I'm a Welsh woman living in the USA. If I come back to live in the UK I want to live in Bradford or Leeds. The people are friendly, the architecture is spectacular and the food is the best in the world.
So many people bothered about the colour of people in this video,get a grip guys,we live in a world with all different colours,culture's,beliefs etc. We all know that different parts of the uk do have a majority of one type of culture,its nothing new,yet people still make comments but yet the British love curries and an indian 😄😄😄
Sultans is great. We used to go every week from work at lunchtime pre covid. It tastes like no other curry I've ever had, but in a massive good way. The chappatti are legendary too. So light and fluffy.
i pass this place on my way to jobs i often do in bradford, never thought much of it TBH. However you have changed my mind Danny. We will be going to try some of sultans food soon with my colleagues
Bengali uncles was running the restaurants from back from 1980s best chefs are Bengali u couldn't top them When it comes to cooking Thst food in the video looked delicious
You should have been playing Sultans of Swing on the drive mate. The food looked great! I was so jelly. I would have asked for a jalfrezi because that my go to but those lamb chops looked sublime. I loved the fact that the owner came out to check on you twice.

Danny if you wanna try a bangin pizza.. come to Scotland and pay Mr chef pizza project in wishaw a go... prices are crazy cheap and by far best pizza in the area. Try south Indian garlic.. lovely
I remember getting a £60 penalty notice for using the horn and that was for trying to tell the other driver to observe the danger. Yet some person who uses the horn to recognise a person filming is applauded crazy!
You should definitely visit Deshi Spice in Bedford, as it was voted best Indian restaurant in Britain about five years ago, and only recently won a regional award. The guys in there are lovely, and the food is excellent (ask them to add Naga chillies if you're brave enough, and you can mention me, as I used to have music quizzes with them, where they played songs, and I had to guess the decade, which I always managed to answer correctly. I also ordered my regular naan bread, piled high with garlic, with extra garlic and garlic on top of that. My real name is Rob, and they may (or may not) remember me as a regular customer. I give them 10 out of 10, including the environment inside the restaurant, which is very nice indeed!
Where does the 1973 come from? The chef has only been there for 3 years and also has only been cooking for a total of 45 years. But 2023 - 1973 would be 50 years.
I a big fan of Danny & the channel. Unfortunately some reviews lately like this one have descended into a bit of a circus with people interrupting him. It’s great when you get to watch Danny enjoying the food and interacting with the restaurant staff.
I have those oval dishes, I use them for my cats food. Nice to get a size comparison, for how much food you get for your money. The mint sauce was for the Lamb, not the fish ya' muppet. Wow! Caught the end, the chef coming out with the tin foil, for take home... Glad to see nothing goes to waste!
Food looks great Danny. Bit pricey for £35 i would say £20 for that or £25 max. But as they say good foid comes at a higher cost and at least yiu enjoy it more. Everyone is so friendly there love the accent.
@@amzema3030 I've always said if it's top quality food then you don't mind paying more as like you said sometimes from a a standard one it can not be so great. Quality comes first as you know it will be tasty.

Danny you need to try mamos in Bramley/ Rotherham, they sell all sorts of takeout foods like pizza boxes, fried chicken, mozzarella sticks, pizzas, garlic mushrooms, burgers and much more
Unless you go to an expensive restaurant for a curry , all you're going to get is a generic pile of crap made from the same base sauce. Nothing is fresh , and the cleanliness in these places leaves a lot to be desired . And if you're wondering how I'm qualified to comment , I'm a chef de partie and have been cooking for 40 years .
Sultans has declined in the last 8 years. That guy at the end gave you stellar advice. These are the locals you want to talk to, not these clueless fools online suggesting hyped up places like this

Kari, I believe, is the "original " word, meaning sauce. It isn't a word in the Tamil and Indian countries, but it is in the UK and possibly other Western countries. This doesn't mean it isn't a word.
