@@nathanklemick8351thats cuz this game has actual physics to a degree…anything higher than a tier that turn requires a wider turn radius for grip boost to want to fully activate. you should hit the tracks and aim for the left before the turn so when you start the turn on the right side (turning into the left turn) you can either cut the turn short by using nos to regrip (and then double dipping into grip boost for a jump out the turn) or cut the entire corner short and come out the turn extremely tight 🤷🏽♂️ but i saw a lambo in that race so the idea on all the turns should be start wide and sling into the apex of the turn and exit wide for maximum acceleration out of the turn.
@Wolfy 5Svn shit I noticed everyone is going towards grip. The problem with grip builds is that they are good in tight corners, but even then, drifting has been more rewarding to me around that corner and many other races. Grip builds and cars that are naturally biased towards grip tend to struggle with achieving top speeds, which plays a huge role in your cars rating. I actually have a hybrid huracan spyder drift biased but still can take grip turns if drift is disturbed( people who crash you to take sharp turn) but I usually it about 308 kph on the tracks and I initiate the drift with the brake tap and ease into it, downshift 1-2 gears depending on how much momentum is lost and then boost out of the corners. The problem with exiting wide is the risk of being crashed out of the checkpoint, which is placed on the left while exiting the turn. After that, I'm home free for the rest of the race. Surprisingly, the huracan holds up fairly well offroad with being rwd. I have a few mad scientist builds from sinple to insane that can dog walk TH-cam meta builds provided I don't wipe out and vice versa. There's actually a stock a+ car that can dominate without being tweaked or tuned.

So for example, you can divide the controls like "left, right and throttle" on the "arrows" or "numpad" (my choice) and transfer everything else to "WASD" for the left hand. I personally use "A, Z" for the gearbox and "S, X" for the nitro and brakes. It is also always worth remembering about personal comfort for the hands and spine when sitting while playing (this is extremely important).
My experience with NFS Unbound online: Get stuck with a loaned car cuz you don't own the right car class, have someone with a hyper upgraded car thats just barely off from being in the next class up, have them finish the race way before everyone else, then basically just try to finish before you DNF.
I would recommend to finish the story and get a bunch of cars there. For some reason, cars that you unlock in story mode thru races, are stored back into your online garage. You can then sell those cars or use them

Then sell those cars or upgrade them to make them the best of each class. In B class you will always lose to a Ferrari pista. In S+ class you will always lose to a Regera. Every year of experience in racing games, I've never seen a key configuration like that, but now I'll try it myself. Also that's a different video finally, with more funny moments and cuts. Please make more funny moment videos.
NFS:Hot Pursuit back in 2010 had that key configuration on default. It felt kinda weird in the beginning, but now it's so comfortable i only play like that when I'm on pc

Yeah I actually find it fascinating that there is not a lot of ramming like people usually is quite respectful which makes for some interesting races and I do a lot of sim racing online and I will say ramming is more common in open public lobbies in for example AC

What I'm impressed is that you got into a race full of actual players lol, when I was doing online with a buddy we only got like 1 or 2 other ppl who would accept races all the time.
Ashamed to say i resorted to mods to beat the damn story mode. It wasn't easy for me, even on "relaxed". Grip, drift, no matter what I did, ai's kept ramming into me. 😔😔😔 guess i have to acknowledge that I suck.
Im not bad but I did need to learn alot during story mode, I did come out 2nd 3rd and 4th but slowly I was 1st constantly after perfecting my builds and aiming for tweaking the handling to fit the cars I'm racing in.

What I hate most about this game is the fact you have to do a race playlist for like 20-30k when the NFS before this had races you could do that would give 60-70k just for 1 race vs the 20-30 for 3 races
