Great review Danny! Bao buns and crispy hash browns look very lush and great! The hash browns remind me of Hallows Cafe and Restaurant in Bedford!
I agree with you Reptile, I'm a regular at Hallows Cafe and the hash browns are superb and are quite possibly the best I've had and I've travelled extensively and have dined at various cafes and restaurants around the country. If you want decent, top notch food, try Hallows Cafe in Bedford.
If your still in Edinburgh you need to go to a chippy and have a bag of chips with brown sauce! Its an Edinburgh thing! Salt n vinegar on Lothian road does great doner kebabs and chips 😉

If your still in Edinburgh, I recommend trying my local cafe/coffee shop. The name is Kem & co on Ashley terrace, amazing food!

Looked great although a little expensive. I do feel Bao's are a bit overpriced but if the they are made fresh on site its a tricky process....so i do kind of get it. With that said, everything looked fresh and those hash browns looked top drawer. Great review again Dan
there's also the fact that inflation is killing businesses off so sadly everything is now rising, your alternative being eat at home

Bao are popular here in Australia too but I've not seen ordinary breakfast food in them. Mostly Chinese, Viet or Korean. Oh and you can buy them frozen in the supermarket.
TBH the bao in this review look a bit mean with the filling and not very exciting.

1st thing cameraman should do on Danny approaching a new restaurant is to provide a full view of the exterior of the establishment. To give a feel for what Danny is getting into. Then if it’s not just a take out window, a 360 view of the interior. To give a feel for overall ambiance. Then a slow or still video or foto of the complete menu.

American here. Question for my cousins across the pond. Has anyone else noticed that H%P sauce's flavor had change in like the past 5-10 years. i bought a bottle and it tasted off, si ordered another bottle and it just doest taste the way i remember

no because unlike our HP sauce yours will be totally different due to FDA requirements, example lemon fanta in the uk is made by real lemon juice enter USA and their reliance on chemicals to imitate flavours ........... 5 or 6 chemicals to make the lemon flavour i mean come on its not difficult tog et lemon flavour you just use lemons ffs! haha

Everything is expensive there. Compare hotel prices with Glasgow. Hilarious. I stayed in Glasgow when i saw Springsteen on Murrayfield. Hotels are 50-70% cheaper there.
