Idk I hade the same problem with my sx 250 so I reset the power valve and when the tbi bikes get loaded up you can’t hold them wide open because it will just inject more fuel so you have to just blip the throttle almost
@@darrenflynn693 yeah we and the dealer tried everything, and I mean everything including replacing the wiring harness, CCPS, TPS etc. it wasn’t just my bikes, I had two and a friend had one. Mine went 12 hours and his went 37 hrs before they start. Moto bikes will do it sooner then a guy who rides trails or woods though for sure.
Holding the throttle steady illustrating what the bike does, cutting out, bogging, running poorly. Tried everything, so did KTM, to no avail they couldn't fix or tell me what's wrong. Ended up with not one but 2 paperweights in my garage. No more! They need a few more years to sort these bikes out, plenty of these issues happening with the new TBI's.
@moto-x I have a brand new 23 250xc, Has 2 hours on it. I've sunk $800 into dealership, diagnostics, and updates. I haven't touched it in over a year, still runs like crap.
@@Dat_Sun I’m sorry to hear that, it’s not a good customer experience! It’s not right when the parent company is unable to diagnose and fix their own bike. Too many gremlins at this point for me to consider another one, they need more time to sort these bikes out.
No, I had two bikes that did this, friend had one as well. KTM can’t diagnose the problem therefore we were all stuck with orange paper weights… oh and one white paper white with the husky. This is not something a dealer is at fault for. I have an excellent dealer. It’s more the parent KTM can’t troubleshoot their own bikes.
@@Danetudor sold them at a significant loss to a guy who thought he could fix them. The scariest part is the issue isn’t all the time it’s intermittent. Which is even more dangerous. At least if it does it all the time you have a better idea of what’s causing it.

@@moto-x so what did you do with the bike if you can’t fix it? Total loss?
