses. Indeed, he was chosen, and he was a messenger and a prophet.
{52} And We called him from the side of the mount at [his] right and brought him near, confiding [to him].
{53} And We gave him out of Our mercy his brother Aaron as a prophet.
{54} And mention in the Book, Ishmael. Indeed, he was true to his promise, and he was a messenger and a prophet.
{55} And he used to enjoin on his people prayer and zakah and was to his Lord pleasing.
{56} And mention in the Book, Idrees. Indeed, he was a man of truth and a prophet.
{57} And We raised him to a high station.
{58} Those were the ones upon whom Allah bestowed favor from among the prophets of the descendants of Adam and of those We carried [in the ship] with Noah, and of the descendants of Abraham and Israel, and of those whom We guided and chose. When the verses of the Most Merciful were recited to them, they fell in prostration and weeping.
{59} But there came after them successors who neglected prayer and pursued desires; so they are going to meet evil -
{60} Except those who repent, believe and do righteousness; for those will enter Paradise and will not be wronged at all.
{61} [Therein are] gardens of perpetual residence which the Most Merciful has promised His servants in the unseen. Indeed, His promise has ever been coming.
{62} They will not hear therein any ill speech - only [greetings of] peace - and they will have their provision therein, morning and afternoon.
{63} That is Paradise, which We give as inheritance to those of Our servants who were fearing of Allah .
{64} [Gabriel said], “And we [angels] descend not except by the order of your Lord. To Him belongs that before us and that behind us and what is in between. And never is your Lord forgetful -
{65} Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them - so worship Him and have patience for His worship. Do you know of any similarity to Him?”
{66} And the disbeliever says, “When I have died, am I going to be brought forth alive?”
{67} Does man not remember that We created him before, while he was nothing?
{68} So by your Lord, We will surely gather them and the devils; then We will bring them to be present around Hell upon their knees.
{69} Then We will surely extract from every sect those of them who were worst against the Most Merciful in insolence.
{70} Then, surely it is We who are most knowing of those most worthy of burning therein.
{71} And there is none of you except he will come to it. This is upon your Lord an inevitability decreed.
{72} Then We will save those who feared Allah and leave the wrongdoers within it, on their knees.
{73} And when Our verses are recited to them as clear evidences, those who disbelieve say to those who believe, “Which of [our] two parties is best in position and best in association?”
{74} And how many a generation have We destroyed before them who were better in possessions and [outward] appearance?
{75} Say, “Whoever is in error - let the Most Merciful extend for him an extension [in wealth and time] until, when they see that which they were promised - either punishment [in this world] or the Hour [of resurrection] - they will come to know who is worst in position and weaker in soldiers.”
{76} And Allah increases those who were guided, in guidance, and the enduring good deeds are better to your Lord for reward and better for recourse.
{77} Then, have you seen he who disbelieved in Our verses and said, “I will surely be given wealth and children [in the next life]?”
{78} Has he looked into the unseen, or has he taken from the Most Merciful a promise?
{79} No! We will record what he says and extend for him from the punishment extensively.
{80} And We will inherit him [in] what he mentions, and he will come to Us alone.
{81} And they have taken besides Allah [false] deities that they would be for them [a source of] honor.
{82} No! Those “gods” will deny their worship of them and will be against them opponents [on the Day of Judgement].
{83} Do you not see that We have sent the devils upon the disbelievers, inciting them to [evil] with [constant] incitement?
{84} So be not impatient over them. We only count out to them a [limited] number.
{85} On the Day We will gather the righteous to the Most Merciful as a delegation
{86} And will drive the criminals to Hell in thirst
{87} None will have [power of] intercession except he who had taken from the Most Merciful a covenant.
{88} And they say, “The Most Merciful has taken [for Himself] a son.”
{89} You have done an atrocious thing.
{90} The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation
{91} That they attribute to the Most Merciful a son.
{92} And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son.
{93} There is no one in the heavens and earth but that he comes to the Most Merciful as a servant.
{94} He has enumerated them and counted them a [full] counting.
{95} And all of them are coming to Him on the Day of Resurrection alone.
{96} Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - the Most Merciful will appoint for them affection.
{97} So, [O Muúammad], We have only made Qur’an easy in the Arabic language that you may give good tidings thereby to the righteous and warn thereby a hostile people.
{98} And how many have We destroyed before them of generations? Do you perceive of them anyone or hear from them a sound?

I agree it is quite impressive. Some of the above are random extracts of history, which were gleaned from Jews and Christians who used to live in Arabia, or were passing through on the caravan routes.
There is some praise of the Supreme Being there. But a holy book shouldn't be a history book, but only be about prayer and praise of the Supreme Being.
God does not need to make threats and speak of forebodings, or create a Hell afterlife. We don't believe that God would be so wicked as to make a Hell to throw most of his creation into. Would you really want to follow such a being?
Even amongst your fellow Muslims, because only 1 out of 99 tribes is said to be on the right path, they are doomed to fight amongst each other, all claiming to be on the exclusive right path. So they have a licence to fight not just non-Muslims, but themselves as well. Not very Godly at all! In fact it's not just a licence but a Holy Command to wage war until the whole world is Dar e Salaam, living under a Sharia Caliphate. In fact, the Islamic State, Daesh or whatever you want to call them, is enacting what they see as commands from your holy scriptures. That is why they are confident enough to have the holy quotations on flags of war and executions. All in black and white for all to see, right? So there's no Ambiguity.
That is why there can never be any peace, because the Order to fight and spread the message wasn't just for that medieval time in the Arabian desert, but as you would readily admit, for all time and worldwide.
Sad state of affairs isn't it?
As you know, you've been very selective and have not mentioned large chunks of the Koran and the Hadiths where your God and prophet decide to be very harsh and insult large proportion of his creation, such as Jews, Christians, 'polytheists'. Not just that, but the Hadiths and history of the Middle East, India and the Far East, show this harshness being put into practice; where Might is Right and the Right Hand can seize everything, even property belonging to non-Muslims, who often have a choice of converting to Islam or becoming a Dhimmi, who does not have equal rights and is considered at about the same level as an animal. Tyrant after tyrant, Empire after Empire, have found inspiration in your holy scriptures, because it gives them holy licence for bloodlust and lust.
Take the contents of the scriptures at face value. There's no smoke without fire.
Your God is so insecure that he cannot tolerate methods of prayer and devotion to him which varies from your prescribed method. Whereas a Supreme Being would be capable of understanding sincere efforts of people trying to pray in different ways, even though I personally believe that direct prayer and meditation would be the most effective way. He also strongly prefers to be read in Arabic, which somehow suggests to me that he was shaped to suit an empire-building purpose, and allow 'interpretations' for non-Arab populations.
I hope you consider the above, and am sorry if I upset your feelings.

So you have nothing to say about my observations, not surprisingly!
There are similarities because the prophet took some history from Jews and Christians who used to live in Arabia. BTW, what happened to them? And then additions and abrogations were made to allow the prophet more wives, (such as his daughter-in -law, six year old infant child), motivated his army by saying through Allah 'if Allah hates non-Muslims then you have to hate them as well', ('Right Hand' can take what it wants, non-Muslims can be killed if they fight back, made into slaves and raped.)
Prove that it's a revelation from the Supreme Being. There are so many abrogations in there. Do you think God would keep saying 'I made a mistake, should have said this instead'? =Distortion in the message for someone's own ulterior motives in motivating his companions and troops.
Also God would never say nasty harsh things about his creation.
There were different versions of the Koran, and Uthman allegedly burnt other versions leaving one or two.
There is no chronological or logical sequence in the chapters of the Koran, but they are written from longest to shortest! You probably know more about this.If you wrote a book or a thesis, would you arrange them in order of length of chapter? LOL And call them Chapter of the Cow, etc

bin raj Hi Raj. I will be glad to try to address your concerns. We will do it one at a time. This is your first point: copying Judeo-Christian sources.
      1) When the Quran was revealed, the Gospel of Thomas was non-existant because it was buried in the second century AD, and was only recently dug up. For centuries since its burial until its recent diacovery, nowhere in the Chritian, or general, historical evidence was the idea that Jesus spoke as an infant was mentioned except in the Quran. Only now do Christians know that Jesus did speak as an infant.
      2) The mention of a Iram is non existant anywhere expect in the Quran. Not one mention. None ...that's until the discovery of the Ebla tablets in Syria. In trade records of Ebla (2500 B.C. - 2250 B.C.) Iram was mentioned as a city in the list of cities that Ebla traded with.
There are so many corrections and details mentioned and made by the Quran that differ from the Judeo-Christian that it's impossible that it have been copied from such sources. A very small list of such corrections: the son sacrificed by Abraham, the type of ruler in Egypt in different eras, the story of Adam, God's resting and humanization in the Judeo-Christian tradition, the discrepancy in the Bible regarding seeing God, incest by prophets in Bible vs non in Quran, divorced man's rights, Noah's flood, the fulfillment Joseph's prophecy, the sale of Joseph, etc. Each of these has an explanation and the difference is striking. The Quran makes historical and logical rectifications that stand firm in the face of these traditions.
