Why didn’t you just tack weld the threads on the backside of the nut?

So I bought a set- put them on. Worked awesome but then at the end of my plow route the rubber cutting edges snapped clean off right below the bolts? Not sure if I got a lemon or what but now I need new rubber cutting edges

Get yourself a piece of half inch plate steel heat treat it a couple times by heating it up and dipping it in used motor oil to harden it so it doesn’t bend as easily and use that in place of the rubber.

I am thinking about getting these wings for my Arctic Straight Blade. From other videos and people I talk to I hear that the rubber will fold back behind the blade when if you hit a curb or dip in the ground. I am curious if you had that problem and how it worked out for you.

i love them, fyi not great for running curbs. but they come off in seconds. great for windrowing, picking up lines.

Could just lay a tac down on the thread of the bolts

1 1/8” is not “way bigger” than 1 1/4”. In fact it’s smaller
