The Garand almost was chambered in a .275 caliber cartridge, which would’ve given the gun a better reputation with the South Vietnamese when we would inevitably give them a metric truck load of them. Unfortunately for that what-if, General Patton said that the Army should have a gun chambered in .30_06 Springfield, as they had an imperial ton of that ammo caliber. Garand foresaw this, and had created an upscaled prototype of the .275 firing gun, with the exact same layout of the internals, chambered in .30_06 Springfield. The rest is history

Let's not forget the Iconic Jeep Willys MB and Vehicles like the M8 Greyhound Armored Car and it's Turretless variant the M20 Armored Utility Vehicle, the Dodge DUKW Amphibious 2½-Ton Trucks, and even the Landing Vehicle Tracked (LVT).... Namely the LVT-4, LVT(A)-1 and LVT(A)-4 Variants or Equipment like the M3 37 millimeter and M1 57 millimeter Anti-Tank Guns, the M1 90 millimeter Anti-Aircraft/Anti-Tank Gun, the M2 60 millimeter, M1 81 millimeter and the M2 4.2 inch Mortars.
The Need for Flight Dynamics would be cool so that you can have Aircraft like the Lockheed P-38J Lightning, Republic P-47D Thunderbolt and North American Aviation P-51D Mustang Fighter-Bombers, The North American Aviation B-25C/D, B-25H and B-25J Mitchell and Douglas A-20G Havoc Medium Bombers, Boeing B-17E, F and G Flying Fortress and Consolidated B-24D and J Liberator Heavy Bombers, Douglas C-47A Skytrain and Curtis C-46D Commando Cargo Aircraft, CG-4A Waco Gliders and Piper L-4 Grasshopper Liason Aircraft.
The Far Harbor DLC opened up the Possibility of Ships and in turn some semblance of a Navy with Destroyers and Maybe even Cruisers and/or Battleships and Possibly even Aircraft Carriers, but more importantly, Landing Craft and Landing Ships as well as Transport Ships in General. Imagine actually being able to conduct Amphibious Operations like D-Day or Airborne Operations also like on D-Day in Fallout 4?
Let me know what you think about this and I'll catch you in your next video man! First video of yours that I'm watching and absolutely loving the content man! Hello from Prince George's County, Maryland, United States of America.
@@jamesscalzo3033 Jesus that’s some bible you wrote XD. I can only imagine such a vast expansion and I like what I see, though I wonder wether the game’s engine could handle all that though lol
Im loving these types of videos, keep up the good work!
Also, I don't know if it's the accent (nothing wrong with it btw, makes it better) but it makes me imagine that it's an European trying to be like the americans of ww2 after probably reading something about them xD
Kinda like Caesar from New Vegas, but maybe this time it’ll turn out well…
@@Ben_Boos with the power of murica! And gods caliber, the .45 everything is possible

Referring to the children of atom in the crater is cultist from fallout one. Genius. I legitimately think that would’ve made the game more interesting if some of them were actually cultists of the master. If nothing else, it would help explain the number of super mutants in Boston, given that the institute stopped experimenting with FEV a while ago.
Supermutant: Puny human, we will destroy you!

Is the m1 grand a mod or is it a hidden thing
It’s a mod available in the mod tab of the ingame menu (where you select settings, load game etc.); not sure about console tho…

I’m here on the 4th of July and I can say, that super mutant did blow up pretty good

You should do a run as a Anchorage veteran, with winterized T-51B Armor
South Boston military checkpoint has military uniforms I think

Can you beat fallout 4 as a Clone Trooper from Star Wars?
hey great video, the next time it will be cool if you add more WWII weapon, like the tompson, mp40, the springfild and more ! I also it's was really funny (sorry for my shitty english I'm french)
@@killianiallaten7956 For sure, my next vid will be as a German grenadier with an mg42, an stg44 and a Mauser rifle. Hopefully I’ll have it out next Friday.

Sweet liberty needs me
I had a lot of fun on one one of my playthroughs taking forever to turn the minutemen into a uniformed military. Every settlement was walled and protected by artillery and turrets. Every settler had a clean military uniform, basic combat armor, and a standardized combat rifle.
They were still pretty shit at combat, but at least they looked like they knew what was going on
I feel like you should've been able to use the Submachine Gun, as it's based off of the Thompson Submachine gun. Which was used during WW2.
Vanilla gun? That version is horrendous
Most of my pre-Getting A Clue playthru was as a WWII veteran. I used my .45 combat rifle against raiders and frankensteins, my 10mm against zombies, my shotgun against the deathclaws and overgrown crabs, and my .308 scoped rifle against bots. Naturally I stocked up on frag grenades and molotovs, and wore dirty army fatigues i found in a suitcase until Preston gave me the minuteman uniform
Hell yeah!
i'll go WW1, hunting rifle with bayonet, shotgun, a big variety of melee weapons a high capacity automatic assault rifle(pretending to be the lewis gun) with heavy metal chest armor, gasmask with helm, mods can help with the small details.
Only thing I would’ve added was more WW2 weapons like the BAR or the M1903 Springfield, so you could have more options in a gunfight
He was a bit late to the party but he still was the life of it
Man i fucking love the M1 garand mod. I need it in vanilla 4/76 soo baad
It’s great; and a goldmine if they added it to “the atom shop” which we ‘all’…love…so…much…XD
May I suggest you make a part 2 to this going through the d l c to spread the American way beyond the Commonwealth.
I could do that; though right now I’m already working on another video…

I think you got the wrong M1 Garand Mod, the Enbloc clip should automatically eject along with the last fired cartridge in the clip.
Good thing about weapon Pacific challenges you can sell every single piece of armor every bullet of ammo except the ones you need and sell every single weapon you collect
@@Enclave122 True, though then there’s the vendor selling problem
@@Ben_Boos hard to disagree. Good video. I liked it I will subscribe.

@@Averagemiddleschoolkid a fair assessment, though I had to choose between the military or PATRIOTISM….aaaand I hadn’t sided with the minutemen yet XD
Surprised you didn't add any other WW2 weapon mods or uniform mods. POVcombat has a WW2 US Paratrooper Uniform mod.
An OSS operative with knowledge of nukes and their effects would have the best chance.
