Another fantastically helpful video. Thanks Tara
Thank you for the exercises shown and the excellently arranged pdf, when I lift something heavy, a bigger downhill, strong sun or some other stressor, start inversion, this will surely help. Have a nice week
These all look like exactly what I need. Amazing we can have such valuable knowledge for free! It takes such focus even just doing some simple toe/foot scrunches/movements I’ve been trying to do lately. Had no idea such interesting apparatuses existed.
this is exactly what i need, thank you very much
Thank you for reminding me about CROUCH WALKING. I think that will also help my hyperextended knees.
Thank you so much Dr Tara, you are a wonderful person 😊😊. All your exercises are superb and very beneficial 👍
Definitely going to try this!
I love your dog 🐶
I love your explanations and exercises...thank you...❤

🤗🙏🇺🇸🏆
Tara, this is the best video so far for my deficits. You outdid yourself once again. I’m scheduled for flexor Botox tomorrow and have started back with PT. I will ask the doctor about injecting the anterior tibialis. My 4 year strokeaversary 😂 was 6/15. Thanks again. Hugs.
Your little doggy was doing some amazing flex exercises too!
3 years struggling with this. thanks
Thank you so much for the information. My other major problem after my coma are my toes not gripping or spreading any suggestions?
Thank you for presenting useful and helpful exercises.I long to walk with less of a limp and drop foot.
Thanks for watching!
Super mam.. Thank you ❤🙏🏻
Thank you SO MUCH for covering this today! I've needed this so much!😊
Great to see you this week Kathryn! I hope it helps!
@@rehabhqofficial Thank you ma'am! So do I, but if for some reason it doesn't It defineatly won't hurt and will help get me moving at least a bit more!
Very helpful, Dr. Tara, thank you so much! Do you have anything to add to the brilliant video you did 3 years ago on how to lose the cane? For those with balance issues only whilst walking due to foot drop and some abnormal synergy pattern. Maybe some weigh shifting exercises whilst moving forward. Thanks, God bless you
Will add it to the list! Thanks for sharing your story and for the suggestion! Can you tell me what happens when you let go of the cane? What do you feel?
Thank you very much for answering! Well, happens exactly what you talk about in many of you videos. Apart from the fear of falling, I feel as if I was moving from right to left in a zig-zag pattern, rather than moving forward. I've been working hard on strengthening and retraining muscles around the hip an knee and have seen some great results but when it comes to walking without a cane, I think there is a missing link. You were absolutely right when you said walking with a cane can be counterproductive, I have learnt to lean on it and not on my muscles, and it has given me more and more issues to deal with. So it has to go! Now the question is, when is the right time to give up the cane? Of course, safety is first but if we wait till we fully fix foot drop, knee hyperextension and company, is it not going to be more difficult then? Thank you ever so much Dr. Tara!
i have right leg foot drop issues in last nine years , i am doing exercise regularly little improvement happened, possible to recover ? you saw any recover patient ? i am hopeless in this foot drop issues and this video is very help to my practice thank you
Thank you for the great video. I am unable to download the free pdf you mentioned. It’s asking for membership sign up. Please advise
Thanks a lot for this highly important video, Dr. Tobias! Your Chihuahua looks remarkably similar to my Chihuahua (except mine has a longer snout), but they both have the same coloring, although my guy has developed additional white hair, since his 16th birthday is in August.
Thanks for watching! My side kick is Chico. He has some pug in him hence the shorter nose 🐶 He is 10. Glad to know he has some years left! Sending an early happy "sweet sixteen"!
@@rehabhqofficial Thanks for wishing "Biff" an early sweet sixteen birthday! Chico looks adorable and healthy, so you should enjoy his remaining years!

I have a ruptured anterior tibialis tendon (a year ago) midfoot OA, and significant R. Knee 'Valgus/with foot R. Valus, causing great difficulty turning. Is this exercise best?
Hello have a foot dropping and shaking of the nerve 😊of my right leg looking forward for your reply

Hi, I have a l4l5 herniated disc. My left feet I can't lift from the toes up at all. it just remains flat on the ground. So when I walk, I lift my knee up and kick forward. Do you have videos for that? or I can try this.
Is there anything I can do to address the muscle spasms while doing these movements?
16:40 in your other videos , you are very clear you are not supportive of using estim in isolation, but in this video, that appears to be exactly what you are doing? am I missing something? Based on your recommendations, I do some targeted exercise of the same muscle / action that is being stimulated by the estim device, at the same time as the estiome, even if they do not align exactly in timing.
18:38 I purchased this estim unit and its great, however, I do not see links for your estim videos, and have only been able to find one in addition to this one.
Hi Tara,I foot drop from m.s , would these exercises help me.
My problem is when I try to bring my foot up, the big toe comes up and foot rolls to the outside. My shin won't fire... what can I do
I don’t think you’re speaking too much. Feet are complex. Your directions are spot on.
How do I get a pdf of these exercises
I have foot drop from neuropathy. Are these exercises still help?
Dr. I have problem with foot drop , It is improving but foot goes inward while walking, morning it is better but as the day goes it is worse.
Please help me with exercises.
my left foot goes up to the right. thanks
*Hello i have a question. After tendon transfer surgery, my ankle is going up very good (11 degree). Muscle strength is good.
Only thing that bothers me are toes. They are not going up that much. But it's not completely off. I can move them to normal position
Could i have a chance to repair them? Which exercises you can advise? Thanks a lot*
Hi, I'm going through the same struggle right now. Any tips at all? Have ur toes improved in dorsi flexion at all?
I have permanent foot drop from an misdiagnosed herniated disk that killed the peroneal nerve. I don't think any exercises will change that. If the nerve is not telling the muscle to contract, it won't move.
Am I wrong?
As it is, with a brace I can walk normally and walk several miles daily.
keep touching and massagingtheth from the back to the shin
What if the eversion is not possible at all? There s no contraction , and the patient is not allowed to use e-stymulation. How do we help them?
From my experience with my clients ,,,,we do a rapid exercise session and with time they can be able to feel some contractions with evertors picking up
How...?
I would.Ike a list of these exercises. How doigetone?
👆
what kind of tens unit is that?
Oops. I just added the link to the video description :)
