Hehe this video was recommended to me just now, but I did this exact job on my brother's in law corsa. It had the exact same issue and after 5 minutes surfing the web I found this abs pump was the issue. Job done and everythjng is working, passed MOT
Thx for that Video. I have C0121 and C0110 Failure sporadically with my Opel Corsa D. Abs Lamp stays on. With the help of your video I am able to make the repair myself. I'll take it out today and get it reconditioned.
Great video. My daughters corsa acts exactly as you described when i try an emergency break. Ive noticed the driver's front disc gets very very hot and pulls to the right when breaking while the passages disc bareilly gets warm. After watching your video I'll have a go at repairing/replacing it myself. Many thanks.
The only issue you will struggle with is the bleeding of the brakes you will struggle to do it manually by pumping the brake, get a cheap pressure bleeder that runs off the car tyre and that should be enough to help! good luck!
as long as the numbers match you should be good! i have had faulty ones sent out so make sure they have 30 days warrenty at least or take returns if faulty
Hi mate. What do you reckon supply and fit would cost? Weighing up whether to repair or let the car go as its on its 12 yr old and 108k petrol miles anyway
I know this video is 2yrs old but dont suppose you know if the astra h vxr abs pump is plug and play too as long as you match all the codes?? Or will it need to be reprogrammed like im told??
Thanks for the video - my son has just been quoted £850 for his to be changed. Is it possible to find out which model he needs without taking it all apart to get the letters and numbers?
Amazing news the garage that sold it to him now say they will honour the warranty so it's a freebie! But I learnt loads on your guide and will need it in the future I am sure @@rstv84
@@rstv84 Ok I could not get the darn light to go out. Vauxhall had wired the 5A line to the heated front seat. I took the fuse out because I didn't think I had one. Fixed now anyway.
Ive bought a used but the serial/model number is not the same. Do I uncode and code it or return it and get Another with the right number on the alloy block
Is this true? We paid over £1000 last year for one of these from a dealer who said they needed coding… and I’m sure I investigated and was always told they needed coding!
Great video! So much help saved me a big garage bill by knowing how to fix the problem my self so thank you and keep up the good work dude.

Mines gone on 2009 1.3 diesel, will give it a go thanks
Great video and really helpful I use Essex Re Cons as well £130 is a bargain 😊
Great stuff. My Mum's 2008 Corsa just failed it's MoT for this, the bloke said "scrap it mate, it's a thousand quid to fix". Clearly not!
Now I know why that light wasn't going off after I changed all abs sensors 🤣thanks mate Ima get that replace asap…
Thanks....I am about to do this tonight to my daughters Corsa C!
Thanks for the great video. Very easy to follow unfortunately I got a new part and had it fitted. Next time will have a bash
Great video of to do one now
Many thanks fir sharing 👍
Thanks useful check and reference before starting this on sons corsa
Nice mate.
I have one of these to do.
The is front piston was being held fully back due to a vacuum in the pipe.Almost all the fluid was sucked out
Great video. Pump ordered, hopefully I'll have no issues!

@rstv84 yes, the retailer I used offers 30 day swap and 2 year unlimited mileage warranty!

Brilliant advice and video thanks alot extremely helpful 👍
Hi, great vid, thanks. Does the clutch need bleeding after doing this?
Lovely explanation mate
Glad it helped
Im from portugal and because the brake booster is on the other side this was a lot easier than mine hehe
Great video.i have a Vauxhall astra sri 2012 with a faulty ecu can i switch the ECU from a second hand one same model and not need to program it ?
I think you can. But do a little more research. 🤔
I know this video is 2yrs old but dont suppose you know if the astra h vxr abs pump is plug and play too as long as you match all the codes?? Or will it need to be reprogrammed like im told??
Does this also work for vauxhall corsa D 1.2 ecoflex 2012?

You don't need to take it apart you can see the numbers on it
While it's on the car. It might need a clean and a torch
Amazing news the garage that sold it to him now say they will honour the warranty so it's a freebie! But I learnt loads on your guide and will need it in the future I am sure

Quick question - will my key still work after changing the ECU? Or will I need to obtain my key code etc?
@@Here4Inclusion you don't need a key for changing an abs ecu
Don’t know if you’ll read this but what was the delivery time if you remember. Have just ordered one and need car back on the road asap
It depends on where you brought it from... I had mine from local breaker and they delivered it. Hope it comes soon
I got it from the same place in the video Essex recons?
Thanks a lot!
Hi did you have to clear the warning light?
if its not faulty there should be no light on! if the light is still on after replacement it may be another issue

You must have the right numbers....
@@rstv84 thank you so much

Nope I've replaced loads. Check ebay if they sell them there is a reason why. Its not too bad a job to do
Got mine done for £700
I’ve just been quoted £800 for this am I having my pants pulled down ??
I wouldn't pay that.... It's about a 2 hour job. plus a second hand pump. If it's a new pump it might be right as they can be pricey.gl
Do it need coding
Get the one with matching numbers and no
In the beginning of the video you mentioned two top brake pipes one in and one return, that's not correct, they both are in.
