    Good information! Short and easy explanation of what and why you should do a mod. Well done and thank you!

    Going through the squish deal now. Did a top end at 37hr trying to get rid of random bog on my 2023 300xc. The old gasket measured .58-.64, I went with a .62 and my bike is too tame, runs super clean and great but feels more like a 250. Power band seems shorter. Going to have to use the solder thing and see where squish is at. Plus when I put power valves back in I could not get it back to 48 mm, like 47 or 47mm was all though it’s an odd angle to measure. The fuel pump is was seems to have solved the random bog issue, old pump tested at 48psi and just didn’t seem strong. New pump is 50psi and hits it instantly. Plus ktm updated the new pump apparently, the new ones part number ends in 200, the old one ends in 100.

    Finally, someone that knows his chit on these bikes. Yes, I've said the same things you have but not many people listen. Chain, has to be super loose! Great info, thank you! Didn't know about the squish but good to know.

      Only thing I didn't add was the tps reset but too many people are messing with the voltage and that actually hurts the bike worse because the stock tps voltage is how it comes set up for from the factory. Everyone is chasing this 4.00 VDC and it can still make it worse.

      @@ktmrider_45 Good choice. I've left mine alone too, it runs great so no need to play with it. The bike has great response, no issues at all.

      Haven’t touched mine for 40 hours. Best bike I’ve ever owned.

    Do you know anything about the ignition coil? I have a 24 250XC hit 10hrs. an has a code bike runs just doesn’t like idling sometimes

      I had that code too never replaced the ignition coil. Got a ktm rep to wipe the ecu and download the most recent software/maps and it went away. These bikes like to throw random nuisance codes. Next best thing you can do is buy a Two Stroke Performance mapping tool that you can clear codes and map the bike yourself.

    What fuel tank are you running and pros and cons thanks

      IMS. No cons just holds more and can put a quickfill on top for harescrambles instead of a screw cap

    What did you do with the map switch?

    • @ktmrider_45
      @ktmrider_45  11 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Nothing map switch is fine. Pretty sure you can remove it completely because gasgas bikes don't come with them. It's the start switch that's junk.
