Excellent video! I just got mine today and rewatched your video to go over all the options/config for the iPhone. I’m going to be using this mic for recording my standup comedy performances. I have a show on Tuesday night and can’t wait to hear the difference in quality
Amazing video and explanation, thank you for information. I want to ask if it's possible to use it for an live event and direct the output from receiver to the load speaker's microphone input using 3.5 mm adaptor or will it need something in between like an amplifier? I tried with JBL Party box 110 but the outcome was quote low and increasing gain was not helping either but just causing the noise instead.
I'm not exactly sure what you mean but as long as your audio input is 3.5mm you should be able to use it. But keep in mind it doesn't have a mute button for livestream!
When using iphone does it allow you to use the 2 external transmitters? Meaning if you wanted to record a basketball game with 2 people having mic on them.
my dad and I do calls on discord for our podcast. He uses and android and I cannot get his microphone to work, it is only working threw the phone microphone. Can we use the microphone as a live microphone in discord or zoom so I can record his video with quality audio at the same time. Rather than the audio coming from his cellphone.
@@ToolsElectroDIY can u use the lark max as just a regular microphone for android. so when u call someone on the phone they hear you threw the mic and how would whoever is using the mic be able to here who they are talking to.
"Ehi, I have this issue: when I connect the RX to my iPhone 15 Pro, the RX starts charging from the phone, and I don't want the phone's battery life to decrease. Do you know if it's possible to configure it without charging?" Thank you for all!
@@ToolsElectroDIY So (and sorry if looks like a redundant question), If I connect my Iphone 13 pro using the ligthing included cable and plug it into the lark max receiver USB port, using STEREO mode and two mics, will I get a splited L / R the audio directly on my Iphone recording?
@@AURELIOPENNA I think this is a great question and I wish I could find an answer for it. I've tried doing the same with the Hollyland Lark M2 and couldn't seem to get it working with an iPhone 14 Pro Max. Some say it's possible, but rather messy cabling and connections wise. I thought it might be doable with this more expensive product, but is it? So, here's the question in a nutshell: Is it possible to record each mic's output to a separate channel (e.g. mic 1's output to the left channel, mic 2's output to the right channel) at the same time on an iPhone?
@@coleplacemb Well, you have found it. Yes It works! At least with my Samsung note 20 ultra and my wife's Iphone 13 pro. Two things, on Iphone I use another app than the native video so you can see L and R channel meters and, as far as I know, only works with the included cable out of the box. I've had to bought to know lol. I've tried another cable and didnt split the signal. So if you get another cable that does let me know. Just set it to "stereo" mode, use both mics and you're good.
@@ToolsElectroDIY it started when you took the second mic out and it automatically connected to your receiver at 1:35. The audio that's recorded up until 3:39 is the mic that's sitting on the table, and you pick it up and set it down a few times...but sugarbait is being overdramatic saying you damaged ears...

Thanks god somebody answered my question regarding connecting the mic to my iPhone. Thanks a lot!
My pleasure. Smash the like and subscribe
Thank you so much! I couldn’t figure out how to get it to work on iphone until you showed the mono setting. You’re the best!
Glad I could help! I knew there are people out there who have the same questions! Smash the like and subscribe!
Well explained.
Thanks. I used it extensively to understand most of its functionalities before making this video.

Glad I could help! Good luck with your show!
Can you please explain why you wouldn’t use stereo??? Especially using just one mic??? Wouldn’t that make the sound quality better???
I film alone, and only need one mic. With stereo mode it will only come out from left or right channel.
Great Video. In Mono Mode its possible to record two mics on iPhone?
yes

I found the lightning cable to usb C to be special. No other lightning to usb c cable I tried including the Apple cable worked. Any advice?
True. The include cable must be used.
Excellent coverage
Thanks for watching. I made sure I used it for a week before making this video :)

Yes
Record in Mono and attach one mic to each caster
Do you have a video settinf this up with Android devices? I can't tell if im doing this right 😅
No
Do you happen to know if the battery in the transmitter/receiver and the charging case is user replaceable?
It’s not user replaceable
So this one records separate audio channels for editing? Does the phone audio record as well?
Yes. Phone mic won’t work.
Excellent tutoriel
Thank you!

Sure
Wait I don’t use discord for that so I don’t know

Will this work with the DJI app on iPhone?
probably not. They are from different companies.
