The designers at Fairline knew early on how to layout at a boat. The amount of space above and especially below deck is quite staggering for only a 30’ boat. She’s a beauty, thanks Nick for sharing!
Nice little yacht and as always in immaculate condition for it's age. It's a good job your slim Nick as if I was doing the tour it would have stopped at that stuck door. Thanks as always for the tour.
Nick... if you ever head up to Scotland you should pop into Marine Services Scotland located in Loch Lomond. They have a range of affordable boats including a lot of very, very nice wee things starting £15k and a LOT of options in the £20k to £50k range, plus of course the £100k+ slices of wedding cake boats. And I only look at boats with overnight berthing, thought they do have some open dayboats too.
Has to be said this was a fab era for Fairline meaning that today you can buy a well appointed, sturdy boat like this for a great value price. Thanks Nick, this is a little gem & just shows what you can get for your money!👍🏻
Thank you so much, take care and have a lovely weekend. Just watched Tristan (super yacht captain), so good to hear him mention you amongst other greats. Respect always. Marcus, southwest UK.
This boat is over 20 years old!!!! She is magnificent! Unbelievably well maintained and refitted! I know we say this a lot but surely this is SB3? I know you’ve made Aquaholic Towers look amazing but surely you could part-ex SB2 and upgrade to this boat! Have a great weekend Nick and everyone! Fantastic review as always!
It would be extremely tempting, my only slight issue is that it is older than my current boat and I prefer to go newer when changing. It's a shame they didn't make these for longer.
A lovely boat, even more so considering the age; and I would love to see Fairline build a boat this size and take what they have learnt from their larger models and put it in a 30 foot boat. Brilliant tour thanks Nick!
Little glimpse of the red on the bottom half of the bezel gives this lovely watch away for this video. Love to see the engineering and space management optimization required for smaller boats like this. Cheers sir.
To paraphrase from an old advertisement "...Fairline means Quality, said the Captain to the Boatswain. So look for the brand name of the ships that Safely Sail the Ocean - Fairline". Oops, I've just been informed that is the jingle for Olde Spice after shave lotion. Perhaps those ad people were inspired by the quality construction and roomy interiors of the fast, yet stable Fairline boats. Yes, I suppose that is precisely what happened. Again, Nick, you've proven fun boating CAN be affordable. Thanks for sharing.
Lovely practical weekend family boat that. We've had 3 seasons on our Larson 180 bowrider now, fun day boat but the targer 30 is definitely on my future upgrade boat list. 👍
Fairline Squadrons from 2000-2010 are some of my favorite boats. I like the darker wood and small galley. Now days designers use lighter wood and large aft galleys.
Yep...that boat is bang on the money...utterly superb. Great use of space....lovely lay out....that mid cabin is superb! Really one of the best boats I've seen on your channel. I totally love this boat!
Great looking boat!!! I'm sure that twin diesel thing makes sense in the UK on how you run the boats and the price of diesel being a lot less than petrol. Here in the USA though diesel is about $1 a gallon more, diesel engines cost a lot more to service, cost a lot more if you blow one up. On a small boat like this where you are going to be running it on lakes, canals, rivers, inter-coastal waterways, maybe at most a couple miles off shore, a single big displacement gas v8 makes a lot more sense. At least in the USA
Gorgeous, now that’s a proper cruiser, always thought of them as the most modern spiritual successor to the 80’s Fury 26, especially with the windows 😃
What a lovely little boat, it certainly appears to have been very well looked after would make a great first time boat and almost in most peoples price range without a lottery win 👍
I was loving the nostalgia of this boat , but then when you told me it had a second cabin I was in shock that it's actually a nice design , and I've seen similar boats that are more modernized but they just don't have the nostalgia look
A brilliant boat for a brilliant price! And a brilliant Nick as ever ;) Im a law student and your videos give me motivation to study in hopes of one day being able to own one myself.
Nice little boat Nick. I have to say that this era of Fairline/Sunseeker/Princess boats are wearing very well, belying their age. I think that when the buying public finally fall out of love with the current ugly/bath-tub type of design, they will fall in value like a stone (yesterdays news). Whereas these older 'classic' designs will continue to find ready owners.
I had the predecessor to this (Targa 29) in the early 2000's, same hull with KAD32's on ss duo pros and it was good for 38kts. Great sea keeping and never gave it a second thought about cruising direct from Lowestoft to Amsterdam. But I think the sun pad on the 30 sacrificed too much cockpit space when compared to the 29.
What a wonderful boat. Everything is there and the quality definitely shines through. It definitely has the feel of a much larger boat. Thanks for another great tour. Cheers
Thank you for that review, Nick. Good boat at a reasonable price. I wouldn't think it would qualify as your new boat as there's not much there that you haven't already got, but someone will get a bargain. Not long before you're back in the water... maybe this year do that River Dart excursion. Stay safe out there.
I noticed they had their fender lines tied off to the side rails! I have recently installed the inset pop up fender line holders on my boat and I must say they are a nice upgrade from tying lines all the time.
And thank you Nick for this nice show of this Fairline Targa 30 a very nice boat and a shame that farline don't make those smaller boats anymore but a good show from you again Nick see you tomorrow on Motaholoic?
Hi Nick now we’re talking something I could go cash in hand and actually afford . And obviously it’s stood the test of time extremely well , if wasn’t for the fact I’m about to do some major work on our property , which might knock a bit of a hole in my budget I would be very tempted by this one . Best wishes and kind to you . 😂👍👍👍

I can't believe that the boat is 21 years old. Fantastic condition and still looks stellar. Great video as always.
Nice little yacht and as always in immaculate condition for it's age. It's a good job your slim Nick as if I was doing the tour it would have stopped at that stuck door. Thanks as always for the tour.

Is always a good day when I can start it with a boat tour by Nick. Thank you
Our pleasure!
That’s an awful lot of boat for £70k. Very usable from day 1 without needing any upgrades. Defies its age very well indeed! Thanks Nick.
That's a very fair price for a lovely little boat. Everything you need for a weekend or longer, away on the waves!
Really smart boat, perfect for coastal daytripping/weekenders around the uk
So much oomph for this size of boat - aging gracefully and such great value.

Nice do at to get away for them week end. Thank you Nick.
What a great boat, with the Extra cabin.
Great tour as always

@@AQUAHOLIC I imagine its tempting for sure, but surely you would want something a wee bit larger? 34 or 35' ish?
Fantastic boat for her age Nick, i can definitely see you owning this boat my friend 😀

Learned something new again. Hydraulic lifts are nice and quiet. Thanks Nick. What a wonderful review of a gorgeous boat!
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
I think I've made it in the first 20. Just love these smaller boats. The standard of fittings on this one seem top class. Thanks Nick...
Very smart looking boat. Amazing how well designed that is and what they've managed to pack into it. Gosh, I just love these Fairline boats.
That gas hub cover is exceptionally brilliant.
Nice little boat
What a lovely boat, seen a few now and that really ticks all the boxes, lovely condition, beautiful looking.
A nice boat for the price and quite good fuel figures as it has only a pair of 170 hp engines . Thanks for the tour .
Thanks for watching!

The color scheme is very warm and all rounded edges are really nice. This boat feels much more cosy then modern luxury variants.

Not a bad little boat. Thanks Nick

Well done Nick.

2001!!!!! Just incredible.
A very attractieve offer. Still a lot of boat with a high quality finish. Of the engines are well maintained a decent privé.
What a great budget cruiser. Would very happily take that and explore the Mediterranean via the French canals.

great little weekender, the quality throughout shows through, I like all the glass. have a great weekend nick!
Thanks, you too!
I do like those, a lot of boat for the money. Sure that won't be on the market for long. Great tour as always.
Super boat with the benefit of being second hand and therefore more affordable.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see your good self at the helm of this beauty in the near future
Really enjoyed seeing this one. Thanks Nick 👍
My pleasure!
Beautiful boat for the price 🛳🛥🚤⛵️👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
You was in my neck of the woods Nick, just a few miles from our house, lovely boat xx
great first boat for weekend camping

Really well packaged for a 30ft sports cruiser. Seems just as large inside as a 32/33ft.
love it:) looking forward to see the Targa 34 one day:)
Such great looking boats, most things of this age will have dated, this looks very fresh and current

a very nice boat for a beginner like me. I could even service those engines after a few courses. The price is right.
Great video Nick.

Great quality affordable boating! Only problem is the old kad32 engines! Wish someone would fit a couple of D3 in! Then it would be prefect!
That back cabin would work great as the master cabin.
Hey Nick. If you want more boats like this. I would suggest a early 2000s bayliner 305. If you’re ever in the states I’d love to show you mine!
I like this boat, would be just right for me.
