There was this one time, when I bought my first computer for college. It was from Gateway. Remember Gateway? And then I asked my sister which size I should get, and she said, "You will never, ever need more than 10 MB." HAHA! I am thinking of adding a storage like yours, Sara. Thanks for showing us around.

The 27" is an overkill for me. I always liked the 21.5" imac. Even for my photography.
One4All All4One it looks really wide in this video. I ordered a 21.5 inch iMac and thought I should have ordered the 27 inch one but it looks really wide here
i prefer the 27" because i think the bezels look to big on the 21.5"

I just bought my 27in iMac today!! I’m using it for 3D art and music production. I’ve been saving up for it and finally made the purchase. Ngl, I felt like a boss walking out of Best Buy with it 😂

Oh goodness, I bought one (also switching from PC to Mac) and it was by far the slowest machine I've ever owned. I've called Apple Care twice. I want to sell it, but I do like MacOS, but I'm running two businesses which is made difficult by the molasses-like system. I'm writing this on my Chromebook bought two years ago, which at $199 seems like the best bargain. There are so many threads about slow iMacs.

I listened to your podcast with Mac Power Users about how you used an iMac at home as it took up less space and it's nice to see a follow-up video to it.
I will wait for the 2020 imac, if they listen to the customer, they will have SSD as standard. 5700XT graphics, 16gb ram, etc..

I suspect we will reach a petabyte in the not so distant future. I still remember when 40mb was considered a large drive.

Was gonna say, 40 terabytes is on the lower end for the mainstream tech TH-camrs. Marques has double or triple that I think, and Linus even more.

Check out the HP envy 32 inch aio . It outperforms 27 inch iMac i5 and very close to the i9 iMac benchmarks. It has a bang and Olufsen high fidelity sound bar system 50watts, Radeon 2080 graphics, 6000, 1 contrast ratio ( a must for photography) 600 nits peak brightness, is Genuinely hdr 10 and its width on a desk is only 7 cm wider than iMac but 5 cm less depth. Yet you get 32 inch screen, more immersive experience than iMac at 27 inch.1 tb SsD storage, 32 mb memory. And a 8 core i7 9700. Oh and at this configuration, this HP 4 k aio is 2/3 the price of an imac

I like your home office setup! I haven’t decided yet if I’ll get an iMac. If I do, it’ll be a replacement for my MacBook Air. My iPad Air is my go-to for taking my work on-the-go.

Really wish apple had more mechanical keyboard options for their desktops. I've been using Logitech G815 (clicky) on my PC and it's so satisfying to type with.

LG provides the panels that a lot of companies use in their monitors, which includes Apple and their iMacs. So that LG is probably quite literally the same screen.

Nice review. You may wish to remove the stand beneath your new iMac should your eyes not be horizontally level with the top of the screen (despite the quite thick bezel). Otherwise, neck strain could eventuate, which can worsen as you age. Raising the chair or using cushions may compensate, but then your forearms may not be horizontally level. Best wishes. Funny situation😅😅😅... my dog just destroyed my iMac power cable supply . I went to a official Apple store to buy another cable but I was unlucky because the model of iMac was a little bit older and they don’t manufacture more spares for that model , so that make me to buy a random cable from amazon. The problem it’s when the order arrived and I was plug my iMac to power I saw my iMac doesn’t want to turn on 😅
Now I’m thinking what I should do 🤔 ???
