All New 2025 Skoda Kylaq : The best compact SUV in its class.

The Kylaq is the name that Skoda India has chosen for their next subcompact SUV. Czech automaker Skoda launched a "Name Your Skoda" campaign in February 2024 to promote their new sub-4 meter SUV. More than 200,000 people participated in the project, and only the top 10 were chosen for further consideration. A trip to Prague is in store for the top contenders, and the grand prize is the first Kylaq manufactured in 2025. The MQB-A0-IN platform, which is assembled on the Kylag, is made in India. While it shares a base with the Kushaq and Slavia, the new SUV is shorter at around 4 meters in length, making it more compact. Skoda has used the term "Modern Solid" to describe the SUV's aesthetic. Typical SUV features, such high ground clearance, will be available on the Kylag, according to the Czech manufacturer. A wide front grille and split headlight design reminiscent of the Kushaq will characterize the small SUV. The vehicle's headlights, taillights, and indicators will presumably all be equipped with LED illumination. The interior design is likely to mimic that of the Kushaq and Slavia. The top-tier model may come with a sunroof, ventilated front seats, a completely digital instrument cluster, an infotainment system with a display larger than 10 inches, and more. Many safety features are expected to be standard on the Kylag, including advanced driver assistance systems, six airbags, anti-lock brakes with electronic brake distribution (ABD), electronic stability control, ISOFIX anchors for child seats, and more. The Kylag is anticipated to get a 5-star rating in the Global NCAP safety testing, just as the Kushaq and Slavia. The Kylag will only be available with a single powertrain option: a 1-liter turbo petrol producing 114 horsepower and 178 Newton-meters of torque. A 6-speed automatic torque converter transmission or a 6-speed manual transmission will be the preferred method of pairing it. Competition for the Kylaq will come from the following: the Mahindra 3X0, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, and Maruti Suzuki Brezza.
