Thanks for the content. Hope you guys can do a boat tour episode at some point to see the finished product after all the work you put into it😊. Unless you already made one and I missed it 😅. Thanks for the awesome videos!
Poor Captain Davis. Glad to see he did have a good time at the beach. He will grow up to think he had a fantastic time cruising through the islands. Keep the dream going.
Nice sail. If refrig LED light contact corrosion is the only problems, consider yourself lucky. At some point in time, for refrig, you might get vacuum pump and gauge set for testing and adding refrigerant. Might look at Kiwi folding props- partially composite and more budget and DIY friendly.
Bloody hell guys, if you can and the budget allows might as well replace as you have a long way to go, you are having more adventures with your boat than the sailing. Take be safe and we love your channel 🇺🇸God Bless America PS - Davis is a total character and brings that little extra to your episodes 😇 Keep a look out for shells for us too!!
Great video! glad to see you guys have an Amazon shopping link, I'll use it next time we order something, my way of helping to support your channel and adventures!
hey all! We're (hubby & myself) loving the videos. I LOVE your intro! Quick question...how do you like your backpack wetbag you carried in this episode? I"m always on the hunt for good gear. Looking forward to next week! (dang, i just read the comments and got my answer - I'm posting anyway!) 😂
If you don't have folding or feathering props, make the investment. You will gain almost a knot of boat speed, particularly in lighter winds. It will keep you sailing, rather than having to rely on the engines. The savings in diesel fuel will pay for the props.
It was on our list of upgrades but pushed down. Rob wasn’t sure about them and wanted to see how it went with current props. We definitely see the return in investment now😊
I would guess your fridge problem is in the control board. But… the dimming lights gives some pause about power issues. Do know that power issues can easily exacerbate the control panel issues. Meaning, the control board me need replaced but fix power first.
We talked with the team that installed the lithium. They were not worried about the power as the winch motor can draw upwards of 2000 watts. Our dometic doesn't shut off either. We will be monitoring the fridge and get a better assessment once in Panama. Thanks for your suggestion!
For the propeller spinning and making noise, usualy you can put the transmission in reverse to stop the spinning. But it increases the drag and slows the boat down. You killed chives! How did you manage that. They are like weed!
Those fridges are so expensive. Get a home fridge. That's what i replaced mine with after it died. I got an apartment size one. Still have it. it works great. I believe bearfoot doctors did an episode on refrigeration. They are getting a house fridge in their new build ❤
What a wonderful episode thank you for sharing those beautiful smiles Wow those fresh nails with the butter and garlic had to be delicious Please stay safe and we'll see you next week

We haven’t yet. I’ve been busy trying to catch up our videos to 2 weeks behind real time. Should have time in next few weeks.😊

Thanks for the encouragement!! He has good days and bad but less of the bad at this point. Thank you so much for your comment & following along!!

Thanks for the tips!
Good luck on the fridge. Looks like a tasty haul!
Always a project!

We may be doing some more upgrades in Panama... stay tuned!

It’s been fun when the weather cooperates!
Keep in mind that closed season for Nassau grouper is December 1st through end of February and minimum legal size in season is 3 lbs.
This was filmed back in November but thank you for the reminder!
Looks like your all hard work preparing for your adventure is paying off. Keep having a great time.
We are - thank you very much!
Another good video.. please keep making them
Thanks, will do!😊

Glad you were able to find what you wanted. It's a great bag!
Throw the transmission in reverse when you turn the engines off, no more prop spin and it’s actually more efficient through the water (allegedly)
Actually it increases drag due to not having folding or feathering props. We may be changing that up soon!
Yes of course they are better I was referring to in lieu of feathering props😊 good luck!

Yes and we don't want to slow the boat 😬

We are researching that now - thanks for the info!
Have you tried locking the props while while sailing to check the difference?
Locking would increase the drag. We could if we had folding or feathering props.
Shannon is that a back pack you wear or something that turns a canvis bag into a back pack?
It is a waterproof bag that I love! I think the link is on our website. Very comfy to wear even loaded with groceries!

They were an unexpected treat!!

Will have to look into that! So far, she’s still hanging in there with only intermittent issues😆
