I am currently living in San Diego and I love it. I live in Kearny mesa, not in downtown, so I don’t agree with you that San Diego is walkable 😅 I’m currently paying $2890 for my one bedroom with all amazing amenities, my groceries are about $800 (I use hellofresh). We also spent too much on eating out (about $500). We have only one car (as we work together with my husband) and we are paying $914 towards our car debt + $192 for insurance. We pay $80 for electricity and around the same amount for water. For the Internet we pay also 80$. So our fixed expenses in San Diego is 5500 ish. But somehow we spend around 7000-8000 every months. It’s definitely extremely expensive and we are also spending too much as a couple. But I really love San Diego, it feels like a paradise on earth for me. My favourite outings are Del Mar, Torrey Pines and Liberty Station. Also, here I fell in love with Mexican food, and can’t imagine my week without Carne Asada burrito. San Diego, I looooooove you!
I live on Alabama st in North Park, but we rent share so it's only $875/mo per person. That's about the only way you can save a little in this city lol. Every once in awhile I'll want to relocate to LA, then I'll watch a few videos to remind me why I'm still here 🤣
I like San Diego, was there in September and honestly didn't want to leave lol. Though I'm sure that would have changed after a while. Could you do a COL comparison between Canada BC and PNW cities?
I loved LA but when we visited San Diego, I was sold. Hubby and I couldn’t believe how good the food is lol hope to visit more or retire there! Btw do you have a video on tips for finding daycare?
I lived in LA for 23 years, finally moved away in 2018 and never looked back. I now live in the mid West with the cost of living 3 times less. I can't fathom why anyone would want to live in California. The only redeemable quality is the weather, but it doesn't pay the bills.

I love to visit San Diego! I don't know if I would want to live there, but visiting for a week at a time is a lot of fun!
Why wouldn’t you want to live there?

I lived in both. I can confidently say she does not have a full grasp of San Diego. I would not take too much what she has to say into consoderation
Good video. Why did you decide to move to LA? I am moving to SD next month
