    Dude! I finally dunked using your tips on training, took me about 5 months from touching the rim (although about half of that time i was lazy and just doing plyos) to clean self lob dunk (there is a video on my channel) it feels so fucking good man, i am still pumped after getting it yesterday lol. Dude, much luv fr:)

    I was just searching your channel earlier today to see if you had a video on the technical aspect of dunking, and then you uploaded this a few hours later

    What you said about studying dunkers frame by frame is something I started doing around last August and September when I was trying to hit my first windmill. I realized I had no speed compared to when I watched how Steven Celi would do his windmills, which ultimately was a big enough factor for me to just barely hit the dunk after a week of studying. Even with the bounce, the technique is a whole different beast which I had to learn the hard way lol

    I can finally do spin dunks again like a 180 or 360 at age 34 on 9'5 after injuries to both my shoulders and knees and sometimes little baby double pumps with one hand . Your right its all about reps reps reps!

    it took me being unable to eastbay on a rim my height to understand how truly skilled professional dunkers are

    • @troliskimosko
      @troliskimosko 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah seriously, it’s so much more about the technique than people realize! My technique is so bad that I did the math, and I would need like a 60” vertical to hit just a regular eastbay on 10’ 😂 And I’m not even that short, 5’9”.

    I like the signature dunk that turns and punches downward; I haven't seen anything that presents before God like that. Speaking thereof and his double minded observance; you must have Isaiah and Moroni as part of his character with you. 💌🏀🎥🎬🔭💫🧬🌟👑

    Isaiah I love your videos man. Question for you, how do warm up you legs before you start jumping. For some reason I feel like my legs are never fully at 100 percent, because sometimes I can get to the gym and dunk immediately and sometimes I can barely get the ball above the rim. I just want to know before you start a dunking session, how do you activate your legs.

    Hi Isaiah I know this has nothing to do with the video but I was trying to measure my standing reach and I didn’t know if I was supposed fully stretch as far as possible like really fill my lungs with air to reach the highest I possibly could or just reach somewhat relaxed. I was wondering which reach I should use? Thanks

    • @IsaiahRivera1
      @IsaiahRivera1  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It should be as high as possible with lungs filled and dropping one shoulder

    Hey man, I love your content but I'm genuinely curious. Don't you ever feel like you'll run out of content related specifically to jumping? I mean it is a pretty niche subject and it feels like there are only so many topics you can cover before going around in circles. If so, do you have any other subjects you'd like to explore? I hope this doesn't come across as rude.
