I’m playing FO4 for the first time after watching the show.
I’m enjoying the storylines, and settlement building - which you didn’t mention as one of the main features of the game.
I am so into settlement building. I feel like I’m playing a 3D jigsaw puzzle. I love board games with resource management mechanics, so this also plays into that. Shout out to the Skooled Zone for helping me learn techniques and how to think about my approach to problems differently.
NPC animation/interaction is better than games that came out in the last 5 years [cough… Cyberpunk… cough]
Load screens on a PS5 are so quick I don’t have time to read the text. That’s a different experience from playing Skyrim when it was fresh.
So far FO4 feels like a reskin of Skyrim.
There are places and plot points that I see and recognise as being regurgitated content from Skyrim.
Diamond City = Markarth (lots of walkways from which you can fall your your death)
Railroad = Thieves Guild (thieves mark, hidden entrance through a sewer, etc)
Potions in fantasy settings will never be the same again. At some point I’m going to play a fantasy character that is a junkie, addicted to potions.

It's the same with new paint and no mods. They want to force you to play 76

Must fill it up with unofficial fo4 patch, fo4 script entender, address files for f4se, achievements, raw imput, see through scopes, vats freeze fix and few other single tweak mods to get even close to what a stable version of this game should be
