Undercover could have really been a true force of nature might have even been the best nfs of all time. but i think Black Box forgot one thing, that they were under the greedy ass of EA
PS2 version atleast is where it should be visually for last gen. I always was bothered by how unfinished main release was. PS2 was atleast fun and almost unironicly looked better or atleast visually finished. Problem of the barren and unfinished map remains tho. Maybe once there is a mapping tool released for black box gqmes Undercover can be finished. Taking the sattelite map image as a guide for all.missing or subpar details. Especially lackong vegetation around highways and other regions of the map.
I would suggest you to try PS2/Wii version with an emulator. Its really fun to drive around in it, and its completely different to PC version's handling. As for mods there are some but nothing too drastic i believe yet.

I like how it is now, though Minimap needs to be changed. To somethigb akin to PS2 version/Upscaled image of Quickrace/main map.
in this i was using outdated ui files, didnt realise until i found my newer copy lol

I liked it on PC and PS3. I genuinely had fun at the time
is there a good handling mod out there for UC now? the handling is so atrocious, it's the main reason I haven't replayed the game in like 7 years
