James you tell everyone how it is in a language anyone can understand, that's why we love you and your informative tours. I love Fairline boats so much attention to detail put into their models, brilliant!
mate - just finished a stint of 137 days of back to back charters. I'm in the market fir a UK based live-aboard, I'm all about the heads (bathroms), so your floss test is bangingly brilliant 🏆
Loved the video’s and agree with all the positive comments left. Thank you. I was willing you to call out the ‘shout window’ “Get the Fenders In” as they bounced along on your joyride 😂
The problem with the Fairline Targa range was that the visibility was shocking and I’ve driven London buses that were quieter. But they do look pretty.
Don't no how I missed this one lovely boat , and you didn't fall in lol , love the boat , if I'm ever lucky enough to have the dosh to but a boat , I'm definitely spending it with you 👍
Just came across this review. The Tiara 4700 Sovran from 2008 is a much better build. That engine room looks tiny. I like that it has straight vs V drive. Sightlines in the cockpit look obstructed as you appear to need to scoot down to look starboard and to the port (not just the turn). The galley sink bowls looked odd. Would have been good to see the inside of the garage. Walk arounds look very narrow - I can understand why a previous owner added a handrail. Thanks for the detailed review.
To be honest, I'm not so interested in this boat as other boats you showed on the channel, but I still watched all of it because I like your walkthrough. One piece of advice, don't listen to your brother! Keep up all the good jokes! They are definately one of the best parts!
Thank you for your videos I love watching them I learn a lot from them. It would be great to do a Q&A video because I have so many questions. Is there a brand that you would say is the “most reliable”? Best value for money? How to transport a boat for example from UK to Croatia? What are the costs? Whats your best tip for a family of 4 with a budget of 200kEUR?
Great video, lovely boat but would prefer a flybridge. Love the way you blame the holding tank pipe after exerting yourself getting out the engine bay. An expensive way of washing the fenders but looks like fun. You have balls to go that close to the shore at high speed on a falling tide (either that or very good insurance) 🙂
Which is the better boat ,this or the Princess V47 in your opinion and why ? PS really like the colour of this one and how easy is it to retrofit the variable speed thrusters ?
I know there used to be (it may still be there) a Corvette at your marina...not sure if it was a 32 or 320. Have you ever seen a Corvette 340 (the one with the full width rear cabin) or indeed had one for sale?
Presumably rare because, as a proportion of the purchase price, it must cost a lot to ship them in from the Far East. Shame the business and manufacturing left the UK 😞
Nice boat except for that huge sunbed which is a total waste of space. I would have preferred an extended roofline and an enlarged cockpit instead of the sunbed.
Nice boat, two big problems for Mediterranean use - poxy small side windows do not allow sufficient freash air when swinging at anchor with the roof only open a small ammount to keep the cocckpit shaded. Similar cheap poxy side windows on the 2021 Targa 45 GT too! Again, to save cost, bought in telesccopic bathing ladder with no above platform handholds - just watch a middle aged 100 kilo owner try to use them. Fairline still need input from actual Boat Users!! Thanks for the video. Captain Jon
I gave it a like, as I like your videos. No bull shit. (ex; i hate these shower doors and they always break).. Honesty! Wife and i have been shopping for over a year once we were preapproved looking in the FL Market. we have seem to become picky (thats her not me). I found your Ch and said to her i bet he can find us a boat and will be honest to us.. we both love your videos. where you are away from OUR market place, if we were there, we would be working with you! Yeah your silly, but fun!!!
Thanks Richard. In England our customers like to be told what’s good and what’s not. They don’t mind making compromises so long as they know what they are. I have seen some US vids and they do say everything is great - so maybe you have better boats ? I am glad you like the vids - we have such a laugh making them 🥳
Your video's are great and entertaining, but personally I was never taken by these sorts of sports cruisers, they look more like big speed boats than cruising boats. Doesn't seem to really suit the climate in the British isles. Not a fan of the basement saloon down below. The master cabin is not a patch on say the aft cabin of a Broom 42 or an Atlantic 42. Nice boat and on the plus side a popular format for the med, and shaft drives for me anytime over IPS drives. Easy relaxed listening.
Ironically, both grill and barbeque mean the same thing... a wooden frame of sticks on which meat is cooked, both terms are valid, one originated in French via Latin, the other originated in Spanish via Arawakan.
I’m sorry but this is sad seeing an attempt at showing a boat that is all buttoned up. Hats off to British boaters that have such a limited season for boating.
... if you like the idea of boating but can't afford it you can volunteer as crew. People especially older owners can sometimes really do with a hand. Yachting clubs around the country have adverts and you can offer your services. If you do well and end up working overseas (>6 months/year means no income tax) in the tip-rich charter market you'll end up being able to afford a small boat in fewer seasons than you might think. There's plenty of money in the world if you really want to get some of it.
James Question! What is the largest boat that can be safely operated without having to employ a driver? How much training would a person with only basic knowledge of sailing need to feel confident and safe? Cheers James Delmonte
James you tell everyone how it is in a language anyone can understand, that's why we love you and your informative tours. I love Fairline boats so much attention to detail put into their models, brilliant!
Thanks John
Great salesman pointing out the quality build of this boat, a pleasure to watch.
You have a relaxed commentary, bit of humor, plenty of good information and a trooper for a camera man. The T47 is a nice all around boat.
No disrespect to any other TH-camr, however this is the only yacht channel to honestly present the realities of life onboard 9.5/10 🏅🎖🏅
Thanks Superyacht chef. I love to show how good or bad boats are 😀( and have a laugh)
mate - just finished a stint of 137 days of back to back charters. I'm in the market fir a UK based live-aboard, I'm all about the heads (bathroms), so your floss test is bangingly brilliant 🏆
Try Aquaholic
James your humor keeps me watching plus the good deals you offer!
Thanks MM 😂

Love the _eccellente_ hand gesture in the thumbnail😁😁 Jimmy the 🇮🇹
The best show on TH-cam, bravo James, the one and only
Thanks Frankie
Love near the end bit with the electrical cable couldn't stop laughing 🤣🤣 great review by the way 👍😃👍😃🇬🇧
Ah thanks Phil - they are a pain - those cables 😂
The problem with the Fairline Targa range was that the visibility was shocking and I’ve driven London buses that were quieter. But they do look pretty.
I think the viz is good but they are noisy - a small price to pay for exceptional engineering
Don't no how I missed this one lovely boat , and you didn't fall in lol , love the boat , if I'm ever lucky enough to have the dosh to but a boat , I'm definitely spending it with you 👍
so laid back and fun to watch this review with a lot of knowledge thrown in for good measure
Love your presentations! This looks great value 👍
Funny man & love your honesty! Take more boats out for a spin👍
It takes ages 😂

Wow ! Loads of questions . Dm me at james@boats.Co.uk and I will answer all your questions 😊

Yes it was a falling tide 😂
Great. Very informative- well done very well explained no bs
😂
Relaxed and soothing
When I buy a boat I will buy one from you James.
Ah thanks Aaron 🙏
Beautyfull Boat, would be perfekt for Flathead Lake
You tell it how it really is 👍
Keeps it easy 😎
as a trucker i heard a familiar sound when you started it up😂
😂
Brilliant Vlog James ! Nice boat, affordable for first boat. Was surprised at the space on this one. Thanks for sharing. :)
Really nice saloon too - thanks Patricia 😊
‘James the Thruster’ and his 10 top 5 boats!!!
😂😂😂
Thank you!
Best commentary ever 😂🥂
Brilliant video. Very entertaining and a nice boat.
Thanks Aardvark - t47 is a great boat 🚤
Which is the better boat ,this or the Princess V47 in your opinion and why ?
PS really like the colour of this one and how easy is it to retrofit the variable speed thrusters ?
Good questions. I prefer v58 to v47/48 as this is shaft and v48 is IPs. Yes easy to fit variable speed thrusters 😊
Love these boats, debating on one of these or the V48 for next season. Currently have targa 40
Both great boats but one is shaft and one ips- depends what you prefer
buüy 48 fóter grràt upgrade
I know there used to be (it may still be there) a Corvette at your marina...not sure if it was a 32 or 320. Have you ever seen a Corvette 340 (the one with the full width rear cabin) or indeed had one for sale?
Yes I think we have sold one. Pretty rare beasts 😎
Presumably rare because, as a proportion of the purchase price, it must cost a lot to ship them in from the Far East. Shame the business and manufacturing left the UK 😞
get the 34 footer simúre 35 foot searay ßuñdàçerr
Love your videos. Are you planning of upgrading your camera from an iphone?
I think about it - but (as you can tell) these videos are done on the hoof on location and I always have my phone 🤩
Nice boat, nice video 😃👌 I remember a video of Nick handling a Fairline Targa 47, from the same finger i believe….
Yes exact same place!
The air vents are older than the that they're from old MG Rovers :)
I never knew that ! I thought they were Audi TT 😂
Rolf and the switches are from Volvo buses.
Nice boat except for that huge sunbed which is a total waste of space. I would have preferred an extended roofline and an enlarged cockpit instead of the sunbed.
It’s sunny in some places Tom 😂

Hi Jon - we can fit customised parts to solve both issues 😊
I did you one over: subscribed, liked and.... I also hit the little bell!!!
Thanks Lukanda!

Get the fenders in!!!
Informative video, but the whites being blown out annoyed me. Need to improve video recording that’s all
Yes I will fix - someone told me what to do apologies
👍. Keep on boating
Why don’t you do any reviews on smaller boats for example, 28 foot/36 foot and everything in between? We can’t all afford these big boys.
Yes will try to do more - I have done some smaller boats
Your video's are great and entertaining, but personally I was never taken by these sorts of sports cruisers, they look more like big speed boats than cruising boats. GBP300k is a pretty competitive price for this size of boat no ?
Yes £300k is fair price and we include warranty and love part exchange !
I appreciate the gymnastics and the hide and seek contest but you lost me at the 1st floss test. Beautiful little boat though!
😂
Luv the way Brits call a grill a bbq 🤣🤣🤣
I can call it a grill for you Chelle 🥳
Ironically, both grill and barbeque mean the same thing... a wooden frame of sticks on which meat is cooked, both terms are valid, one originated in French via Latin, the other originated in Spanish via Arawakan.
Still available?
Yes this boat is for sale on boats.co.uk at this moment
If I won enough money I’ll buy it the use setag yachts
You should get a job as a boat salesman 😁
😂
It's a modern Classic because it needs new teak after 6 years.
Didn’t show the garage …
Doh - sorry
... basically the long and the short of it is if you go out to sea in this boat you'll have a tender behind.
Still the fenders out🙄
Sorry was in rush
lots to shout about...and a Poo tank !
Princess …Mercedes……Sunseeker….BMW……Fairline…Audi
About right. Bit harsh on Sunseeker though - I would say Sunseeker is more like Aston Martin.
I’m sorry but this is sad seeing an attempt at showing a boat that is all buttoned up. Hats off to British boaters that have such a limited season for boating.
Welcome to the UK boating 🥳
turn down your ISO your videos are way to overexposed.
Cheers. Which button is that ? We use iPhone 13 pro max
Channel for the rich...
We sell Jet ski’s and boats from £5k too 👍🏻
So?!

simple request ... would like to see a catamaran video
Ok - but I don’t see many
James

70’ ish with owner operator is usual 😎
